I loved the AO manual and for some reason the second hand AE game I got didn't have a manual. very surprising :D but I can't believe it isn't in color
The manual doesn't sound too good but I'm sure the game will make up for it (this is OWI we're talking about).

This may be a little off-topic. I got UK Gamesmaster mag review, and it shows that the box art is orange, not white.

Hmmh... We'll, thats EA and their politics 'bout satisfied Khanzumerz, ye know? :D
Yeah, they have worst politics in the world of game-developers... Only Money, money and money....
The USA is the white one, europe is orange.

For me, the Abe's Oddysee manual caries just as much mystery and intrigue as the game, and there'll always be a special place in my heart for that. I mourn for the days were Oddworld seemed big, nasty, unfamiliar, and utterly, utterly strange. I knew nothing about it, and I loved it.
Plus the AE manual uses something worrying similar to Comic Sans… |
Truth be told, I bought AO as a platinum edition so I only got a black and white manual on normal paper (ie not glossy) so I can't really compare.
I have AO on Psx and I love his manual :)
I have the the platinium AO, and it's colour, all the oddwolrd books except SW, I have are coloured.
With the abe games, are the PS and PC versions of the manual significantly different?
My ones are for the PS1. I havn't seen the PC ones.
Yes, yes they are PC one is quite different than the PS one for example, for the PS one, the enviroment pages took up one page each for each enviroment, but the PC one, there are like 2 for 1 page.
