I'm getting a little bored of PC gaming, I wanna play more mainstream console games such as Fallout, Dead Space 2, RAGE.
I do understand that them games are for PC but my PC is no way good enough to run them. |
My Dance Dance Revolution Universe 2 came in the post today and I have to say that I'm enjoying it because it's like working out except... well, very fun. I'm just a beginner at DDR's but I'm getting the hang of it! :p
|
I just got my first 100% A+ world in SMB. It was world 1. Makes me want to play it more, though.
Also, I think I'm going to start playing Gears of War 2 again. I really liked that game, can't remember why I sold it but it was a poor reason. |
I started to play Cubosphere :)
It's fan made of PS1 game called Kula World In Cubosphere you need brains to complete level's :D In first level's it may look boring but more you advance it's getting annoying harder :) Include's level editor to make custom level's... Also im looking for 'fantasy' related games... |
I LOVE KULA WORLD!
I never even knew there was a fan made game of it. |
I'm currently playing The remake of resident evil on my wii, and Mass Effect and Bioshock on my pc.
|
Just finished Crash Bandicoot 3, 105% with platinums in all time trials. I need to start a new project; might go for Metroid Prime.
... although I'm still meaning to speedrun Tombi. |
Metroid Prime, I loved that game!
Shame 2 and 3 were nowhere near as good. |
:
haven't played Tombi in yeeeears. |
:
I also might buy Toy Soldiers:Cold War, maybe. |

I'm 80% of the way through Crash 2 now, then I'll move onto Metroid Prime. It's the easiest of the three Naughty Dog platforming installments, but it's still a good game. I've 100%'ed 2 about five times already. (I've done completed 1 100% about 10 times, a couple of those in a single sitting.) Metroid Prime, on the other hand, is a game that I've only played short segments of before. I've watched my brother complete the majority of it, but the fact that it was similar to an FPS put me off completing it myself, considering I'm not very skilled at them. Considering how much I enjoyed the previous games in the series, it makes sense to give it a chance. |

I also remember liking Tombi but I cannot remember anything from it, if memory serves me right though the first Tombi was 2D and Tombi was 3D right? The Driver San Francisco Multiplayer demo was released yesterday, sadly the game decided to go Test Drive Unlimuted 2 on our asses and didn't work for about a good 3 hours after the demo was released. It is amazing though, not to sound like a dickhead but I found it far too easy first, I was getting ridiculous point gaps against other players but now people are improving and I've had plenty of very close matches, if the single player demo didnt do much for you I suggest to at least try the multiplayer demo, you get 2 modes, tag and trailblazer. Only problem is that they have stuck a very anoying and horrid display filter on the multiplayer, the single player game runs at 60FPS whilst the multiplayer runs at 30FPS and the filter does a very good job of hiding this hence why its there. Go check it out :D |
Right now I'm playing 'From Dust', 'Heroes of Newerth', and 'Global Agenda'. Feedback:
From Dust is getting a bad wrap for being a console port. Yes, its controls are a little clunky and the DRM issue is ridiculous, but the game still actually plays OK. It's quite fun and therapeutic, actually. I just hope it receives some patches and the FPS cap gets removed. Heroes of Neweth... just have some friends who play it for sure. Otherwise, teamwork is lacking, and the game becomes hellish as your teammates just make the enemy more powerful and you're helpless. Other than that, it can be great fun if you like that kind of game. Global Agenda I'm finding very fun, probably because I really prefer FPS to most MMO gameplay. The fact that it's skill-based and not gear-based is a refreshing change to me, and certainly worth the asking price. Which is nothing. :p |
Oh god, maybe I shouldn't have bought Street Fighter IV after all...
I got my ass handed to me by the first enemy in Arcade mode, on the easiest difficulty. Is there a button that allows me to block? And I'm using a regular controller, not an arcade fighting stick controller. |

I don't know, I'm a lot more used to Mortal Kombat's style of combat and this is way too complex for me! What the hell is an EX move, how the fuck do I do one?! Not to mention the move list thing that tells you really nothing...
|
:
But don't get me wrong, I prefer Mortal Kombat 9 to SSFIV. :p |
Mortal Kombat is a much simpler game to get into
I've never liked any Street Fighter game to be honest, I don't see why people kick up such a fuss about Street Fighter 2 (and its million versions) |
:
|
Doesen't mean it's good...
|
:
|
Yeah its good for what came of it, but people seem to think it's an amazing game
Maybe its just my personal opinion but I really don't like it. |
That is indeed your personal opinion.
|
I was playing Mass Effect 2 earlier, when I suddenly caught on to something I didn't before. Took me a while to find the appropriate video.
He wants a ship called the Iktomi? But that means his name would be Vas Iktomi! Vasectomy! Defrahnz is probably defrans, as in vas defrans, as in a tube in your balls. I like dick jokes. |
You've just reminded me.
I need to play Mass Effect 2 Oh and i've been re-playing Age of Empires II: Age of Kings and my mate let me borrow a few dozen PS2 games to play. One of them is Metal Gear Solid 2 which is a fantiasic game |
Tried out the Space Marine demo, Im a bit disappointed. Maybe because I read some early demo impressions that had some hyperbole. For a game seemingly centered round melee combat its disappointing that there seems to be one combo for the chainsaw sword, over and over again, the same combo. Guns feel really good though. Also, their method of regenerate health by killing enemies with melee sounds good in theory, but when most enemies die without you being able to do a take down it can be frustrating walking through the level with a quarter of health left. All this criticism aside, its still a fun game, a good game, just not a great game.
I also bought Deus Ex, and Im already hooked. Oh god, I spent half an hour exploring offices. |
Is that Warhammer 40,000?
|
Sure is.
|
I had a whirl at it at a friend's house yesterday.
It was enjoyable, but I guess I should have played the earlier games to be more hyped about it. He's giving me a lend of Crysis 2 when he's done with it, so I'll be looking forward to getting ripped into that. |
You know, Dix, I'm still waiting for that Portal 2 co-op with you. :(
