IC: "why no my very beautiful friends, I just need you for help to get around her, you see I am new to Rupture farms and could use you to help me find my way around here" said zero with a grin on his face, "and I need some guards, and I can give you some fine looking new gear" (WOW!!! a grubb and a steef, how much cooler of friends could I meet) thought zero, as he looked at the kind grubb and steef.

OddjobAbe 02-12-2007 10:31 PM

Goshhe had only found himself outside in the stockyards, where many Scrabs and Paramites awaited slaughter. *Goshhe turned around and left the stockyards - he didn't see much point in being there*. 'I'll kill that damn #0012.' He thought to himself.

After about an hour, he found himself in what could be the boiler room. He looked around for somewhere that he could work, but could obviously find nothing, because he was enclosed in a room.

OOC: Sorry about the brief, pointless paragraphs, but I'm just trying to get Goshhe familiar with RuptureFarms.

In approximately another hour, he found himself at a place with lots of food - he concluded that he must be in the cafeteria. There were several other people there. He noticed a Glockstar with a Steef and a Grubb talking to him. *Goshhe decided to go up to them and ask a few questions*: "What's going on here? Where the hell are the meatsaws? And why the hell does the slig with the seria number #0012 beat me and order me around? Is he allowed to do all this?"

OOC: If I am to get a reply, I don't expect brilliant answers, or any answers at all, to be honest.

