Well, I also meant the Mongo River. I love the lush forests, with the birds and other creatures chirping. Like what Lobo said, and I quote, "I am a sucker for forests" :p
|
Im am with both of you all the way: "sucker for forests"
I think part of why I have enjoyed the 3 Abe games more then Stranger's Wrath is because I love the green so much! It REALLY adds to the Odds. And I think part of why I love green so much is because I used to live in Indonesia, where it is green around every corner. |
:
And as fer you, LoboDiablo, there's nothing wrong with dreamin' too much...:p Can we not imagine ourselves where we want to be on Oddworld? I do, and I bet the rest of you do, too. So don't deny it, Lobo. :D |
I'd love to go to Paramonia, imagine it: Lush forests, tranquility, visiting bizzare yet intriguing structures, blowing away attacknig paramites with your rifle. I'd also like to go to Monsaic, the temples ar incredbile and they'd be wonders to behold, and with all the spiritual calmness going on it'd make for a relaxing and meaningful visit. Providing you weren't asked to undertake the Trials for the Shrykull by Bigface. :D
I'd actually like to go to any mudokon village, and just see what they do, and take part. Like it said in one of the games' manuals, "Oddworld would be a lovely place to visit. but you wouldn't want to live there." Although I disagree with the 'not wanting to live there'. If you could live in a quiet mudokon village or temple it could be quite fun. And too be honest, I wouldn't mind going to FeeCo or the Brewery. Travelling around the Industrial areas, viewing the technological wonders, maybe being a bit of a revolutionary. And haven't you always wondered what Soulstorm Brew tastes like? I could go on and on about this topic, so I'll stop before I end up writing an essay. G'bye. |
Ohhhhhhh some Soulstorm Brew would be exellent.
I would love to visit the Brewery as well. |

People said i waisted time with the "Stangers Wrath" Thread, but this is just stupidity.
though if i were to be able to go to any where in oddworld it would be all the way in the sligs Barracks. |
If its plain stupidity, the DONT POST IN IT!!!
|
It's true I'd like to explore some industrial facilities
and FeeCo Depot most of them all :D |
:
I'd also enjoy visiting some of the areas pictured in the concept art, like the Song Engine, Ma' Spa, or the Native Mudoken village(s?). |

:
if you cant figure out what i meant cullen then here is the translation:>everything YOU post IS STUPIDITY!!! DOOO YOUUU UNDERRRStAAAANDDD, Now go to sleep. |
And everything you post is inflammatory and pointless. Just try staying on topic for once dude. If that's too difficult, shutting up would be another option.

Icarus, If you dont like the forums that much, why the hell did you join?
I scoped out this place for a long-long time and really loved it, but I was'nt sure if I wanted to become a member yet so I waited. Eventually I realized that it is only an oportunity I might not get again, so I took it up quickly and jioned. Waited for a long time to get varified, but after that, Im glad to be a member of this forums. Now you, I dont know. Im not so sure if you're to proud by the way you spam all-the-time and make piontless posts. Ill admit, that I did that a little before, but now I have stopped by much. And I hope you will too. (((Sorry for being offtopic, just trying to get a piont through))) |
Cullen, use PM for this please...
I'm tired of people mzking this kind of discutions on the GD |
You're right, Im sorry. Im sorry.
Ontopic: What do all of you think the most dangerous place (OR LEVEL) on Oddworld would be to visit??? Im going to have to go with the level: "VYKKER SUITES". I think it would be so dangerous, with all the Lil' Hackers runing around. |
RuptureFarms... since it looks like designed to be dangerous.
|
True, it does. But take away all the Slig's guns, and RuptureFarms is nothing.
|
Can I say one thing please about RF? *coughfallingrindercough* :D
|
I can say something back:
CoughLeversthatturnofftheGrindersCough. |
Soul storm brew, was bad and can get worst
*My 100th POST!!! 40 of it was done by me. |
What? What are you saying Icarus? I didnt understand that.
|
The most dangerous place? Hmm...
I'd go with Junkyard ditch. SO many outlaws in such little space. But then there's Vykker's labs. Oh god...the Interns...and the big-head Vykkers...I still get the chills when I see 'em. |
Most dangrous? Or most creepy?
Most creepy is Vykers Labs... Endless hallways, where you can run into no-one for a long time and suddenly bumb into a vyker just looking for something to cut apart. *shiffers* Most dangrous place would still be Slig Barracks... remember that there are tons of sligs there with a very ichy trigger finger. Their in training and just dying to shoot SOMETHING. So yea... I wouldn't risk going in there unless I knew what I was doing. |
Both, Havoc. Creepy, AND dangerous.
You try killing an armored Vykker with operation knives in each claw, or an armored Intern with Snuzi guns. |
Slig Barracks, within 2 minutes in there i lost, annoying really. i mean i must of lost atleast 40-50 times. still bad at it.
|
I rock at Slig Barracks.
|
i'm pretty good at everything else in these games except that one place.
|
What's so hard about the barracks? Everyplace you see shadows is frankly skippable, and the sligs-in-backgrounds parts just require fast controls and puzzling.
Hmn, most dangerous place... I'd say the Scrabanian temple. My spine always freezes at the last part where the scrab chases you, so close to death all the way. Ai. *shiver* And ofcourse once you've made it, you have to jump through the portal, then you miss the triangle button, and yer toast:p And creepy? Hmm... I don't know... Oh! In necrum, that huge face-tree in the background, I never was able to look at that screen when I was... 6 years old. But I grew to love it anyhow. The background music in those levels rocked aswell. |
that is....so true
