Here you go. I've made a map. Not far really, about a 45 minute journey.

I love my house, but I HATE my town. Anyway, It's an old rectory where there used to be a church where my back yard is, but it was burned down and the soil is almoost useless. It has two floors and a cellar where I seldom go into (it has a horrible musty smell) and an attic. The staircase comes right down the middle of the house and right in front of it it the section (not room) where we keep our birds, frogs, and plants. The section to its left is the living room where there is a TV, sofa, and a big chair. To the plant room's right is where my mom's office is. Her computer is the only one with internet access so I am here a lot. Our kitchen is right behind the staircase and it is one of my favorite rooms because it has a medditteranean atmosphere to it. I'll just skip to my room. It's more like a cubby hole, but I like it like that. It has lots of selves comng off the wall where I keep my souvenirs from various places, books, and a lava lamp. It has a BIG bed with lots of pillows on it so it is the perfect place to sleep :). My desk is adjacent to my bed and on that are other little knick knacks, my computer, and tons of CD cases. My TV is on my dresser which has a big circular mirror so I can look at my prettiful face all the time! The door to the attic is also in my room and it really used to creep me out after I saw the Grudge cuz I always thought that evil little girl would just come down and kill me, *shudders.* The back yard is fairly sized and has big tall bushes on its western borders so I can have all the privavcy I want to from my pesky neighbors! There is also a dam and resevoir a few miles away and it is fun biking there.

Well, I finally found my camera and tooks some pictures. This is basically my upstairs:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...icturez135.jpg My fabulous computer room. Yes, that is OWF on the moniter. I see u! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...icturez133.jpg That's my hall. My room = first on the left. Actually, there's one before it (you can see part of the frame, but meh. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...icturez134.jpg My room! It's cool. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...icturez132.jpg These are my stairs to the lower floor (As seen in Picture #2). |
Damn, your room doesn't have shit on the floor. :D Also, your whole computater area is black! Sweet.
And that's your signature on the computer screen, isn't it? Now I have to guess the post. EDIT: Ooh! Is it the 'What Do You Look Like' thread, your most recent post? God, I'm a geek. |

No I don't get it. What's the joke? :
You'll have to excuse my lack of knowledge when it comes to not realising what "buffalo wing" means though... or perhaps being aware that winged buffalo exist? |
:
:
It's a terribly segregated city, unfortunately. Sometimes it's even cut up by blocks. One asian, one black, one Hispanic, all consecutively. Then the whites have two entire sides of the city. It's pretty bad. And I have about 15 black kids at my school. Out of 800. It's a shame. :
:p It must be an America only thing. Do you know what a chicken wing is? It's basically a deep-fried chicken leg or wing (Duh) with some kind of sauce on it. A buffalo wing (which was invented at a restaurant in Buffalo called the Anchor Bar) was a chicken wing dipped in hot sauce, and it became incredibly popular. So, yeah. That's what my town has to offer. I prefer BBQ chicken wings, but meh. Oh, and Ithaca's a total stoner colony. I might go there for college. :p |
Why the heck else do you think I like Ithaca? Because it has nice views?
And you still haven't told me what the tree joke is. If you don't tell me what that means, then I shall have to hate you up the ass. \o/ |

Tree = Slang for weed. Get it? You'd better. It's hysterical. |

Ahem... so what does your house look like?!?! |
:
There is no second floor above the kitchen/ dining room so there is a flat roof outside my window. |
Hmmm.... I was just going to take some more pictures of my house, but I have dicovered that my digital camera is somehow broken. Which sucks.
Anyway, try to imagine this, as it was the picture I was planning on taking: A very large (for the city) backyard, about 50 yards long and 20 wide. It's all parched and yellow, but there's a huge pumpkin patch growing in our little garden. It's also insanely hot out. Yup. So I'll try to fix my camera and take some more pix. |
I took a few pictures of the naturey stuff in my yard. Enjoy. (Kind of big, sorry.)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4.../.PinkTree.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...mbi/.Yard2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4.../.8a699fc2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4.../.shrooms2.jpg And this small trail leads to my favorite area into the woods: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...bi/.Woods2.jpg |
Sweet!
Those flowers are beautiful and the mushrooms look magically delicious. :D I wish I had woods behind my house.... I just have a zoo. |
I didn't realise that anyone else actually referred to cannabis plants as "trees"... I thought I was one of the only few that did. :D
Well yes in that case, I'd certainly bring the tree. We could have a tree convention, in which we have a tree bonfire. |

Yeah, like I said, lovely lot, but the house is el crapo, but probably the nicest house I've ever lived in. I forgot to mention how much I liked the colorfulness of your walls, Kimon.
I also forgot to say your view is beautiful, Super Munch. I used to live by a lake, surrounded by mountains... I miss the view, but not the smell. 'Twas a cow farm. |
those shrooms look delicious...mmm
My house is pretty huge (3000+ sq ft) but everything is so open you can hear whats going on in the basement on the other side of the house and on the top floor (my house has...3 floors if you count the basement, it opens to the backyard) Today's keyword is never! |
Mmm... revival. :p
Anyway, I got my digital camera working, and I'm also still interested to what other folks' houses' look like. So I figured I'd bring this sucker back. Anyway, the tour of the downstairs starts in my TV Room. Then we take a right and see the fabulous Living Room. Also, more Living Room, along with some of my front yard and street (It's dark and rainy, so hard to see stuff). Anyway, then we take another right and see the Dining Room, which I almost never dine in. We then go through the Dining Room to the Breakfast Room and Kitchen. Finally, we arrive at My Dog. Well, that's the tour of my immensely boring and old-fashioned house. I hope for both my entertainment's and this thread's sake that your houses are more interesting. :) |
I have a few. The first is just a general area near where I live.
The second is a purdy picture of my desk, and a little of the surrounding wonderfulness of my messy room. Alcar... |
Wowzers. Sydney is vaguely remeniscent of Northern Califonia. Tre cool. :)
I wish I could see your other rooms, though. The one indoor picture that worked fascinates me. Cluttered, but very rustic looking. It kind of reminds me of Bilbo Baggins' house in the first LOTR film. Sweet. :D |
Don't be so hard on your house Kimon. Nothing brings the morning breakfast feeling than a good slice of old New Yorkian abode! :lick:
|
Got new batteries for the camera!
This a shot of the stairs leading down to the second floor. I just like it because I like the banisters, and the fact that you can peer into the lounge room. This a picture of the rumpus room, which is basically where I live while in the house. This is a shot of the kitchen! Wow! Yay! And this, ladies and gentlemen is part of my backyard. There's more around to the left and rear, but this is the best part. Alcar... |
Wow, Alcar... I love your house, it's so fantastic. ^_^
My town is on the coast [although I actually live a few miles away in the middle of good ol' English countryside]. This is an image from one of the bays [the south bay], as there's a northbay and a south bay. My Town This is halfway to the north bay, it's filled with cars, but if the photographer had gone down the road a bit more there's a huge beach stretching for miles. The north bay I'll take some photos of my house when the camera is charged. - Rexy |
