I'm midway through my first year in college ... and it's just so damn big that I can't pretend to know enough about it to judge it for better or worse.
Of what I do know, there's a cool improv comedy show every Saturday night, the marching band is considered one of the best in the nation (because yes, we do, in fact rock), the food at the dining commons is pretty good, I make $7.50 an hour washing dishes, the football team is good, but not overly fantastic, it was pretty good about giving me scholarships (but then, I scored pretty well on the SAT, so ...) the library is a ****ing 20 floor tower. Frigging intimidating. Anyhow, its near, like, the mountains, and it's an awesome place to be. So far. |
I've graduated. I no longer have to bother with that state-required popularity contest.
OOPS, I mean High School. Silly me. |

I honestly can't wait to get out of this shithole called highschool. It seriously sucks being the only male atheist in my grade. Now I could just convert to Christianity and have this all be done with, but then I would be standing down for what I believe in. Or what I don't believe in if that makes more sense. |