Munch's Master 02-13-2007 05:19 AM

IC:
Arthur stared at Jade. "...Is that a trick question? Cause innit obvious that a cooking business would be...well, where you cook, namely the cafeteria?
I think we better go see Arnie, we can talk with him about co-operating between the 2 businesses. We're still employed by him, so we could become franchisees of Rupture Farms, or become a Co-op business. Think of the possibilities!"
He started walking off out of the Station, head buzzing with dreams of richness and corporate infamy.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Dek replied to Praetyre "Molt is very dangerous. I don't know exactly how much, as while he was on his rampage I had had to take a Slig to a hospital, and got caught up there with paperwork. Slap would be better to ask. And you go ahead with the operation, I'll get an armoured suit and some weapons and hunt down Molt. I'll try and get some Sligs to help me with it."
He walked into the Heavy Duty equipment section and began to armour up.
Goresplatter 02-13-2007 09:54 AM
OOC: Was the lab storage elevator, Dripik - Gore doesn't know about the other one, so he had to use the one he came down in :)
IC:
The elevator was going up. Gore smiled to himself, and lowered his weapon as soon as he was out of view. Just as he was gaining some confidence, one of the bandages on his leg was caught on the elevator, and it began to unravel the bandages around him. Not only was this unhealthy, it also exposed his true self. Crimson skin was stretched over potent muscles. He was cold, and needed a disguise - fast. The elevator arrived into the labs. As soon as it stopped, he leaped into the air ventilator and scurried down it.
Patrick Vykkers 02-13-2007 12:22 PM
Praetyre replied to his superior;
"Ok sir, but try not to get yourself killed. Also, although you probably know this, in order to gather Sligs for lab related security you'll have to get a signed form from this facilities Head of Security, in order to not be guilty of disrupting a vital employees work schedule. I don't know who or where the Head of Security is, but he is likely a Slig, and can probably be internally contacted via Fone. Oh, and make sure your armour is not rusting or old. In addition to exposed flesh, you may also get your flesh ripped off by this Molt Inhabitant."
Praetyre walked over to the Lab Cages door, using the same procedure to unseal them and then sealing them again as he walked through. He looked at Slap and stated;
"Our superior is going to gather a few Sligs to help take down this Molt character. I've told him that he will require permission from the Head of Security to get Sligs from their posts, and personally I just hope he makes it out alive."
Praetyre deactivated the miniscreen on the monitor, and watched the numerous readings again.
"Same as before, with the exception that humidity has increased around Subject Arrack's brain by 0.02%. Perfectly attributable to deformity, stress, and recent defreezing. Also, Subject Stuey is showing signs of dreaming, and Subject Arrack has lost control of his two bladders. Proceed."
We'll take the job!
ooc:ZERO101,no offense whatsoever,but Opple is a Grubb and Shcickwayla is a Steef.Just so you know.;)
ic:Opple:*First she looked at Shickwayla to make sure she approved.Then she said,(with much excitment in her voice)...*"Of course!We will take your job offer!By,the way,my name is Opple Steefson.This is my sister,Shickwayla.*Points to Shickwayla*And,I hope we don't disapoint you by informing you that we happen to be new here too.But,we do have a map you can look at if you want."*A big,cheeky smile on her face.*
Shickwayla:"I would be a great body guard too.As you have probably noticed,I'm a Steef,so I'm extremly strong.Not to brag or anything."
Opple:"So,whatta ya say?Do we get the job?"
ZERO101 02-13-2007 04:41 PM
OOC: oh, you're from TN too huh? I am in knox.
IC:Zero looked at the grubb and steef "well if you think you can help me out, HEY!!! a steef, are you not trying to hide in case seckto or some one was trying to hunt you? but any way I will let you both have the job and I can protect you from a low life like seckto" said zero as he hugs the steef and the grubb up in his arms, *hugs* "Poor steef, I heard what had happend to the old steef, and how seckto was just using him like he was a puppet, but don't worry I will keep you safe" zero said with a smile on his face. "Trust me I am the only glukkon that is not evil I guess, and I care about the oddworl animals" *Pulls out picture* "this is a picture of me. It shows how I now have arms and legs from my odd little run in with knick and got a lot of robot body parts. If you want I could use the robatizer to give you more power". "Now that you work for me I can give you that if you wish, or would you like any of the new gear that I have"? *shows the gear* "I have a gold Z hat like mine, a gold Z belt, a gun that shoots boom bats, a glockstar outfit that is blue and red and a skull of a scrab that was cut into a hat".
OOC: Sorry I got it wrong, and zero is a glukkon with robot arms like a slig's pants but my arms are inside of my skin, and like a glukkon thats life span is like 60, I am 20 and can live up to 150 years.
OddjobAbe 02-13-2007 10:29 PM
OOC: What I call a lift, you would call an elevator.
IC: *Goshhe turned from the non-responsive people* - they seemed to engrossed in conversation to hear him. 'Damn! I want answers about what the hell is going on here!' Goshhe thought to himself. *Goshhe began to exit the cafeteria, but needed to scratch his leg. *Reaches down to scratch his carf*. *He then walked out of the room*. Not to find the meat saws this time, but to find someone who could give him answers. He continued to proceed dawdling around the factory, but eventually found a lift. *Goshhe gets in the lift*.
*Goshhe exits the lift*. Goshhe found himself in what he believed to be a lab storage area. He didn't know why there were bandages bundled up in the corner of the lift, but he left them there in case they belonged to someone. 'Damn!' Thought Goshhe. He had no idea where to go from here. He turned to go back up the lift, but noticed a small mounted sphere which had a mudokon pawprint on it, so *he placed his hand uon the pawprint to see what would happen*. A big screen appeared in front of Goshhe. It had 'directory' written on it. 'Ah, now we're getting somewhere! A map of the zulag!' Goshhe stared at it for quite some time. 'Crap, I don't understand it!' He thought. *He curled up in the corner of the room on the floor*. He was scared. He didn't know why, but he didn't like this factory. 'Why did I ever come here?' He thought to himself. Suddenly, the lift began to move up. Goshhe thought nothing of it, but approximately two minutes later, the lift came back down, and *out came from it #0012*. *#0012 walked up to Goshhe and raised his gun.* Goshhe curled up even tighter and began to whimper. *#0012 brought his gun down upon Goshhe's bony ribcage, then his cranium, and repeated this act four more times, then stopped.*
