OANST 11-01-2010 11:34 AM

That was such a great album.

Mr. Bungle 11-01-2010 11:47 AM

It still is, is it not?

OANST 11-01-2010 11:49 AM

Shut up, bitch.

I could never get into Mars Volta or Sparta in the same way that I did At The Drive In.

ziggy 11-01-2010 12:02 PM

I remember reading something about the Mars Volta on the internet in a list of the top 10 unintentionally funny albums of 2008 or whatever year. The article described them as the musical equivalent of the smart ass know-it-all kid in class who won't shut up.

Mr. Bungle 11-01-2010 12:05 PM

That sounds about right. I don't like Volta either, but Relationship of Command is great.

This shit is music to destroy everything to:

Disturbing video, but a great song.

OANST 11-02-2010 07:06 AM

Heh. He said "great song" while talking about Korn. He's stupid.

Dynamithix 11-02-2010 07:16 AM

I like it.

I am working on a short film and trying to create a simple ambient track. so here's a clip. what do you think? like I said it's simple and I am no musician, I only try to catch a melancholic dark mood. image is similar to the background of the film.

It's okay. We all do things that we'll be embarrassed about in the future.

Hazel-Rah 11-02-2010 08:34 AM

I don't know, I really like KoRn.

OANST 11-02-2010 09:43 AM

I'm sorry.

Hazel-Rah 11-02-2010 11:38 AM

Did Korn ever do any cover music? For some reason I think I remember liking a cover song they did once, but I might be thinking of Limp Bizkit

OANST 11-02-2010 11:56 AM

What was the question again? I couldn't hear you over the sound of me slitting my wrists.

Hazel-Rah 11-02-2010 12:08 PM

Nah, I agree they both suck. But it was Limp Bizkit who did that cover of Behind Blue Eyes by Th Who that I liked btw, I might have to Avast Ye Matey! it.

Mr. Bungle 11-02-2010 12:13 PM

Korn did a cover of that Word Up! song. I don't know who did it originally, but I know they covered it.

I feel dirty for knowing that.

OANST 11-02-2010 12:16 PM

De-na De-na-ne-ne-ne-ne-ne-ah De-na De-na-ne-ne-ne-ne-ne-ah

Ra-cha-cha-cha GO!

Pew Pew Pew-pew

I wrote a Korn song.

They did do a cover of Behind Blue Eyes, it's dreadful.

OANST 11-02-2010 12:35 PM

Penis hurts, daddy was a, daddy had a, penis hurts, I have feelings, children come with me, my van is dark, penis hurts, daddy, daddy, daddy, how angry should I sound, sell anger to children, they're stupid, they'll buy it, daddy, daddy.

There. I wrote the lyrics, too.

Dynamithix 11-02-2010 12:46 PM

Go listen to your Beefhunter or whatever it was...

OANST 11-02-2010 12:49 PM

Good idea.

Mr. Bungle 11-02-2010 05:24 PM

Amazing album.

for constructive criticism: the notes you pick are alright, though i would probably encourage maybe some off notes bending to diatonic notes to get that sort of deconstructed, dissonant look of the image. also, in terms of effects, i assume you've only really used reverb/eq, i would suggest perhaps a bit of crunchy overdrive, or a separate track with some crunchy sounds of vinyl scratching again to fit the atmosphere of the image. the kind of scratchy sounds on top of this.

keep it up and make more music!

MeechMunchie 11-03-2010 12:47 AM

Leto's being helpful. Something's wrong.

scrabface 11-03-2010 04:21 AM

wow Leto thanks for your constructive critic. I'll heed your advice.

Kimon 11-03-2010 09:38 AM

Also, not for the video but the song is goddamn great

My mom used to LOVE KoRn. I'm dead serious.

And so I DON'T DOUBLE POSTTT I'm gonna mention I've been having nostalgic moments listening to Nirvana. If you don't like Nirvana you suck.
