2nd question AO (remaked in my previous post) still not answered.
|
That was the only guard you can get by without whistling or cheats that I know of.
Not all mudokons can be killed. Many secret levels put them up where they cannot be harmed, others require Shrykull to get access to them, but to get Shrykull you need to save other mudokons first. Because of this, you only have to kill most of them to get the grenades (about 80). |

He never turned black.

On answer the question above, the muds die because you left them, and therefore they are harvested by the glucks for food.
And thanks for answering my questions. I didn't mean meetles there, I think there was a blurrey picture of one by a vedning machine, I found the info in a fan site somewhere, but it doesn't matter, thanks anyway. Another question, was Squeek confirmed to be the star of the third part of the quintoligy, and is there any infomation on him? I don't think so but it's worth a try. |
I gots me another question needed to be answered
In Abe's exoddus, during the bad ending Abe is tired to the *tear collecting thingy* and shocked so that he would cry, but oh no, they shock him too much and he dies....and turns into birds? In Abe's oddysee I was always under the impression that he turned into birds when he dies because the gameplay part of the game is just a memory of what has already happened (Cause at the start of the game Abe has already been captured and is telling the story which your playing), so when you *die* in the game, Abe doesn't really die at that point, so the birds represent Abe thinking back trying to remember what really happened (at least thats what I think). This would also explain why you get unlimited lives. But during the bad ending when Abe gets chopped up, he doesn't come back. Which brings me back to my question, why does Abe turn into birds at the end of Abe's exoddus? Even if im wrong about Abe dying in game play, what about the bad ending on Abe's Oddysee? He doesn't turn into birds then. While we are on the subject, what about Munch? Both Munch and Abe not once turn into birds in Munch's oddysee. The closest they get is their health being birds. Is it because the gameplay in that game isn't a memory? If anyone has an answer for this one i'll be very greatful. |

Wow, I never new that for both questions.
Learn something new everyday, thanks. I was wondering though, if Munch was Abe's accomplice, and to his cause, does that mean munch will not be featured, or be a main part anyway, and the whole of the quintoligy will revolve around Abe, with the new character linking in? Or would you play with, or would the story follow Munch, Abe and Squeek? And more as the story progesses? Thanks again. |
Okay okay, I gots another question. But before I ask it I would like to personally thank everyone who is taking the time to answer them, I only wish I could answer other peoples questions but I just don't know as much as most of your guys. So thank you "Max the Mug" and thank you "Mudling"
This question isn't so hard so I'll ask 2 First, in Munch's oddysee, when Munch is under the knife (both times) the vikers have a screen monitoring Munch's heart beat rate, lung breathing rate and......whats the last one? I first I thought it was that thing on Munch's butt, but my brother told me that its his brain thats being monitored (im guessing he's right) And seconedly, where do the fuzzles go when they go though the bird teleporters? From what i've seen in Stranger's wrath the fuzzels in the wild look pissed off...:fuzmad: |
Rayrock, as an answer to your second question, I'd say the fuzzles go to some sacred place like the Muds in AO or AE.
I think the fuzzles in Stranger's Wrath may be a different kind to the ones in MO. |
I have some geography queries. Which clakker towns are susceptible to flooding and/or being washed away by the released Mongo river? Buzzarton appears to be in a cannon (which are carved by rivers) though the flow may have left it long before then.
Also, does anyone know the name of the clakker town near Dusky Hollow? Is it just another part of New Yolk City? |

Firstly thanks again Max and everybody for answering my question and previous questions.
:
I agree with Jordan, but I say it would more likely teleport them to the mudokons sacred lands, and the muds or Bigface or someone would take care of them from there. I don't think fuzzles are quite as saphisticated to have a sacred land, and for the bird portals to recognise that, but it may of teleported them to a place they originally came from. And as stated the Fuzzles in SW are different, maybe even a different speacies, or just wild versions, and therefore look hairier. I think lorne stated something like that earlier. The speacies of Fuzzles are generally agresive. I was wondering, since SW takes place as the same time span as the quintoligy, would they affect each other, as major parts or as easter eggs, as part of Munch's journey was planned to take place on the Mongo river, would it of been orignially dired up, and then later filled so munch could travel up and deliver the Gabbier to Ma'Spa, as an example. |

|
No, it has gone unnamed, unfortunately. ‘Native Village’ is the best we’ve got. It can’t be Dusky Hollow as it’s in a separate game region. Dusky Hollow is essentially a loading level.

