Maybe it's some kind of trading law, but in England all stores I've seen, independant or not buy your games for half the price they sell them on.

I won't sell my used games, and I won't buy used games. I want to deplete their new inventory so that they have to order more from their distributor. If I like something, I want the people that made it to get my money.
