It’s just a still image seen in one of the spinning newspapers.
http://oddworldlibrary.net/archives/cinema/MO/ then either BIK/ (if you can play BIK files) or AVI/, followed by newspaper/perfect_quarma. |
Its actually on the black quarma one, I was looking everywhere on perfect quarma thinking I went crazy.
I was looking on the perfect quaram saying "Where is it? I don't see anything?!"
In Abe's Oddysee for PC isn't there shooting stars in the Stockyards? But not in the Ps1 version? |
I've never noticed any. It's been a while since I've played it, though.

I was playing AO the other day and was going through the Stockyards and Free-Fire Zone. I know that there are no Paramites in the Stockyards, but as I was playing I thought I heard the hissing of one. At first I thought it was a glitch or something, but as I played the game I destinctly heard the sounds that Paramites create through most of the level. Has anyone else ever found this or have I got something wrong with my hearing?
I hear them too. I think it's part of the background music, it adds beautiful ambience. :)
I've read posts about this before. I don't think it's a glitch.
Yeah I hear them too. ;)
Me and my twin were talking about this the other day and I was wondering....if Mudokons don't have noses then how come in AE they step back when Abe farts in their faces? |
They can smell with something else. They certainly have a sense of smell.
Well, wouldn't you walk away if someone farted in your face? :p

An interesting if improbable hypothesis. I shall go sketch the respiratory and olfactory systems.

What are baby Gabbits called again?
Gabbiwogs. This information is in a TOE article which is, coincidently, three clicks away from this page.
Why do Scrabs seem to have two sets of pectoral muscles when they don't have arms, let alone two sets of em?
They're probably over-developed abdominal muscles.
Probably most likely to do with the Shrykull, which does have two sets of 'arms', as well as giving the Scrab a look as a powerful creature from a game designing standpoint.
Perhaps they are vestigial remnants of prehistoric limbs, support the weight of the head, or house some sort of mega-testicle.

Is honey the only thing Elums eat?
:
I highly doubt it. Wouldn't last long, would they? Plus considering honey is essentially pure sugar and a couple other things...
Hummingbirds.
Dont forget small children!! No, but the AO Mannuel says the Elums love honey not that that's all they eat. Im pretty positive Elums eat a wide asortment of things.

This. Question. Is. Senseless.

Is Lulu a man or a woman?
Lulu's a man as are all Glukkons, the only exception is thier queen Maggie.
Is Lady Margret an oversized termite or a huge Glukkon wearing makeup?
I know there is a concept drawing of Margret but would this be the REAL Margret? |
She's a Glukkon queen. Wearing makeup.
I'd love to know what Skillya looks like. Multi-headed she-demon, or Cthulhu?
Lady Margaret is indeed a Glukkon, and indeed a female, as is any other Glukkon Queen. Skillya looks the same as any other Slig Queen.
Can anyone rip the sprites from Munche's Oddysee GBA version for me?
I want them for my Indiana Abe Comic. |
:
I was looking for a bit more than that but thanks anyway!

Maybe its because we've just seen factories and nature, while many industrial homes are probably either in the factories, or in the case of the Kahzumers, some distance away from the factory. Scrab cakes are always much tastier if you can't smell them being made.:p
Does anyone know if Stranger has a real name? I refuse to believe its "Steef"!:fuzmad: |
He’s an orphan who doesn’t know if he was ever given a real name and just goes by whatever people call him, whether that’s Stranger or Steef.
I think it's likely that he does have a name but he keeps it secret, either because it is Steef tradition to do so or because if anyone knew it, they would realise he was a Steef.
Wow Max the Mug, I love your avatar.
If Fleeches have a head at either end, where are their rears? Surely if they eat so much they've got to go to the toilet sometime? Or do they simply regurgitate the stuff they can't digest? |
