sligster 08-12-2004 10:18 PM

If it's a boy, then we have John.
If it's a girl, then we have Miranda.

of course I'm not being seriouse, because I'm just saying it cause they relate to Halo....

Oddsville 08-13-2004 03:11 AM

Quit spamming Brew Master, this must be like the 6th thread I've seen where you contribute abosolutly nothing to the conversation. Its annoying.

Jacob 08-13-2004 10:02 AM

'What actually is your name Jacob?'

Didn't you read my post? Do you think you are better than my posts and thus ignore them? Jesus, you are lam-e-o.

Other names - Jacob, Izekial, Ethan, Evan, Adrian.

Hmmm, i think J.J.Jameson is amazing in the films, but not so good in the comics/cartoon.

oddguy 08-13-2004 10:14 AM

I have a character in a short story of mine named Willen. I like it.

I never plan on having Children. And i'll marry to a Woman who also doesnt want Children.

I have 2 Brothers, they can carry on the family.

oddguy 08-13-2004 10:25 AM

I know if I raised children, I wouldn't allow them to be brats. I grew up knowing perfectly well that I couldn't get whatever I wanted. I see some kids today and parents will give them whatever they want just to shut them up.

You do not want my friend to see this thread, it would be filled up with a big long list. She talks about it alot. (After a while i switch to selective hearing) I don't think it matters because she will probabley change her mind when she's older. Her mum is pregnant at the moment and she suggests a few strange names. As for me I don't know, Girl: Paige Boy: Nate or something like that.

Nate 08-15-2004 01:06 PM

errr... I thought you were saying you wanted to name your daughter "Page Boy". That would have got her teased. Oddguy, everyone says that before they have kids but it never really happens like they planned. Its safer overall just not to have kids really.

Jacob are you trying to say your name is Jessica. Good thing I've heard your name before so I know thats rubbish. I just don't remember now what your name actually is.

Lucipher 08-17-2004 07:49 AM

I should name him...Solid SAS Hardasnails.

Yeah...........

Rex Tirano 08-17-2004 11:54 AM

*giggles at the silly thread*

I want kids but I havn't thought up any names. But at the moment I like the names Miaka (Mia for short) and Charlie. Give it a month and I won't like them any more.

Yeah... *bumbles off

Nate 08-17-2004 12:48 PM

I had a friend who had a huge fight with her boyfriend because he couldn't beleive she wanted to name their (hypothetical) first son Oliver.

Capri 08-18-2004 10:15 AM

Capri's Kids (Scary thought)

I just want one daughter to curropt beyond imagination. But with my luck, I'll get a boy and a girl or two boys (I just don't really want a boy). Now my favorite names:

Girl: Mina, Isabella, Jullisa, Esmerelda, Belinda
Boy: Vincent, Victor, Skye, Angelo, Armando

Nate 08-18-2004 01:00 PM

When my old next-door neighbour got pregnant they came up with a perfect name for a son but couldn't come up with a girl's name. Of course fate intervened and they had a girl. After she was born they came up with the name Elisheva. They had some difficulty getting pregnant so it was three years (almost exactly) before they had another girl. Once again she was already born before they decided on Avital. Same again for Dalia and Aviva (all three years apart - to the extent of birthdays in the same month). Then 18 months later she became pregnant when they weren't even trying and - finally - had a boy who they could give their special, wonderful name; Jonathan.

Personally I don't get it.

Majic 08-18-2004 01:39 PM

I want a son. And I would preferably name him Luke. Nyah. And if it's a daughter? Then I don't much care, the mother can name her what she likes.

Cruelty to the daughters they really didn't want!!!! :D

Nate 08-19-2004 04:49 PM

no, they're actually quite nice names if you go in for the hebrew thing.

ClaireBear 08-19-2004 09:20 PM

Oh... they're traditional Hebrew?

Then my point is proven... it could be considered cruel if either of their daughters abandon their faith or perhaps move in social circles with a majority of gentiles... where those names just seem "hippyish and made up" and sadly people who's names are either spelt "originally" (meaning incorrectly) or "way out" from the norm are never quite accepted as being "equal".

The name Jonathan (although may have Hebrew origins? Yes? No?) works well in any social circle... another factor to consider when naming your first born!... no?

What was your point in posting the comment of go figure Nate if you weren't expecting a joke (which is what it was) in response?

*CB stands back and watches Nate jump off into the deep end*

Fuzzles! 08-20-2004 04:51 AM

Girl: Grace, Emma
Boy: Aydan, Jacob, Ethan

Pretty boring names I guess ;)

Silversnow 08-21-2004 12:44 PM

I have for some reasons always loved the names Leo and Sam for boys. But I can't think of anyone special for a girl.

Nate 08-22-2004 01:37 PM

I meant the go figure in that I didn't understand why Jonathan was so unique and special after they had 'different' names for all their girls.

Over the weekend I remembered my other favourite boy's name: Pascal. It has a nice ring to it and the geek in me loves the idea of naming a child after a programming language.

spacemarinehunter 08-29-2004 02:27 AM

i would my son after me Aaron, a daughter, oooooh, if i have im gonna **** her in the river!!!! jokin' sorry, but im not planning on havin kids

Jacob 08-29-2004 03:04 AM

You're going to have intercourse with her...in the river. Erm...okay.

Picasso is a nice name. Ummm - Saffire as well. And Destiny. And flummox.

Nate 09-06-2004 12:39 PM

hahahahaha.

I don't get it.

Jacob, I'm trying to remember; is flummox a quote from hitchikers guide (one of the dictionary words that only apply to talking mattresses)?

Jacob 09-06-2004 02:42 PM

I dunno...it's one of the first words that came to me.
