Rubbish. More than 50% of Australia's population is at least partially decended from people who immigrated since WWII.

Ok.

At my school we have blacks, whites, asians, italians, germans... tons of different peoples, heck, we have a teacher from NZ. Most populous are Whites and Indians.

Well I can say that the best food around is from mostly German, Polish, Italian, etc etc.

German, Polish - good food? Not a reputation I've ever heard before.

My Polish grandmother couldn't cook at all (not that that stopped her trying) whilst my Hungarian grandmother was fantastic. I don't know if that goes for all the Poles, or just her. But let's not let this thread degenerate to another 'fave food' thread.

My mother has ancestors (great-great-great-grandparents:D ) in Hungary (aristocrats) and France . :) So I'm a bit French and Hungarian...where my father come from..i don't know.. I guess, his family was absolute German..i don't know..
I think, I'm 95 % German ;)