if not, what are the other two heros? Stranger? because I dont think that WILL happen. well, as for working together. if Stranger WAS the fourth or fifth hero, who would be the fourth or fifth hero (depending what number is stranger is)? :fuzconf: |
Hero #1: Abe
Hero #2: Munch Hero #3: Squeek Hero #4: Rumoured to be Nod or Forté but both are probably false Hero #5: Not known at all, though my personal theory is Molluck. |
Stranger has been stated not to be part of the quintoligy.
And Nate, is there a known source to the rumours of hero #4? and I like your theory for hero 5, I know lorne said he wanted a game which followed the industralists, and even planned a game, slig storm I believe following one, but didn't he state somewhere that the quintoligy wouldn't follow an industralist? I'm probably wrong, but a faint memory sprang to mind. Mollock would certaintly be a very interesting protaganist (expecialy if he ecounters Secto), makes me wonder, is it officially stated or shown that Molluck was blamed for the destruction of Rapture farms? Or was he sent to trail by Maggy because he failed to keep and kill abe? |
:
|
Molluck? Molluck? Mo---mo---molluck, molluck?!
THAT'S NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE :fuzmad: Play Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee Into and see for your self so you will know who the hell is Molluck. fyi, who is Nod and Forte? o_O |
:
But be warned: the Inhabitants all live on the Oddworld together, and as the story unfolds, characters you might overlook could prove really important in the big picture. As for Nod and Forté, we don't know. As I stated in my previous posts, they're probably just apocryphal anyway. |
i got more questions.
again, im too lazy to read topics that are OVER TEN PAGES. 1. Which one is more popular? AE DDCheat or AO DDCheat? 2. Who did the voicing for Abe? 3. Which one is CURRENTLY the lowest ranked known glukkon? (most likely to be Lulu unless Molluck since his RuptureFarms got shutten down. o.o;) 4. [AO DDCHEAT QUESTION] What does the brain state do? 5. DO A BARREL ROLL Which company is the most richest currently in Oddworld? |
1. Dunno.
2. Umm, someone who I'm not sure for AO, possibly lorne, and lorne for AE and MO. 3. Well, Mullock was a high ranked big cheese, but is now in hiding so he's nothing, lulu, if he escaped, is a hobbo or close to it and therefore is also pretty low, but probably lulu because Mollock would still have some respect for what he once had, and possible the mudokons who believed he shut down rapture farms. 5. Umm, not sure, Vykers labs because it is currently still running I guess, richest known one anyway. There also have all that moolah from the gabier in their bank accounts somewhere. |
:
2. It was Lorne. I believe he voiced a lot of other characters too. 3. I couldn't know. Probably Lulu. 4. I knew it once, but I forgot. 5. Possibly the Magog Cartel if you can count that as one. I'm not entirely sure. |
I gots yet another question,
Does anyone here play WoW? (World of warcraft) The reason I ask this in NOT to turn this topic into a WoW topic but because they used a sound clip from Oddworld - Abe's fart. If your playing as a male blood elf and type */silly* it will make him tell a joke, one of which is "The problem with these "Horde Characters" is that they lack sophisication" *Fart*. The sound clip they use for the fart is exactly the same sound clip from Abe's Oddysee/Exoddus, makes me wonder where the sound originally came from... |
No I don't but play it but are you sure? I mean isn't that copy right?
I'm sure it's possibly just a coinicdence. |
A lot of companies use the same or similar sounds in their cartoons/games.
If you hear a wolf growling or snarling, it'll be the same sound clip used over and over again. |
Or the Wilhelm scream. Very popular, that one.
|
Did any one notice how Abe's voice changed inbetween AO and AE. Lorne voiced Abe in AE and MO but I'd say somone else voiced him in AO.
|
No, they just altered the pitching they do to the voice recordings.
|
I've read that in AO, there was an un-credited voice alteration, which didn't happen in future games. Despite that, Lorne Lanning has done Abe for each game so far.
|
I wonder why it was uncredited?
But slaveless is right. |
1. For Abe's Exoddus and Oddysee, which program was made first? PC or PS1? because PS1 has better and more cheat codes than PC. o_O
2. What program was made first for the first game? (For example, PS1 or PC) 3. Which game has harder hazards (example: bats, bees, pits, etc.)? Abe's Oddysee or Abe's Exoddus? (I HOPE YOU SAY ODDYSEE BECAUSE THOSE GIANT SPIKE BALL THINGIES ARE TOO HARD TO AVOID >.<) 4. i've seen a video of abe's exoddus, and when the person started in the starting level, he started with a shrykul. how did the person get the shrykul in the beginning of the game? (don't answer if you didnt see the video or if you unsure what the answer would be. Question #5 will appear after #4 is answered in positive.) |

and um...what about question #4? >.>

I haven't seen it, but I'm assuming it just came to him whilst the camera was turned, and AbeX300, try an be a little more grateful. ;)

4. i've seen a video of abe's exoddus, and when the person started in the starting level, he started with a shrykul. how did the person get the shrykul in the beginning of the game? (don't answer if you didnt see the video or if you unsure what the answer would be. Question #5 will appear after #4 is answered in positive.)
this is wat i asked. please answer it. :fuzsad: |
Most likely some sort of cheat code. Or some sort of random program. I'm not going to be specific here...
|
counts as negative. question #5 will neva progress till someone answers positivly. :O
|
AbeX300, don’t tell people not to give you an answer if they don’t know the answer, and then complain when you don’t get an answer within a day. Stop being a dick. The Shrykull power will have come from the use of a trainer. Search the Forums for more information or, if you’re feeling adventurous, just download these and mess around with them:
