The face doesn't exist. It was only a trick of the shadows.
|
I'd like to see the Statue of Liberty. Yes, corny, and overdone, but I'd like to see if it actually exists. I'm thinking it's just edited into movies :p

http://nssdc.gsfc.nasa.gov/image/pla..._processed.jpg (it's there somewhere) No idea where I want to see. I know a couple people from Canada and it seems pretty cool. So probably Canada. |
:
Have seen: Tower of London Stonehenge Big Ben Buckingham Palace (Not inside, Obviously) Would like to see: Great Barrier Reef Pyramids Vally of the kings The Sphinx Empire state building Statue of liberty The Colleseum (Sp?) Thats all i can think of at the moment. Hopefully when i'm older i can see them all. :) I circled the "Face" so you can all find it easier :) Well, It isn't exactly a circle. |
Even though I live in the state, and have been really close to it, I'd really like to see the Abraham Lincoln memorial site.
Sure, close to it, but inside it. |

I've seen stonehenge. Great place for everyone to go.
It has this ambient aura, like space and time get mixed up a little there, I guess it's the beaker people souls speaking to us. OT: Godless! I didn't know Coolman was your brother. ^_^ |
Oh yeah, I remember. I've seen the stonehenge too. I didn't expect so much guarding would be needed back then, I wanted to climb on them.

Thats actually how I found out. I looked up some threads of yours and found it. Yes I have nothing better to do.
|
:
Back on topic: I want to see them Aztec/Mayan ruins wherever they are too. |
CMB, you fail at maths. But at least you saw stone henge, the pinacle of british tourism.
|
:
And i thought Big Ben was the pinacel of British Tourism... |
The fact that you registered two years ago in '05.

:
I'm still 14 and my birthday is before yours. tsk tsk. But back to topic, does anyone have any info on the hanging Gardens of Babylon. Sounds pretty cool inf you ask me. Gardeny. |
:
Gardens of Babylon dont exist. They were destroyed years ago (Thousunds) Or so i heard... |
Damnsen such a shame.
OT: Stupid me! I misread it and saw May 31. Shit on a stick. |
:
I would also like to see that Abe Lincoln (Sp?) Statue thing. It looks interesting. Not the White house though. George Bush sucks, In my opinion. :) |
Actually Tom, I do know your birthday, you told me prefusely when it was. :p
Unfortunately, I was ill though and missed it. So happy birthday again. |

I'm younger than both of you by June. Yes, yes, I'm younger than you by June, no grammatical error, I wrote it because I could.
even though I live in the states, I live in the Northwest and therefore have not seen any of the ones in the US. except mount Rushmore, that was sweet. and crazy horse in early production. need yet to see the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, the Golden Gate Bridge, I've been in the redwood forest twice. and Stone Henge is one I'm definitely going to see in real life, though I've seen the remake in Washington. |
I want to see some Pyramids. I don't really care where either. They could be the Egyptian ones or the Mayans ones or the Aztec one. Any of them would be cool. And I would love to go to Easter Island. Those big giant heads seem freaky.
|
Ooh, yes. I definately want to see the Easter Island statues. Though that desire has shrunk since I saw a documentary pointing out how windswept and depressing Easter Island is and also explaining the history of the statues. Once I saw that it lost all the mystery.
|
:
Wait... now that I think about it, you're always 1 year behind me at some point of the year instead of the usual two. I was like "Wait... you're 15... I'm 16... Ah! He's catching up!" Only a month and a half and I'm back to being two years older. :D My birthday's on easter, aint I cool? :) Oh yeah, back on the topic. The hanging gardens of Babylon do still exist but not nearly as big or as impressive as they used to be. I hear now it's just rubble. I'd like to go see... hmmmm... basically any old ruins interest me. Give me a ruin to look at and I'll be mildly amused for about an hour. |
:
I would also like to see the statues on Easter Island. Because I havn't heard anything about them, So. The mystery is still there for me. :) |
:
But I agree that ancient ruins are cool. I once worked in an archeological site, digging up pottery that had not seen the light of day for over 2000 years. Most of it was just broken shards but occasionally we'd dig up a cool, patterned oil lamp. That's what was so great about Israel; there were so many places where I could sit down and think about how my ancestors uised to sit, walk and live in that exact spot 2000+ years ago at the height of the Judean civilisation. |