"You bastard!" Shouted Goshhe, then *#0012 swung his gun into Goshhe's head. *#0012 then ambled back into the lift, and in a minute or so was gone. Goshhe wondered why #0012 did these things to him, and was determined to find out if he was allowed or not.
Slaveless 02-14-2007 09:54 AM
OOC: IloveHammy and ZERO101, I hate to upset you, but you should also remember to not ignore other characters trying to talk to you. Such as; Molt and Goshee. It is against the rules.
IC: Slap had watched the moniters the whole time and tried to find a safe spot to extract the no longer in use genetic material. He knew where the genetic material was, but he was rather uncomfortable having to the surgery. This was a surgery not normally performed on Sligs, and he had never been trained to do such an operation. No Vykker saw the use. In fact, he was one of the few doctors that he knew of that he even cared for Sligs' life. They saw that with their short life span, that keeping a Slig to live maybe 10 more years, was not worth using it. He had to convince the Vykkers last night, to even get Goresplatter to be treated. And doing operations out of his reach was not very suitble for him to accomplish. Molt, Goresplatter, and Stuey's cases were not as uncomfortable, because he had studied their body well enough to be comfortable to take action about their body. Yet, Arrack was different. He had never researched data banks on how Sligs should be handled when alive and having brain cells taken out. The only thing that came to mind was to use a scalpel to slice off some brain cells that contain information to make more. Brain surgery was going to be hard to do.
When Praetyre came back with the air tubes, he constructed the mechinism and inserted tubes into both Stuey's mouth and Arrack's mouth. The machine should pump air into their systems if they forget to do so anyway. It should also let their excerating air into the machine as well. After doing so, he brought himself to continue looking for the area of their brain that showed signs having genetic material cells.
When Praetyre returned, he was rather uneasy to think that Molt was gone. Not only did it risk other members of Rupture Farms, but Molt and himself. Slap needed orders to detain Molt from being in the Labortory. Without orders, knowing Glukkons, he would be given a punishment for unautherized release of a dangerous Slig. Not good on his part to have said that he had no idea what was going on with Molt. It would be bad on Molt's part as well since he had not been given a good amount of medication to insure his health. So Molt would risk having to suffer from an unhealthy condition that might cause him to die. Slap was not very excited to find that he might very well lose his job for not taking care of a patient fairly well.
Another issue came up. Praetyre kept on saying that the humidity increase with Arrack was just normal, but Slap was uneasy about it. If the humidity increased, Arrack's body will go through worse conditions that Praetyre could be concerned of. Failure of organs, dense air going into Arrack's lungs, all things that shouldn't happen to him.
When he rose his scalpel to slice some brain cells off, he wrote on his keyboard, "Sir, shouldn't we be concerned of the humidity increase of Arrack? I mean, it is alright that he reacting normally, but the fact that the humidity might increase so much on Arrack may be dangerous. Arrack has a condition where his body doesn't react very well to temperature changes. If he increases more in humidity, several of his organs will fail. His lungs with have water, his heart will have to pump more blood than usual, and his brain might fail entirely. So if he seems to have any of these sytopoms, tell me immediantly."
Slap started to slice some brain cells off, trying to get the only the brain cells that will be useful. Collecting more and more of it, he had carefully made small strokes to get the cells off, not trying to hurt Stuey at all. As soon as he got the most of it off, he had the scalpel just only a little slimey. He placed it beside him and decided to check the moniters on Stuey. His brain wasn't damaged at all. With relief, he carefully typed to Praetyre, "Can you give me a tad bit of tissue subistute to me? I need to place Stuey's skull back into place."
Molt saw as the two river creatures left their positions, he felt almost insulted on how well he was not responded to. Feeling as if he had just been ignored, Molt grumbled, but found the action rather hard to do. Things he normally could do was becoming harder for him. He guessed it was due to old age.
While Molt waited for Arnie, he learned that the river creatures might be a little right about something. Perhaps he wasn't there. He would have to find him, and not get so worked up about getting into there. Molt was not the type to go on looking for some Glukkon, so he figured he might as well go and look on how the Grinders were coming along. They probably were fixed, sinc he could hear a new rumble from the Boilers that meant they were working. Trekking off to find the Grinders, he figured to go to the second level one.
Breathing hard, Molt trekked over to the stairs that gave access to the Grinders. He found it harder to breathe now, since he was still trying to recover from yesterday. It was all too much for him, since his body shouldn't be handling that kind of action anymore. Nevertheless, Molt went up the stairwell, and getting into the Grinders.
Molt was to be slightly impressed that no one was actually in that section of the Grinders. Not a piece of machinery was still running since Mudokons weren't up there. Not even Sligs were guarding the place. How suspiscious. He never liked to figure out that no one was around. But he did see a sign that read;
"Following functionings current conditions:
Conveyer Belts: Working
Boilers: Working
Saws: Connected to Electrical Inputs
Packaging Machinery: Functioning
