US Marines strategy in Vanquish:

Break through the blockade around the space colony with badass ramming speed

Fly through a closing starship gate with no guarantee of making it

Spit out troop carriers with weapons and engage enemy ships

Ram your fucking starship right into the goddamn dock and crush half the enemies

Vomit out troops in troop carriers and bounce those buckets cross the deck

Get reinforcements by blowing through the gate can crash another fucking starship into the dock

Scream "MOTHERFUCKER" and kill a giant robot

Run through into the space colony

Engage enemy warships inside and bring them crashing down on shit

All while firing continuously

CoH is older but better, if a tad bloated and under populated

Champions Online is like CoH, leaner and newer, I suppose I only think its worse because i burned out on City of Heroes

Jak 2 is pretty awesome, but the vehicles segments piss me off

Still Alan Wake, Im enjoying the story and atmosphere. But holy shit, this game has some pacing problems. Episode 3 is like the second LOTR movie in that there have been at least 3 instances where I said, it probably ends after this. Split it up or make it shorter. Right now Im just running through, dropping flares like wildfire so I dont have to stop and fight.

EDIT: Fuck you Episode 3, fucking showing me how far the current objective is. Alan would probably die of exhaustion before the darkness got him at this rate.

I think that I would have enjoyed it more if there weren't so many places where enemies would constantly respawn. I like the ability to investigate an area once I've cleared it of enemies.
