I thought I Am Legend was a pretty good movie, especially in the Subliminal hints to current occurrences on our Earth, the jolts I got from the very human creatures in the movie, and the way the movie jerked to and fro during the whole thing. A pretty good movie in my book.

I also just got the first two seasons of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. I love that show. It's just got a humor that is hard to not laugh at, though you might be ashamed to. I'm also watching that Pushing Daisies show too. Good shit, I gotta say.

Since people have been talking telly (count me in the Lost-is-fucking-awful camp, at least it was after the point where they murdered Ian Somerhalder, bastards): the Doctor Who Xmas Spesh was really wonderful. They basically made a '70s disaster movie, set it on the Titanic, in space, and added Kylie Minogue. Glorious!

Mmmm, initially I thought that the parents were the perpetrators. But I've since reversed that opinion. I believe they are the poor victims of a terrible tragedy - and it is a shame, the media have pounced, and now the majority of people believe that they've committed it themselves.

I'm quite certain, that without the intense media involvement, the McCann incident would not have developed such a negative following. It seems it is almost human instinct to now condemn anything that receives such media hype.

I just watched Requiem for a Dream. Not recommended to anyone easily grossed out.

I thought Requim for a Dream felt like a movie for teens who want to be alternative and watch something about drugs.

I'm pretty sure that song is called In The House In A Heartbeat by John Murphy (who made the sound track), if you're into that you should look into postrock/postmetal because that genre sounds pretty similar to that song. and for the record Godspeed You! Black Emperor have a ridiculous name, but not as annoying as Suffocate For Fuck Sake. SFFS is one of my favourite bands, but I can't stand saying their name, so I don't talk about them much

I've recently been watching and re-watching the old Blackadder series. They were indeed excellent. If you haven't seen them, they're certainly worth watching, the box set should be in any HMV. I got it over here for about £30.

You misunderstand me; I love Doctor Who and would leave my metaphorical shoes under David Tennant's metaphorical bed any day. I was referring to that one episode in particular, which everyone seemed to hate.

While there's definitely a "I like Darren Aronofsky flicks, so I am cool' factor, I really enjoyed Requiem. Then again, I wasted a large chunk of time using the drug the movie revolved around, so I could relate to a lot of the film and characters.

The book is orgasmic. Hubert Selby Jr. was way ahead of the curve when he wrote that.

I thought most of series two was the biggest waste of money the BBC had ever spent. I think series three was a massive improvment, and is the best series we've had. Yet I've often been told to shut the fuck up when it comes to that, because series two was the best yet.

I just watched the film/TV version of The Stand and it's depressingly inferior and untrue to the book in just about every single possible way although Flagg, admittedly, rocked and was oddly erotic. :( The two best Steven King movies are still The Green Mile and The Shawshank Redemption.

I agree that's a fantastic, witty episode, but for me 'Gridlock' is DW's finest hour. One of the most unusually structured 'stories' ever ever. Just stunning, gorgeous stuff. So weird, quirky, heart-warming.

I saw Little Miss Sunshine in the weekend. It was quite funny, and strange.

I found it extremely funny when their grandpa dies, and they then smuggle him out of the hospital through the window, then that cop pulls them over. lol, dead old man in yer trunk 'Its not Illegal!' bwhaha, that was funny! Even with their VW, how they all had to push it to make it go, and they keept on running over things cause they couldn't Stop XD

The Green Mile movie is but a pale imitation of the book, which itself is a pale imitation of what it should have been. It was wonderful when it was talking about life and times on death row but just turned silly every time things went mystical and magical. It would have been a far finer novel if he'd kept it in the real world, like with Shawshank.

The only redeeming part of The Shining is Jack Nicholson.

It rapes the book completely, some characters die when they shouldn't, whole plot devices are missed out and that woman (Jack's wife, can't think of her name) is generally terrifying to behold. I watched the movie before reading the book and I'd have to say the experience wasn't spoilt for me one bit because for all intents and purposes they are different stories. Stanley Kubrich even left out the little 'Rarr look at me I am Satan the manager of this hotel at the end

I liked it a lot. They really did an amazing job on the Bathtub/Bathroom scene.

The remake was a better movie with a lower quality of acting. Much like the two Dune movies.
