Aaaaand something else to keep you all happy :p.

It's an organic... thingy!

Just trying out some lighting and material setups in Zbrush. Just incase any of you care, what you can see on the object isn't just the material. I painted a quick texture and some basic deformations using a feature in Zbrush called the Projection Master.

Godlesswanderer 05-15-2006 08:54 AM

Same thing as before but with a different texture and different deformations to the sphere.

I've gotten into some abstract Photoshop stuff recently. So here's the most recent thing I've done.

More 3D photoshoppy things.

and,

All 100% made by moi :).

Matriar 07-06-2006 12:17 AM

Impressive.

Godlesswanderer 07-06-2006 03:50 PM

Thanks :D.

Holy wows! First off, answer me this: How old are you? And how long have you been in digital art? Because this stuff is looking really good, honestly. For the vampire guy, I think his upper lip, and therefore lower lip should be forward a bit, it looks a bit too far away from the nose.

Other than that though, guy.... looking good. Keep it up. :)

Holy shit on a shingle, this is awsome!

I think Hesito Infusco is really cool. I love scifi ish stuff like that. Do you have a less blurry version that you could post? That would be sweet. It seems like you are very experinced in this stuff.

Props2u :)

Thanks :). I didn't notice earlier but I posted a smaller version for some reason.

Here's the version I have on DeviantART http://www.deviantart.com/view/34604559/. It's quite a bit bigger.

Haha, I'm 17 and I've been in digital art for about 3 years and a bit (3D art for a few months). It seems like I've kinda abandoned the vampire guy without realising it. Although when I do open him up again, I'll try and do something about lips.

Something I've been working on recently in 3DSMAX to improve my modelling skills (which at the moment are at rock bottom). I'm still working on it so it seems pretty bare.

Edit:

The img tags didn't seem to be working but the link does, so I've put the link in instead :).

Matriar 07-27-2006 08:37 AM

Wow, that looks interesting :)!

(I wan't to go in there ;)...)

Ahh, cool. I like the background in that one.

Godlesswanderer 07-27-2006 03:36 PM

Thanks guys. Or guy and gal :). I'm still working on this so expect more updates on it every now and then.

Matriar 07-28-2006 12:13 AM

Good :D!

Godlesswanderer 07-28-2006 06:23 PM

More updates. This time the picture is bigger as there's more for me to show off :p.
I've put the link too, just incase the picture dies.

A little explanation of the weird looking thing on the roof. My original idea was to have it as a computer-like thing but I'm still wroking out how to model it :). The thing on the front is the keyboard and I've yet to model the screen :).

Matriar 07-29-2006 01:28 AM

Wow, what a fantasy :D. That's interesting! I never could bould such premises.

And how about a radar?

Godlesswanderer 07-31-2006 05:54 PM

Recently, I've been working on a ID-Card reader to go on the side of the door. Now that I've done it, I realise that I didn't need to do it in so much detail (it lags the computer a bit when with the whole building is on screen too.). But now that it's done, I might as well keep it in there. Plus, I quite like it :).

Wooo for huge pictures :D.

The reason it took me like 2 days to get this far is 3DS MAX doesn't let me input Japanese characters. So I had to find another way to do it, which took me a while.
I'm going for a bit of an English/Japanese bi-lingual office thing. Don't ask me why, I don't know myself.

Leto 08-01-2006 12:54 AM

That's coolio, but whats with the lack of 'o' characters?/ Can you post pictures of the building? :)

Matriar 08-01-2006 01:37 AM

Kewl! :fuzcool:

Did you invent these strange letters or are they japanese ones?

Thanks :). With the lack of the 'o' characters, since the keypad is 4 keys x 4 keys. I decided to not go with the random characters thing (my original idea) and just go with,

a i u e,
ka ki ku ke,
sa shi su se,
ta chi tsu te

I knocked off the o's because there's no space for them on a 4 x 4 keypad :).

Do you mean the whole building? The rest of the building is incredibly bare. It's pretty much just a square. I've been only concentrating on the lower part.

Hehe they're Japanese :). For some reason 2 of them didn't come out right but it's not going to be noticable on the finished model.

Well, just the part that is completeish, or the part you've worked on the most. Not the crazy baresquare part.

Godlesswanderer 08-02-2006 06:33 PM

Here you go :). I put in the picture of the whole building because I don't like a uneven amount of screenshots

http://img379.imageshack.us/img379/9...dingallgw0.jpg

And I've just realised, I cropped it wrong. I forgot to crop out the white line at the side :(.

Leto 08-06-2006 02:01 AM

It's got a real nice softlighting look about it. (:

Creepy Doc 08-16-2006 01:53 AM

Impressive stuff. Very.

Godlesswanderer 09-13-2006 07:48 AM

Update :)

Zerox 09-13-2006 08:39 AM

OMFG!!!
You ARE on deviantart, right? If not, you're insane or something.
Seriously though, how do you do this? (that's a retorical question)
The symbol on that building makes me think of the Mudanchee or Mudomo symbols, or that sort of thing. I'm sure its not meant to be Oddworldian, though.
The japanese symbols are cool too.

Creepy Doc 09-13-2006 12:48 PM

That picture looks like a building of Halo. Mysterious, great and dangerous in a strange way.

Good work! :)