Slog Huts: Working
Remote Controls for Snoozers: Functioning
Power: On
Heat: On
Pumps: Processing
Levers: Active
All activities in grinders are functioning as planned."
Molt knew that something was going on. Why were no Mudokons working here? He started to walk on the ledges that led around the place, but he stopped short when he thought he was seeing something. He looked down to see some activity going on. From there, he could see nine Mudokons working on the Grinders, cutting up deskined animals that he saw. At least something was going on. Also from there, he could see three Glukkons talking to each other. From there, he could only see a what they looked like. He wasn't sure if one of them was Arnie or not. Molt decided he might as well get onto that floor, so he could see if one of them could tell what he should be doing around, since he wasn't employeed. And he might need to know what he should be doing.
So Molt turned his pants onto the highest gear and sprinted off back into the Grinder's stairs, moving his body from left to right like all the rest. When he arrived at the stairwell, he slowed down and slowly used his pants to go downstairs. When he did so, he continued on downard, until he reached the second enterance to the Grinders. He hastily turned right and moved into the Grinders.
Eager to find Arnie, he trekked around the Grinders, trying to reach the three Glukkons. Luckily for him, one of them looked familiar. When he got to the Glukkons, he stopped to catch his breath. He had not breathed as much as he should have over the course of the time of going to the lower level of the Grinders, so he tried to relax his lungs with air. As soon as he caught his breath, he deeply commented to Arnie, "Hey Arn. It's me Molt. Remember me? The guy who forgot to hand in his application before getting here? Yeah, that's me. The name's Molt. And I will like to find out what I can do around here."
Gappiqu had stepped out of the shadows to face Dionysia. He could see the confusion in her eyes, where she couldn't see what was going on. It upsetted him to have to ask about her past, since she wouldn't like that either. Coming in with your creator being led around by a gun is probably not the most romantic thing, but Gappiqu felt as if it was entirely necessary if what he had been looking for was real.
Before he could continue, he realized a native Mudokon was about. And it was holding a Spooce bow as well. Fear struck him as he remembered the native Mudokon who had killed off his friend. Those Mudokons had no right to come in and kill off anybody in the Magog Cartel. Ever since nine years ago, he had a strong fear of native Mudokons, since they were so destructive. Who knew what they were planning in the outside world? And that kind of mind was not about to be set around here.
So Gappiqu proclaimed at the Mudokon, raising RG's rifle at his face, "Why do I have a gun? Because I am a Slig, that's why! Why do you have Spooce Bow? Give to me, before I have to shoot you!"
He had forgotten entirely about Dionysia and the fact that he couldn't shoot a gun properly. Gappiqu was just too afraid of the native to remember all of that.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Bonty was impressed on how the Mudokon was able to know what he they were doing. So far, he was surprised to see on how the Mudokons he came across caught up onto the same page as himself so hastily. Happily thinking that this might go very well, he listened to Zap. Yet he didn't like that plan very much. Fuzzles were pretty vicious, and he didn't like them very much. A little too harmful for him. So, he decided to comment a little shakily, "Err, I'm not too sure about that idea. What if the Fuzzles don't listen? Or what if the Sligs guarding them finds out about us and shoots? Shouldn't we start simple, like destroying their supply of machines?"
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Matthew had saw that this new Mudokon had decided to start grinding, so he figured he might do something as well. He decided that since the barrels were rolling, he might want to do something else, like join Sam on constructing barrels. So he jumped off the platform he was on to get onto the very one Sam was on. He walked over to Sam's station and helped him place barrels on the conveyor belt.
Info on us...
ooc:I didn't know that Molt and that other guy were talking to me!Sorry.Where is the post that they were talking to me in?Oh,and ZERO101,yes I do live in Tennessee.I didn't think anyone in TN. loved Oddworld like I do! But,it's Great to know a local fan!
ic:Shicwayla:*Smoothes out her shirt after being hugged by the Glukkon,looks at the picture he was showing her.*"It's really cool that you have robotic arms.Most Gluk's have a Slig vallet to help them with every single thing,but you got lucky!"*Touches his arms.*"I'm also glad that you hired us.And,that you promised to protect us.I'm not running from Secto though.As a matter of fact,almost all of the important creaturs on Oddworld are watching over my family and I.We Steef's are almost extinct,so we are being protected from harm so we can re-populate Oddworld."
Opple:"Yeah.I was adopted by the Steefson family because the Walvarks killed my real parents.I wish my people,the Grubb's,were protected too.But,since I am now a Steefson,I am also protected."
Shickwayla:"Okay,back to business.Where do we start work?Where do you want to go?"*Try's to be a little flirty.*
Munch's Master 02-14-2007 12:38 PM
OOC: Dripik, is #7 Slig still in the cafeteria? I need to know ASAP, otherwise I cant' post much more.
IC:
Arthur hurried off down corridors, and as he was running, he noticed that cyborg slig, what was his name, Colt, Bolt, Molt! That was it, Molt, heading for the Grinders. Arthur hadn't a clue why, but headed on for the Cafeteria, expecting to find Arnie and Otto there.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dek sealed the suit up, checking it twice to ensure there were no cracks. It seeme fully secure. There was a slight imperfectino at the neck joint, but a quick balst with a lbowtorch obn low power soon solved that. He attached an electroshocker to his back, and hefted a Snuzi in his claws.
"I'm well aware of having to speak with #7 Slig. Indeed, I intended to bring him along as well, but thanks anyway. Seal the doors on maximum security when I leave, we don't want Arrack's operation disrupted."
With that, Dek exited the Lab, heading for the Cafeteria to infrom #7 Slig about Molt.

