Paranormal Activity. It fucking sucked.

Just watched Sintel.
WARNING: actually DON'T read this spoilered stuff if you haven't seen it. Oh my god. That is just terrible. Pretty good animation though. |
I dont see how something being terrible ruins a movie.
|
It won't if you haven't seen any of it, but once you've seen the first half of it it will. Also, if anyone wants to see it, http://www.sintel.org/wp-content/content/download.html .
|
I saw Let Me In last night. It was surprisingly very good. It wasn't as good as Let The Right One In, but it was damn close.
|
Star Wars Clone Wars...it made The Ewok Adventures look like Citizen Kane.
|
I just saw Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and I fucking loved it. All those videogame references made me happy. I hate Michael Cera 75% less now.
|
That's why I wanted to see it, I don't give a crap about Mike Cera I just heard there were early 90's video game references in it, that's a good enough reason for me.

I liked it.
=( |
You're entitled to like it. I like plenty of things that I know are terrible and or dumb. I don't expect someone who likes cutesy anime to have super-great taste in horror movies, and I mean that in the nicest way, for real.
|
I can think of like four other horror movies I've ever watched.
I fucking loved Poltergeist Blair Witch Project bored me The Grudge bored me I liked The Ring, but not a huge amount. |
You know what's a great horror movie? The Thing. Not the original, but the 1982 remake. It's fucking great, I've seen it 7 times. 2 times on TV, 2 times on VHS and 3 times on DVD. I still don't own it somehow.
Fucking hell, I need to go buy it. Also a good long horror movie is IT. Scary ass Pennywise. (The clown.) |
The original The Thing is plenty good.
|
I'll always remember Deliverence. I enjoyed it all, but the highlight for me was the scene with the banjo and the guitar. My brother played banjo at the time, so we had a great laugh trying to play it together. Trouble is, my brother's shit at banjo, and I'n shit at guitar, so we always fucked up.

I think he meant this one.
|
The Thing was great but the game adaption was horrid. It was like Half Life and Resident Evil had a mistake of a child.

I, myself, haven't seen the original for more than 20 minutes and it seemed good. I have to look it up soon...
Also, on-topic; I just saw Sintel and I thought it was good... at the beginning. The end is just stupid and doesn't make sense. It does have pretty visuals tho'. |

Has anyone ever seen Alien 3000? It was so unintentionally funny.
|
The whole movie's been uploaded to YouTube, you guys should check it out. |
I own it.

I just saw Hierro, some stupid thriller about an island, a woman and a child. It looked good, the cover says "from the makers of Pan's Labyrinth and Orphanage." Bullshit it was, the movie fucking sucked. I'm going to spoil it to all of you just so you'll never have to see it:
The story is so fucking unoriginal, there's this woman driving around and she crashes with her son. The woman wakes up early tomorrow and son isn't there. Then the real plot begins. Another woman and her sister are on a fucking boat or some shit. Both of them have a child. The main character's child disappears when they're going to some fucking island. Then she desperately stays in the island for like a week trying to find that fucking bastard child. It appears that the child was fucking drowned or some shit like that, and she says it's not her fucking child. What a fucktard! And then she keeps looking and looking until she finds some other fucking child, which isn't fucking her's. So she takes that fucking child, and tries to escape the fucking island, but at the end, she finds out that the fucking kid she checked if it's her son, WAS her son. Fucking original. And then she's taken to a mental hospital or some fucking stupid shit like that, and finally the movie fucking ends. Fuck, it was stupid. Fuckin' fuck fuck... |
Cool, sounds like a good film.
