I see amazing stuff being made from removable leaf blocks. I have something neat in mind.

Uh, Wario...
Your place... Creepers... no arrows... blew up front door. Sorry XD Then 3 more Creepers showed up and I didn't want to do more damage so I locked myself in your guest room and it was ssooooo scary I'm sorry :( |
Well the shears are quite awesome - Sheep now yield up to four pieces of wool per animal (which is good because I now seem to find fewer of them. :S)
The updated cobble texture is nice but I sort of wish it was a little darker. It was good for adding variety to otherwise blank-grey structures. Like Rupture Farms. :( Ah well though. Gonna have a play with pistons when an update for INVedit comes out and try some experiments. Maybe I'll come up with some mechanisms for RF. Such as meat grinders! |

Thanks for doing your best to protect it though, no hard feelings. |
Second progress vid:
EDIT: For the record it's been mostly me doing the actual construction work on this, 'cept for a few parts of the frame that Dripik can take credit for - Him and many others have been incredibly helpful though by donating tons and tons of stone and clearing land for the project. Thanks all. :) This project serves as a testament to how much of a life I currently (don't) have. But at least it's creative. Sort of. Anyway, I've put up a credits board on the 3rd floor stating who's done what so far, which I'll move to a more obvious place once RF is finally finished (if it gets that far, lol) - Please let me know if I've missed anyone or if anything's inaccurate: http://www.oddworldforums.net/attach...1&d=1309505457 |
Hey, you missed a spot! (Kidding)
Looks great; progressing well. I had an adventure yesterday. I was planning the finishing touches to Barad Splat Dur when Wariopunk invited me to come and help him explore a cavern. Along I went, and evnetually found myself near bedrock in a cavern with large pillars of lava beneath dark, unexplored cave-mouths. I went towards one of these giant cave-mouths where I could hear zombies, and ended up edging along between a pool of lava and a wall one block thick. Unknown to me, Wario was on the other side of this wall, and was making a friend. I heard a hiss and had no idea I was one block away from the creeper. The explosion knocked me down to two hearts and threw me into the air, above this lava lake, and then I landed safely on the other side. Before I could celebrate however, the zombie I'd been stalking sneaked up behind me and gave me a friendly slap on the back. That mine owes me a diamond sword. Also, I lost my fully explored map :fuzsad: I respawned back at my Lair after dark, and while Wario recovered those of my possessions which had survived the lava, I climbed my forest tower and await the dawn. Where, surveying my small stretch of woodland I beheld an incredible sight... Which for some reason the screenshot hasn't saved... But it was a Pinku Sheep! (*Angelic choir*) Unfortunately it was night and a lot of nasties were walking around so I couldn't approach. by the time dawn came I could count no less than 8 creepers wandering around outside my sanctuary so I couldn't get close. By the time I escaped, it (and, to be fair, the creepers) had been encouraged to despawn. |
I donated about 512 coble to RF. I also have several hundred I could donate in a chest at home. I'm currently performing major renovations right now (as anyone that stops by my house will see) so I'll try to calculate how much I can donate tomorrow.

For god sake be careful, self activating piston setups like this can destroy a server... It's like dividing by zero. |
Be sure to make back ups D:
In other news, I've made a 'slime cavern' of sorts behind Rupture Farms (or in front of it if you view the Glukkon symbol as the front of the building) Slime (and only slime) will occasionally spawn down there, and everyone's welcome to go farm them some slimeballs. Be aware that sometimes slime gets to be as big as 3x3x3 (I think; I was too busy running in fear to be certain) and these huge mo'fudgers pack a punch to the average unarmored Minecrafter. |
1.7.2 is released. Again don't update client until server has been updated.

No because it crashes the server for some reason and according to various sources stops the world from being able to load. So yes, dividing by zero :tard:
|
:
Havoc: Infinite loops can also crash computers if they overload them. And looking at that diagram, it seems pretty infinite to me. |

Sorry for awful screenshot; don't have time to get on AE myself. |
That can be fixed by opening the world in a world editor and removing the piston or the block it's trying to push. It also has apparently been fixed in 1.7.2.

Two, buttons only produce a second or so of power when pressed. You'd need a lever to toggle between perpetual on/off states. |

Not so much corrected as given an answer to your question.
|
I'm gonna go play around with pistons.

Also has anyone noticed any world holes since the update? |
I haven't noticed any world holes but I have seen more instances when the blocks don't render on the screen and you can see every fucking tunnel in the game.
|
:
It seems to me that worldholes have been replaced by squid. http://www.oddworldforums.net/attach...1&d=1309563681 http://www.oddworldforums.net/attach...1&d=1309563681 |
I did post this in the other Minecraft thread, but oh well:
http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/147...0625180400.png Yes, there are 20 squid right there. And I took it before the update. |

I've always had occasional encounters with squid packs, but they've been more frequent since 1.7.
Also, it's listed in a feature of 1.7 here. |
Weeeelllll
damn. |

Squid are the only mob that never despawn, and previously a glitch stopped them swimming upwards, so they got stuck in pits on the sea-floor (near Sun Tower you could hear a load of them scraping along the ocean floor beneath). Maybe that glitch has been fixed, so all the previously trapped squid are now congregating near the surface.
Just a guess. |