Acopperredhairdfreak 02-14-2007 12:41 PM

"What do you say?" said Marv to Arnie with a happy grin.
But after he said that, a slig that looked half robotic came besides Arnie and said "Hey Arn. It's me Molt. Remember me? The guy who forgot to hand in his application before getting here? Yeah, that's me. The name's Molt. And I will like to find out what I can do around here.".

Marv got a bit suprised by the rough apperance of the Slig.
He glared a bit at the metal that the sligs organic tissue had been replaced with.

Splat 02-14-2007 01:19 PM

ooc: Impertectino? Lbowtorch? Is that some sort of Elbowtorch? :p
Good gravy Gappiqu, that post was MASSIVE!

IC:
Dionysia saw Gappiqu's gun for the first time when he pointed it at the mudokon. She realised immediately that he must have been holding it at Krik's back and anger rose inside of her, "What's going on!? Forget the stupid mud Gappiqu, Arnie's given him a job! What in Odd's name do you think you're doing?"

Despite everything, Krik was vaguely pleased to see the look of utter rage on her face. 'So much for the slig's idea of his happy family,' He thought.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

"You don't need to use that old stuff. I'm perfectly capable of making web you know," Somi told Sturg.
Jim looked relieved.
"Great," Anni said, "Then as soon as Kix gets us some hose you can fix it up. And We've got to see if Arnie will give us a pump or something. We could go and see him now, before Kix and Dean get here."

ooc: I hope you two haven't forgotten about our merry mudokons.

Slaveless 02-14-2007 01:42 PM

OOC: That's what happens when you have a good amount of homework.
I am waiting for Dean to get Kix back on path.

IC: Gappiqu looked at Dionysia again, seeing her rage in her face. When he heard about Arnie hiring the Mudokon in the first place, he was surprised. He was impressed that Arnie would even consider hiring a suspiscious Mudokon. He was about to burst out explaining that he would never trust native inside the facility ever, when Dionysia started to yell at him why did he have a gun against the back of her master.

