Anni followed Hembar out into the lab and listened to her question, expecting the same answer he had given her. She noticed that the lift in the corner was down so she walked over and pulled the lever to raise it up to the lab, in case they had to make a quick exit.


ooc: Now I'm just waiting for Mars to answer Hembar. That's about all that's happening, really.

Mars

IC: Mars meekly followed Anni and Hember out and Hember locked the door. Suddenly a blue slig dove under the door as it closed. Mars knew this could be important. In a flash he trailed the slig under. He then dove to a corner when inside the room. The blue slig said something but Mars wasn't paying attention. He was biting his lip, clutching his leg from the dives. Give the kid a break, it STINGS!

OOC: Once again I have no idea what's supposed to be happening. As far as I'm aware, Anni, Hembar, and Mars were in the room with the cages (which is a seperate room according to da map), then they left that room, closing the door behind them so they are now in the main room of the lab. Then Hembar went and closed that door, so if Ackro got through any door it would've been that one, which would mean he's now in the room with the three mudokons not the room with Tok.

Ok, everyone seems to be confused about what's going on, so I have decided to show my thoughts on the situation:

Characters:

Flad:
Outside the lab trying to open the door.

Ackro:
Outside the lab with Flad (If Ackro really has left I suppose he can just wonder off somewhere.)

Tok:
Lab cell, locked up (if it's Mars's cage it should be easy to break out of.)

Mars:
Lab, talking to Hembar.

Anni:
The lab, finished locking the doors and calling the lift

Hembar:
The lab, same as Anni.

I know Dripik's character is there but he hasn't done anything as far as I know.

The only solution I can think of is:
Anni and Hembar escape through the lift. Then Flad unlocks the lab and cell doors. Flad and Ackro rescue Tok and go to report Mars's escape, as this happens Mars meets up with Anni and Hembar.

What does everybody think to that?

I would post IC but Flad has nothing new to do so he's still trying to open the door.

I CAN DO BETTER

Tok whips off his mask and throws it through the bars at his still-hovering pants. It gets tangled in the mechanism and the pants whizz off around the room before crashing into the cell. Tok reaches through, picks them up and disentangles it. He uses the whizzing rotor to slice through the rusty bars, then he climbs into his pants and zooms away!

Hurrah for Tok!

ooc: Ok, simple answer; Tok just broke out of his cage and is now locked in the cage room.
Anni, Hembar and Mars are in the main labs room, waiting for Mars to answer Hembar's very simple question. Please, let's have a conversation that doesn't end in kung fu ninja battle.
Ackro has left, so his action of entering the lab is being ignored.

OOC: Just think of a hilarious and convenient way for your character to die, get lost, knocked out a window, or some other event that means he won't be coming back for a while. I'm not entirely sure what's going on either, so I'll just pick a really inappropriate time for Crunchy to run into somebodie's way.

Ooc: I could say the same thing to you, if I were a butthead.

Akro, I've tried to be nice to you, I really have. But you are walking a very fine line with this spamming and insulting other members. You have to get it into your head that we are not all out to get you. You need to accept criticism here the same way you do in real life. This is getting out of hand. If you spam or insult others again, you will be getting an infraction.

IC:
Flad was busy trying to open the lab door. Suddenly Ackro shoved Flad out of the way causing him to bang against the door, "Great, now anyone in there is going to know i'm coming." Flad thought and looked up at Ackro who was walking towards R+R, mumbling to himself. Flad was about to go after Ackro when he heard a muffled crash from the lab. "What's going on in there?" Flad thought, suddenly another thought occurred to him; "Odd, what if that native's escaped?!" Flad started to type more vigorously on the console in an attempt to open the door faster.

Tok is alone in the lab cage room. Flad is outside the la. Ackro has ceased to be.

Okay. Okay. So he's outside the lab... trying to get in? I think I see now...

Anyway I can't think of any realistic way to get out of this cage, so either wait until somebody rescues me or, if that doesn't happen for a month, make a new character.

ooc: Yeah, I'd undo that since Ackro is no longer a part of the RPG (plus his post made no sense) so going back to when Hembar asked you that question seems a good option :D

OOC: Splat said your post didn't make any sense because when there's a room with a locked door, which connects to another room with a door that was closing, it's kind of impossible to get through one door and end up in the second room without even a) seeing the people in the first room and b) getting through the second locked door. He wasn't insulting you (and neither am I), he was simply stating a fact.

You would do well to accept his advice - just because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean we all hate you. Don't take things so personally, if we tell you something's wrong in the RPG, it's to try to help you, it's not because we're deliberately singling you out and antagonising you.

I've never given you any negrep, but if you lash out at anyone who says anything against you that's probably where you're getting it from. And you'll probably find with a lot of the people here, you lashing out is exactly the reaction they're looking for - they say things to intentionally provoke you so if you get angry you're giving them satisfaction. So my advice is, if people are rude to you, don't take any notice of it (aka don't feed the trolls).

And in this part of the forum, if someone disagrees with you, it's to help you improve your roleplaying skills, not to insult or troll you. Mars is a good example of this (hope you don't mind, Mars :p), when he joined this RPG he got quite angry at us when we tried to give him advice, but now that he's learned we're just doing it to try to help he's become a much better RP'er. Granted he may not agree with everything we say, but it is possible to agree to disagree peaceably.

So if you want to leave, that's your choice, but if you want to stay we're not stopping you. Just listen to advice and remember that that's just what it is - advice not attacks.

If anyone wants to argue with me over this, or really if anyone has anything more to say on the matter, could we please keep it to PM's? This thread must have more OOC posts in it than IC ones by now...
