Does anyone have a picture of a Luskan Maruader? It's just that I'm trying to draw one but I only have the picture in the art book for referance and I can't find any anywhere else.

Wil 05-27-2008 05:35 AM

No, that’s the only image there is, and the only source of information we have about it.

GlacierDragon 05-27-2008 05:39 AM

Oh, ok. Thanks anyway.

abe is now! 05-27-2008 07:19 AM

Are there bad Mudokons in Mudos who kill native Mudokons, who plunder Native's villages and who don't speak Mudokon's language? For example outlaws or Mudokons who have never met civilised Mudokons and who live like primitives.

Bullet Magnet 05-27-2008 07:32 AM

There's always black-quarma Abe.

Xavier 05-27-2008 07:39 AM

The closest thing would be the mudokons living in the cities, that have no idea of their spiritual heritage and buy products of the Magog Cartel and Vykkers Corporation.

Jordan 05-27-2008 11:30 AM

Wouldn't there be ones under the influence of Sligs, told to kill eachother for their own gain?

Do those Mudokons really exist in Mudos?

Bullet Magnet 05-28-2008 09:49 AM

Mudos is a big place, and we've seen the equivalent of Disney Land's Magic Kingdom.

Munch's Master 05-28-2008 02:20 PM

Indeed. The map puts it all into perspectvie. What we've seen of Mudos is next to nothing, and Mudos is next to nothing in relation to the rest of Oddworld. Who knows, on other continents the Mudos species may not even exist, or the hierarchies may be totally different.

abe is now! 05-28-2008 11:25 PM

We also see an island in Mudos that has always intrigued me :D!!!

OddYouko 05-30-2008 09:19 AM

What's on the moon in the background? Is that just part of the coloring or is it the Mudokon hand? I can't tell. Sorry about the picture being so fuzzy.

Munch's Master 05-30-2008 09:42 AM

It's Abe's hand, only it looks odd. Tilt your head to the left and look at it, you'll see that it is Abe's Moon.

Xavier 05-30-2008 10:06 AM

looks like a mudokon hand indeed...

Bullet Magnet 05-30-2008 10:07 AM

That isn't it. Abe's moon can be seen in the background of a hidden area. This is one of Oddworld's many other moons. Those dark shapes are just Lunar maria.

abe is now! 05-30-2008 10:28 AM

We can see Abe's moon in this screenshot.

Those dark shapes are just Luna maria.

What is it?

Bullet Magnet 05-30-2008 10:56 AM

Lunar maria (singular: mare) are the name for the dark "seas" on the moon. They are basaltic plains created by prehistoric volcanic eruptions, and are less reflective than other lunar surfaces due to the rock being iron-rich, which is why they appear darker.

abe is now! 05-30-2008 11:46 AM

Oh, I know what it is... but I didn't know the name. So, I was wondering: is it possible that the hand on the moon has been created by an asteroid in the form of Abe's hand?

Sanssouci 05-30-2008 11:58 AM

I doubt a scientific explanation is really appropriate but I seem to remember the explanation being multiple meteor strikes whose craters coincidentally overlapped and formed the shape.

Shovels. Lots and lots of shovels...

Munch's Master 05-30-2008 01:55 PM

But where did they get the spacesuits to dig on the moon? And more to the point, who got in the spacesuits? ;)

Mine wasn't an explanation for the mark on Abe's Moon, but for the dark patches on our moon, and quite probably the dark patches on some of Oddworld's moons as well. The mark on Abe's Moon was made of craters, and that moon is not Abe's Moon.

The Shops.

Sanssouci 05-30-2008 03:59 PM

I was responding to Abe is Now!s question about a hand-shaped meteor, Bullet Magnet.

Wil 05-31-2008 03:32 AM

The moon OddYouko posted an image of is Abe’s Moon. The pawprint simulacrum was created by a meteor strikethat was either thousands of years ago or just as Abe was escaping RuptureFarms.

abe is now! 05-31-2008 04:30 AM

When Abe escaped from Rupture Farms, where did he pass? Is there any passage? How did he reach Zulag one? He was in a corridor... did he fall? Did he jump from a precipice (I mean when he discovered Mudokon Pops and ran, just before the beginning of the game)?

Wil 05-31-2008 04:58 AM

Are these really questions that occur to you, or do you spend time thinking them up?

Yes, they occur to me. In fact I don't know how Abe could reach Zulag one and I wanted do know it. And I was wondering how he reached it... I think it's hard to do it.

Alf says that the war between Muds and Glukkons happened because of Abe's Moon, so the meteor strike happened thousands of years ago.

Alf says that the war between Muds and Glukkons happened because of Abe's Moon, so the meteor strike happened thousands of years ago.

And that's waht Max told us ;). Maybe the Abe's moon is something created to destroy the peaceful life between Mudokons and Glukkons... we don't know enough about this argument, so we could also think that the Mudokons wanted to prevail on Glukkons, but it all failed and then the Glukkons subjugated the Mudokons by using their errors. And the marked moon maybe the spark that set off the war. It looks like a RPG :D!!!
