Here we are. I extracted the files and deleted the original zip file before I learnt the original source had been deleted, so they're all separate files, I'm afraid, and still in the .wma filetype. Additionally, there may be a problem with track 5, but I don't know for certain. It won't let me rename it for some reason.

Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking. Whether he "spammed" or not, he was just updating the thread to let people know how the process was working out. It was unfair to treat him so harshly just because he was trying to update the thread. He was a new member and sometimes it takes time for new members to understand how things work around here. The only reason he might have been seen as a "jerk" was because he was provoked. This is just my two-cents. I'm not attempting to flame anyone because it's just an opinion. If you don't agree, that's fine and all, but I'm just stating what I think. I think that Lovo was treated unfairly.

I DO have to make a sincere apology to Ajiellyn. I know she was working on the song files, and I just got too excited that I had already made my own and I was just all like LOOK AT ME! I AM THE MUSIC MAN! I apologize for being that way. But hey, maybe if you posted your versions, Ajiellyn, we can COMPLETE the masterpiece of a soundtrack this may be. I also recorded all the FMVs but Angalok said they're already out on the munch game DVD? (I dunno, sound familliar? I don't have Munch's oddysee, just both abe games.) Just a sidenote: Yeah that's why I got a PS2 back in the day. I had just started working when I was 16ish, and I bought a playstation 2 because I wanted to get oddworld: munch's oddysee... later that day I found out that it was on XBOX!!! I was mad. I already opened the PS2 and all.... heh. Couldn't return it! Oh well. I'm also a HUUUGE Twisted Metal fan, so I was able to play that. I DO however, have Munch's Oddysee for Game Boy Advance! haha! |
Well, Munch is a good game, but I don't think it's as good as the Abe games or even Stranger, for the matter. ;) I don't have the Munch game for the GBA, though. (I don't have many GBA games at all, for the matter.) And as for the rest of the AE music, I hope that's coming along fine and dandy! :) I can't wait until you guys 'n' gals finish it because I bet it'll sound great. ;)

Am I the only one not feeling guilty for saying what I did? Sorry for sounding like the insensitive prick here, but I did tell the guy (TWICE! 2 times!) in a normal decent fashion, not basing anyone, how the rules are around here. And instead of listning he just did it again to be a jarkoff. So no, I'm not making excuses. But fine, I'l give the guy a second chance.

This thread reaks of overacting. Lovo, well done for not letting the rudeness of some members get to you in the long run. Odd chick, well done for being such an exemplory community member. Oddish and Used, thanks for the compliment. If GD ever needs more moderating I'd be happy to step into the role again, but there's really just so little going on that the OWF were streamlined, and at the time I could manage my time well enough to find a way onto the Forums with all the work I had. Now I've got things all nice and balanced.

I'd stopped for a little when Lovo came on scene with the game rips, but I've just started back up again and I'm focusing on the chase, threat, and possession tunes. This is going to be a lot harder than any regular music, it's not just about finding a place, but being able to arouse the music for one part and be able to listen for the second part. Believe it or not, I cut and paste some parts as long as they come out fine. Max, IM me again whenever you're able to download more from me. I have the Feeco Slig Possession track ready, as well as the Bonewerkz Threat and Chase. Also, delete the Mines Danger one I gave you, I'm going to redo that one because I just realized it started out wrong. I must've been smoking penguins or something. |
