Haha! I would wet my loincloth if I was Abe and had to stare down a Scrab like that! Knowing at any second it could lash out and gouge you... O_O

A while ago on AO, just before entering the Mosiac Lines, I possessed a Scrab. But it just stood there shreiking. Possesing in a metaphorical sense, of course... You couldn't posses Scrabs until AE. But I guess Abe froze in his chanting state.
On SW, just after firing my first upgraded Stunkz bomb, the game froz while all of the enemies were stuck together. But my entire game froze, so really it was just a laser cd glitch... >:( |

I've had something happen a few times in the Scrabian Temple, there's one level where there's a scrab on one screen, another scrab on the next screen, and a wall between them. I would sometimes go down below the first scrab, then climb back up and just catch a glimpse of it walking through the wall to the other screen.
Then, when I went underneath the two and climbed up on the second screen, the first scrab would be stuck in the wall, the two scrabs would do their battle screams or whatever, then the second scrab would run over and kill the first one, getting itself stuck in the wall. Certainly made that path a lot easier! :D |

Yes, my laser cd thinglags on each cutscene now... >:( "TA-TA-TA-TA-TAKE them pa-pa-pa-pa-pants off!" On MO on GBA, there is a certain wall which is non existent for a peroid of time. Place Abe on the platform (I forgot which level, I'll post if I remeber.), and make Munch move it to the end of the path. For some reason, Abe cannot move anymore :fuzconf: |
I haven't had that many weird things happen in Oddworld games, but sligs always got stuck in walls in MO.

GLITCH!
Well, I was playing SW, and I was knocking Clakkerz into the water in New Yolk City, when three did not swim back to shore; they just kind of floated around in the water. One of them kept bumping into one, creating a strange and loud "jackhammering" noise. When I pushed the one who was bumping into the other, he blasted off into the air some thirty feet and landed back on land some ways away. It was quite bizarre...
In MO Munch kept falling through the floor and my Mudokons blasted off into space a few times. I also got a glitch when a Slig looked like he was dancing and an Intern who kept making those "boing" noises when he walked. In a whole three levels in MO Abe sounded like he was in a cave (which he was not). |
I'm not sure if i had a glich but this might be 1:
I was playing MO and i was in that place called splinterz or somthing and when you go down that ladder there's a BBS and i woke him up.Suddenly he had his upper body leaning sideways and he could triple the speed he was able to go. Did this happen to anybody? :compmad: |
:
yeah that happened to me before thats why i kept munch on the top but I don't think its fair that he can run fast |
Posess
And if u posess him it doesn't work! :compmad: :banghead: :nonono:
|
There was a BBS earlier on in Splinterz that got stuck like that after I'd posessed him. I eventually got him to stand up straight, since he was making MY back sore just looking at him...

I don't know if this goes here or not (Mods, move if need be) but I found out that you can take Eugenius one-third of the way to New Yolk City.
Hokay, when he opens the gate, knock him in (Chippunks don't lure him at all). Then make sure he's all the way in the gate and go in with him. If you do it right, the gate'll close before he can leave. Then it's just a matter of punching him through the cave (he won't walk by himself). The trickiest part I've found was getting him over the logs and up on a ledge, but once he's on the log you just punch him up to the top. Boombats also come in handy, especially when you get to the waterfall upward path with the gaps. Well-placed Boombats act like rockets and send him flying across. You can't take him all the way with you, because there's a rope you have to cross and he can't. But it's kind of fun, mostly if you want to beat up those poor, stupid Clakkers. :D |

I think that's how I got him to stand up straight, too. It only happened that one time, so I'm not entirely sure.
Edit: My 20th post and it only took a little over three years. |
