Your right, they are very tall, even compared to Abe. I don't why it sounds wrong to me. :fuzconf:

Why is the height wrong?

Judging from this picture... if the average mud is 6', then the average Vykker is ~8'. That would make Stranger over 8'.

Inconsistancy....Just kidding! :p but really, how are we supposed to know how tall they really are because in that last pic the Big Bro Slig is much taller than all of the other characters when that pic from the manual shows that Big Bros are shorter than the Glukkons, Interns and Vykkers.

Well,it all matters one what game size you put it on,like if you play Munch's Oddysee,you can tell the Glukkons are taller than the Big Bro Sligs,well in my opinion I think that.

It's important that I get the heights just about right for my odd fic... coz the last thing I would want is people saying "no that's wrong"

The way the cameras are in the game make it hard to tell heights it makes everyone look like they would be so tiny.

but we never do see how tall stranger is after cough some thing happens because after that he loses some height.

Muluck the Glukkon is so huge.

Holy goddess! How tall is Muluck?!

Wow! It looks like he's close to 9 1/2 feet!

I know this is ages ago but when I last watched the cut-scene where Abe was chained up and Muluck came in and watching from the side veiw it shows that Muluck's head was above Abe's head which would mean he could be 6'7ft or even 7ft *shrugs*

It's like I've said before, inconsistency! :p Just kidding, but it's hard to tell, but I'm going to go by those charts for their height. ;)

I'd like to think so-if that's what the charts say, then I guess it's right. Maybe? =/ And Angel Fox, I know what you mean. I saw that last video of AO too and it did look like Molluck was taller than Abe, but not THAT much-not around 3 feet taller. =/

Yep coz if you look carefully even though you've got a split second to look...
on the good ending of much's odd on the left hand side of the door just before lulu comes in you'll see a vykker and a glukkon chatting away... and surprisingly the glukkon is around one or two feet taller then the vykker which would mean the glukkon could be 7 or 8ft tall and maybe Stranger could be that height too.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Glukkons and even Stranger look tall, but no taller than 8 feet to me. Maybe that chart has an error in it. (for Mullock, anyway. The rest of the characters in it look their normal size/height.)

You're writing a 'story' that involves humans and Oddworld characters meeting and you're worrying about people saying that you got height wrong?

Pretty much yes...

It's true that put like that... it's not realy important to know the exact height.

I don't think that was Minion of Cthulhu's point. The idea of mixing Oddworld characters and humans is vile in my books too, but I still believe the best fanfic ever written is Only Hyoo-Mun, where just such a thing happens.

Not that I've read any fanfics in the last few years.