Gappiqu remembered the reason why he was in there. He looked into her eyes and remembered his fear of losing her. The subject of that was all what was important now. His life was at stake. He lowered his gun next his legs and gulped before he explained his reasoning. Tense in the feeling that everything his life was dreaming for was now real, he began start with a calm voice. "Dionysia, I met your creator and he has been telling me filithy lies. Lies of you having your programing messed up, causing you to scar Sligs emotionally. Having Sligs emotionally scarred was all this doctor had told me about you in your past. And all he wants me to do now is to stop speaking to you, stop seeing you, and stop thinking about you. He thinks you are messing me up big time. He is acting like just seeing you now is a sin! I told him that it wasn't true, but he refused to stop lying! I'm here to prove to him that once and for all, what he has been saying to you is not true! And ultimatly, find out if you are what I have been looking for all my life. Please, tell me the truth. If now is not the time, then never. Am I fool to fall for you?"

Gappiqu closed his statement, watching her, waiting for the response of his. He wished she would just tell him the truth, so maybe his life with her would continue. Just maybe, his last few years would be worth while. And he could fix everything he had started in this factory, so everything will return to normal, and he could die happy.

ZERO101 02-14-2007 03:40 PM

IC: "I am very glad that you will work for me, I just love the way you too are such good friends. And yes I will keep you safe, I try to help the creatures on oddworld but unlike the scrabs that ran me here you too are nice,cute and kind", said zero with a tear in his eye. *Rubs eyes* "anyway, now to start out here" *gives grubb and steef 1,000 moolah each* "this is for you to keep and as far as where to start out, let us first go and eat some lunch". (wow, that steef was flirting with me, I think maybe I should do the same). *Puts arm around grubb and steef* I think you are the most beautiful creatures I have ever set my eyes on". Said zero as he was blushing.

Patrick Vykkers 02-14-2007 04:09 PM

Praetyre listened to Slap, then replied;
"Just out of curiousity, who do you normally get to do errands? Not that I mind doing them, of course, but it is quite disruptive at times to have to run off and get little things in the middle of a delicate operation. Do we have any deactivated or activated robots around this facility? Surely one as prestigious and large as Rupture Farms 1027 would possess a few robot workers? I understand that the previous staff probably viewed other species as nothing more than their slaves, but surely in this self contained age of enlightenment they would of helped take the load off some overburdened Inhabitants with mechanical assistance? If there aren't any, has this facility considered hiring Grubs? They work hard, run fast, can get into tight spaces, enjoy their work, and plus we're giving them room, board, and good living. At least that's my experience with them at Rupture Farms #1000 and a short spiritual trip I took to Mongo Valley. But anyway, the tissue substitute.. let me see.."
Praetyre ordered his suit to release a Scalpel X-2, which he then started fiddling with. He eventually found the right button, which caused the device to convert into a artiflesh spray and injector. Praetyre entered in the sequence to lower the surgical shield, then stretched out his hand with the device towards Slap.

arkaznor 02-14-2007 09:36 PM

IC: Ark let out a better laugh.
"Judging on how quickly you looked away from me, this situation has some meaning. And to answer you your question as to way I have a gun. It's for my protection. When you have been forced to work in a place were you have to raise your own kind into slavery, while being shoot at for fun. Then having your best friend killed for running away, after which being chased in a swamp for two years, makes you kind of glad to have a gun. Though even if I told you about my life, you wouldn't know what I've been through." Ark replied to the slig, his anger making his tattoos glow a pale blue.
"Or what your dealing with." Ark added, aiming his gun at the sligs head.
*Mud, it's been awhile since I've had to kill. I hope I don't have start now. Plus the glow around my eyes is making my vision blurry.* Ark thought sliding his foot across the cold floor to get into a better stance.
"But, if you put your gun down, I'll put mine down."

OddjobAbe 02-15-2007 12:45 AM

OOC: Remember, being from Yorkshire, I would call an elevator a lift.

IC: Goshhe turned to face the lift, wondering if #0012 would be waiting for him at the top. Goshhe took is chances. *He entered the lift and closed the doors - the lift began to move up*. At the top, there was no #0012. 'Thank Odd.' Goshhe thought. *He proceeded onward, and sometime later, he found himself back in the cafeteria. 'Damn, I'm back here!' He thought. The Glockstar and two steefs were still there. He thought he'd give them another shot, although, he hated to interrupt their conversation. *Goshhe walked up to them*. "Excuse me," He said. "Could you tell me where I have to go, and if the slig with the serial number #0012 is allowed to beat me? I'm new here, I would like to know if I could make myself useful."
Goshhe expected a reply now. He wasn't surprised that he didn't get a reply, the way he spoke to them the first time.

