if you guys remember the FMV in AE when the flying slig saw abe and he started to chase him, but when he first saw him you heard that $CHING$ sound? well that sort of prooves the fact that they do get paid.
I think the flying slig ment that if he catches Abe, he would get paid a good amount.

*Cha-ching* "Pramotion! Here I come. FREEZE!"

Perhaps he was just thinking of the reward offered for Abe's capture. That would come seperate to wages (if there are any).
Of course thats what it was. He was thinking in his mind: "Oh my Odd! Im gonna be bathing in Moolah after I catch this blue bastich."
belive me they get paid, they would kill the glukkons if they didn't
They cant! Skillya would NOT let them do that.
They've been raised to be subservient to the glukks. It's pretty well ingrained by now. What's more, even if they don't get payed, they do get certain benefits from servitude, like pants, guns and the ability to beat up weaker creatures as the mood takes them.
anyway...
if a sligs begins to show some bad attitude towards his glukkon masters, then he is send back to Skillya... and most likely comes out as a SligBurger. |

Sligs dont like Glukkons, but they try not to show that. This is why when a Glukkon dies, the Slig will laugh, but NEVER kill the Glukkon himself........unless ordered to of course.

its all a matter of perception, its slavery, because they have to do thier job all thier life (with breaks i assume)
But in another way, its not slavery, they get pay, pants gunz, etc etc, blah blah |
It really depends on your definition of slavery. For all the apparent perks sligs get, the fact is that they have no choice about being indentured to a lifetime of servitude. So I would call that slavery.
