Oh man, this is not good... I know someone who lives on Edgeware Road.
Damn, this is why we shouldn't have jumped on America's bandwagon. I KNEW this was going to happen at some point. I tell you what though, Tony Blair better get his ass straight back to the G8 summit and fix poverty and climate change. Tragic as this is it's no excuse to ignore something that will eventually kill millions of people. |
Yeah, I heard it on the news too. It is scary that terrosim attacks are happening here in England.
|
Someone go shoot Osama Bin Laden out of a freaken cannon!
|
I still can't believe this has happened. What did the World ever do to those psycho killers? Then again, if they're psycho killers then they won't care what so ever those filthy sub humans!
|
There should be milatary protection in every country, state and city. One day the freakin'
terrorists are gonna kill every freakin' country. |
Thats what every country IS doing. It's just everything is so focused at the middle east that it's like butter scraped over too much bread and one big blob of it in the middle somewhere.
|
As I said earlier, this in London has happenedbecause of Blair sucking up to Bush. Al Qaeda have done this because we got involved in Bush's businesss and in effect helped him kill innocent people. It's a no win situation, but at least Blair is carrying on with G8. Dino made a good point, poverty will kill millions. But I only worry that Al Qaeda will try something else.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm...this forum sounds like the ingredients to a second rate musical similar to Les Mis.

Oh dear the morons are spawning in here. Please shh.
Who suggested that all americans were pro war? Idiot. |
Listen Douche, this thread is for people who wish to discuss the recent tragdy in London. Not your petty affairs with me, so either stick to that or leave. And another thing, the only moron here is YOU!

I agree with Hobo. Yes, it is a tragedy but we're lucky to get away with it this lightly. And the attack was long anticipated and overdue considering what the peeps in the government have been saying.
The attacks on America were much worse. |
So many innocent deaths, dude. This ain't kidding.
Ofcourse, the earth is overpopulated, but killing people off straight away isn't gonna solve it. Besides 33 people isn't a lot compared to the total amount of humans on earth. :
EDIT: WHOA 2 pages already???! :
|
Hobo, would you quit bein' an assh@%?! We are being considerate fer the people in London thay were attacked! Who gives a f#&% if it was 33 "measley" people that were killed! No matter how much the death count, it's bad! Doesn't matter if it's 100,000,000 people that were killed, it's bad! Now, quit actin' like you don't give a damn! If you want to continue, then go act like you don't give a f#%& SOMEWHERE ELSE! Thankyou fer your consideration, and the rest of you that agree with Hobo!

If i was Laden i'd be pretty fudged off at the patheticness of this attack. 33 people dead. 90 injured. Hardly good statistics for a Terrorist. Plus, who the Hell puts a bomb on the second storey of a bus...AT THE BACK. Bizarre.
People keep bringing up this wouldn't have happened if we hadn't have gone into Iraq. I'm pretty sure it would've done. They're Islamic Fundamentalists and from what i gather they want the world to be all Islamish, plus, they despise the West. So it would've happened, in my opinion, sooner or later. This only proves that America can do EVERYTHING* bigger and better than the UK. 33 people. Christ. * - Everything aside from win more wars than us. Hell. Yeh. |
Err... I dunno if you mean me with that too, Dark Elite. But if I wasn't clear, I was being quite sarcastic at times, you know?
|
Hey, arguing people, this is not time for being all disrespectful and petty. Shut it. Please.
I haven't had my television plugged in for a week or so, and I didn't hear about this until half an hour ago at my grandparents'. My heart goes out to all of London as well. The two-story bus that was bombed looks like it's done the most damage. I saw shots of blood splattered on the walls of buildings where it went off. And all the wounded people (even if it's not much compared to the attacks here)... God, it looked horrible. But seeing the strength and resilience of the people there is amazing--So many men and women declaring they won't let this affect their daily lives negatively. |
Death toll is now at 50.
|
Aquatic, you actually saw blood spatter on the walls of where the bomb went off? That's pretty damn scary... O.O
|
50? I pray for all those killed, injured, or related to victims of this attack. 50 so far have been confirmed? I sadly think there may be more in the wreckage at King's Cross. And Ambi, that sounds pretty horrific. I'm glad I haven't seen such pictures.
|
I really wouldn't want to see it...and 50 already!? Yesterday, 33, today, confirmed of 50 people killed.
|
The amount of deaths in the double decker bus now counts thirteen.
|
People are saying that they were attacked over the olympics. Are they ****ing serious? Anybody who really believes that is functionally retarded. My mom said she'd heard that from some people, even media figures. Good thing I bitchslapped her back to reality with the fact of British presence in Iraq and G8.
Yeah, they ****ing killed 50 people and maimed a couple dozen more because karate wasn't voted in. |
:
I've also seen a few pictures/videos taken from cell phones from victims and passers-by. The scariest cell phone video was taken in a subway: There was much chaos and what looked like fire in a distance behind all the people. |
*shudders* that's terrible.....
|
I have seen London's great architecture in person. I can't believe they would ruin such refined architecture. I can't believe they would do any of this period!

Why can't these terrorists just kill our prime minister or politicians? :

Although I am aware that the amount of deaths is nothing compared to that of September 11, I think one of the worst things to come of this is that it means terrorism has become very much a part of everyday life. It's now not months or years of planning for one big attack, it's many smaller attacks anywhere in the world.
Also, you can't look at it like "32 deaths, that's not much" because if it was a close friend or member of your family, it would be like the end of your world. Any innocent human life ended is a tragedy to someone. It's interesting to me that the number of explosions dropped from seven (what the news stations were saying a couple of hours after the incident) to four (how many it actually was). What gave them the impression it was seven in the first place? |