Zerox 02-15-2007 05:10 AM

IC: Sturg was slightly surprised to hear that "Kix? Dean? Who might they be exactly?"

OOC: Sorry short post.

OddjobAbe 02-15-2007 06:34 AM

IC: #0012 had finished. All these spare hours for creating his own non-organic species. All to maintain the boiler. The owner of RuptureFarms shoukd be grateful. Of course, #0012 did intend to use the Cieb-orgs to do his own bidding. That is why he'd built the Cieb-orgs with an electrified rod, and the Cieb-orgs' Cie-orbs with a lethal plasma rod. How #0012 knew to build such models - well, he was prematurely bred, and at 'birth' had a device built into his brain, meaning he was part machine, so he was the only one who could interact with his models. His device enabled him to think like an engineer. The reason he had his device planted into his brain, was that he had been bred to be a technical engineer for a Splinterz installment. #0012 seemed terribly pleased with himself for creating these machines. Now, if he does blend in with the other sligs, he could get away with this. *#0012 exits the room*.

ooc: Sorry Ark, if you get ignored a bit. Can we say your post came before my previous one? ('Never mind the mud, Arnie gave him a job' and so on)

Anni answered, "Kix and Dean are friends of mine. They're both mudokons. They're nice, and they know Somi. I've known Dean for ages and I met Kix when I came here." She started leading the way back downstairs.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Dionysia stared at Gappiqu for a few seconds, a look of disbelief on her face. She gritted her teeth and hissed slowly (in a strangely sliggish voice), "Are you insane?"

And then she exploded.

"DO YOU THINK I'M STUPID, KRIK? YOU THINK I'VE FORGOTTEN ALL ABOUT STIVIK AND WHAT HE DID TO ME AND I'D LET THAT ALL HAPPEN AGAIN?" Then she turned her wrath on Gappiqu, "HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU THAT I DON'T WANT THIS? EVERY WORD I'VE SAID, YOU'VE IGNORED ALL OF IT?" She was aware that she was going crazy but it was like she had lost all control over herself, this was all flooding out and she had no way of stopping it. Deep down inside she was terrified as all control over her emotions vanished. Her senses were blinded with rage. She wanted to hurt something, badly.
She screamed at the top of her lungs and suddenly started running. She had no idea what direction she was going in, where she was headed. She wanted to run away, to keep going until her legs gave in and get far away from here, but it seemed whichever way she turned she was trapped between iron walls. So she kept running.

Krik, meanwhile, was suddenly she shaken by her outburst, and seemed frozen in place when she suddenly ran away, though he kept his eyes on that slig. The words 'Emotionally unstable prototype' were flashing across his mind in neon letters.

dripik 02-15-2007 11:30 AM

OOC: All these posts are getting me confused again. First, money is rarely a matter in W@RF, only nominally. And, I find it unlikely that a half-robotic Glukkon would make friends with a Steef and a Grubb. And then again, there are many unlikely things here, like relationships between Sligs and Mudokons. I'll wait and see what turns out of this.
Second, I would like all you new RPers to use Splat's map when you're posting. And third, I would appreciate if you told me about these Cieb-orgs, Oddjob. It would be OK in a FC story, you know, popping in with a new idea without any indication previously, but in an RPG it's rather annyoing... to me, at least.

MM, I think #7 Slig is still in the Cafeteria with Roid, can't remember properly, but it fits in.

-----------------------------------

Rick looked at RG questioningly. "So, we should get going then. The sooner we fix your vision, the better. Shall I take your arm and..."

"No need to do that." RG held his hand up refusingly. "Just walk in front of me, Mudokon organic, I can follow you by hearing your footsteps."

They set off to the elevator which led to the Production Lines. Rick walked a few steps ahead of RG, stepping hard on the floor so the robot could follow him. When they reached the elevator, Rick stepped on the platform first. "OK, we're at the elevator. Come over here." he said to RG.

