Hmmm... AO and AE on Xbox could be good, but I personally don't really care (partly because I have those two games on PC:D). But, this was asked at the Dear Alf section on www.oddworld.com and here's Alf's reply:

"...you want to play the other games on Xbox? This is the most refreshing thing I have heard of since Mango Iced Tea! It would be great to move AO and AE over to Xbox. Of course that would be enough work for an entire development team and would probably take a few years.... If we did it the fans might get angry at us for not moving forward, after all, we are but a tiny little development studio.... but if MICROSOFT did it... hmmmmm......."

Maybe, maybe not, but I should think it would take a bit of work to convert the games from ps1 format to xbox format. I mean, it's probably sort of like programming for Windows, then making another version that is compatible with Linux (again, I'm not sure).

If a publisher thought there was a market they would probably hire an outside studio to do it (which is what I assume Alf meant in that quote) just like EA hired someone else to do the SW PS2 conversion.

But, as I said before, they don't have the rights and there isn't enough of a market. If there was, don't you think they would start off with a PC rerelease?

So Stranger Wriath is being ported to the PS2??

Not many takers on the idea of Abe Oddysee and Abe Exoddus(dont use abbreviations- Super Munch) on the next generation of handheld (I don't see how 2 screen, one being touch is not going to make the game better...).

So most people here would want the first 2 games on the X-Box as either:

1.People missed on them, but got into Munch Oddysee and Stranger EDIT:Wrath

2.Want a update version with higher resolutions and no loading times, if possible new stuff, plus Sligstorm.

But OWI need another company to do the port as they are too small(and very busy)

And as Nate_Dog_Woof said, So, I guess the idea would be nice, but it doesn't really seem likely, or possible.

And to be on topic, as NDW has said, the PSP probably couldn't handle handle the resoloution of AO and AE's backgrounds. Perhaps simplified graphics, but that would make the game less beautiful.

I don't think that's so true, I just want them on xbox cause my ps1 broke a long time ago and having the games on xbox would be more convienent.

Hmmm... Abe games for Xbox.. That would be great. MD is a bad ass game. Stranger looks great but i havent played it yet cause there all out when i go and buy a copy.
