I think that they used 2 different models for the Grubbs.
1 for the Queen and 1 for the rest. Cause if you look at the Queen closely she kinda has a different head shape (besides the giant head wear)

She's not a queen, she's their spiritual and resistance leader.

It says in the game that she is their queen.

No it doesn't. Stranger asks her if she's their leader, and she replies that she's merely guiding the Grubbs spiritually (and leading the resistence, obviously).

OH MY! It says IN THE GAME.
One of the grubbs says : Oh you should go see our Queen, man!
Or something like that.

It's probably not that kind of queen. Just a leader like queen not a queen that reproduces the grubbs. She would be a lot fatter :D.

I've transcribed every word of Stranger's Wrath, the Grubbs always refer to the leader as their leader. If you can actually pinpoint the location and situation it's said, I'd actually appreciate it so I can add to the databanks.

Personally, I don't think every single Vykker on oddworld is related with Vykkers Labs. He could be a rouge doc for all we know. What we do know, however, is that Vykkers are sadists first, buisnessmen second, so he probably saw an opportunity out in the wild Mundos west to not only inflict pain for "Medical purposes," put to charge outragous prices at the same time (He seems to pretty much be the only doc around).

Still, that's on to say he doesn't have a past at VL. If you look in his back room while he's talking to the Stranger, you can see the same padded walls that line VL.

Infact that was one of the reasons why Im so curious.

I still stay with my theory of The Conglomerate to send Vykkers all over Mudos...
seems closer to the way Vykkers acts

on the other hand it seems to be his buisness he has to run.

Humphrey and Irwin aren't the bosses of the whole Conglomerate they are only heads of VykkersLab...

I really don't think that he's been sent by the conglomerate. After all, the other vykkers we've seen have enjoyed a certain amount of opulence in their workplaces (IMO Vykker's Labs is one of the most beautiful constructions we've seen so far on Oddworld). Doc's offices are rather dingy in comparison, even taking into account the Wild West theme.

I maintain he's going solo, possibly escaping some problems further east.

I think if Vykker's Labs would have sent him, he would have had a nicer place.

Cullen you have to understand that the VykkersLabs do not represent the whole Conglomerate...

but I have to admit it's more likely he's there because his own will.
(even if I still have that gutt feeling he has been send)

^yeah, thats still something to consider, he would have had about 4 more Vykkers with him.

look at me doing a theory:

the back of his buisness could be more equiped as it seems to have the same wall panels as in VykkersLabs. and the fact it isn't as super scientistic equiped in the entrance is probably to not afraid the simple minded Clakkerz. Making them feel more "home".

Imagine the face of a townsfolk is he's directly confronted to some complicated scientific devieces and a place as VykkersLabs?

Vykker resemblence- they are "Hermaphroditic self-impregnating masters of weird science" thus they all look the same due to constantly reusing the same DNA.
Also they are not completly the same take a single species of cat for example, to me all cats with orange fur look the same, but their is in fact subtle diffrences, if I really got to know these cats in time I would see diffrences.

Stranger's thoughts about Sekto- In that point in the game it was easy to tell Stranger didn't want anyone knowing about him, if he was intrested in working for him he would of actually tried looking for a Steef, do you remember Stranger kept saying he needed the operation for his life? Its becuase he had a huge bounty on his head becuase of Sekto, so of course he wanted to kill him.

Why Doc was by himself- This is merely my theory unlike the facts posted above but I believe this takes place after MO, sense Vykker's lab was blown up Vykkers would have to find other ways to make money resulting in Doc living all the way out here.

Tha-a-at's right! Vykkers'll do ANYTHING-even becoming a hitman-to get some moolah in their greedy claws.

Well, it's not exactly like that.

Sadism could be roughly described as when a person recieves a pleasurable, perhaps even intoxicating, experiance from inducing pain or horrible circumstances upon other people or creatures. What kind of pleasure? A sadist would usually rank this pleasure as about equal, if not "Better than," the pleasure of sex.

Yeah, I have to admit I didn't really get a 'sadist' vibe from them so much as that they are completely and utterly non-empathetic. So they'll do whatever they want and not care at all what harm they cause to others to acheive their aims.