RG walked next to Rick and turned around. Rick pressed a button on the elevator's console on the wall, and they started to ascend. Rick shot a glance at RG's head. He looked creepier than before, with his 'eyes' shattered, the part of his face where the nose would be indented, and one of his eye receptors was hanging out of its socket on its cables. He wondered how he would explain all this to those who see RG in this state.

-----------------------------------

Arnie looked at Molt, rather surprised. "Hey there. It seems we haven't met before. So, you're Molt? I heard you had some trouble with Gappiqu earlier. In the Labs, right?"

Otto reminded himself of what Rick told him earlier. Molt's previous boss was hunting the Slig for some reason. They agreed to keep the Slig away from harm, so it was good that Molt still wanted to stay... Obviously, everyone would prefer working in a meat plant than being introduced to a pair of BlitzPackers.

Splat 02-15-2007 11:34 AM

ooc: Well it happened with Jayne and Muse and I don't recall you complaining!
Anyway, Dionysia is a fair part slig, so it's more like a relationship between a slig and a slidoken!

dripik 02-15-2007 11:47 AM

OOC: I meant that there were working relationships between some characters. And that relationship was rather entertaining, so I wouldn't complain at all. But this current one (not Gappiqu and Dion) is starting rather strange, so we'll have to wait how it turns out. I didn't make that clear, it seems.

Munch's Master 02-15-2007 12:22 PM

OOC: Slaveless, I've forgotten. Where are Kix and Dean right now? Where they heading back to the disused corrdior Kix found?
Dripik, thanks.
IC:
Arthur entered the Cafeteria and looked round quickly. No Arnie. He headed over to #7 Slig, noticing he was talking to a new employee.
"Hey, Numbers, where's Arnie? I need to speak with him about some business stuff."
De kentered the Cafeteria as Arthur siad this, and he too hurried to #7.
"Not now Arthur, my message is more important."
Arthur looked at him and replied sarcastically "Come one, what's happened? You ran out of anaesthetic gas? And why are you wearing an armoured suit and carryin' weapons?"
Dek looked back harshly "Because of the message" He addressed the next prt specifically to #7 Slig
"Molt's escaped, I don't know how. I took a nap due to tiredness, when I woke up not 5 minutes later, he was gone. You know how dangerous he is, after the business when he last escaped. I'd like it very much if you and a Secuirty Team helped me catch the pest, or at the very least gave me clearance to hunt him down."

IloveHammy! 02-15-2007 01:49 PM

Why are you so nice to us?

ooc:dripik,just because ZERO is a Glukkon doesn't mean he has to be evil.He can be my friend if he wants to,I don't care at all.It's not againest the rules to make friends with characters on here is it???

ic:Opple:"Awww,you're sweet.Thank you very much.*Wispers to Shickwayla,'I just knew that extra make-up I put on would pay off!'*
Shickwayla:*Ignoring Opple,says...*"And,I'm glad you reminded me of lunch,I had almost forgotten what we came here for in the first place,FOOD!"
Opple:"This is kinda off subject but,why are you being so nice to us?Most of the Glukkon's I've seen are evil.Are you sure you came from Maggie,the Gluk Queen?Thats where most Glukkon's come from so,just curious."*Picks out some food from the buffet,and fill's her plate.Shickwayla does the same.*

The Red Muse 02-15-2007 02:49 PM

"Yeah, just take him in the train, I'll handle the rest", Red said and gave the intern a few coins of moolah.

"Like, totally, thanks dude," the intern huffed, "But seriously, uh..dude, you're this bigbro's keeper? I mean, like, the thing's three times as big as you are. How the hell do you keep him under control?"

"I have special abilites you can only dream about", Red said with a grin as he watched Jammer being carted to the train.

"Whatever dude", and the intern left.

Red sighed in relief. After hours and hours of talking, he finally managed to get two train tickets to RuptureFarms... or atleast that's what he hoped for.

Jammer, as usually, had a little outburst. He casually smashed in the ticketbooth, killed..--err, mortally wounded an intern, scared a high-ranking executive and ate the last bar of chocolate.
As a result, he got himself a nice new straightjacket.

And a tranquilizing shot in the arse.

Muse boarded the train and headed for his cabin. Jammer was already waiting for him, nicely wrapped up in his very own straightjacket, overflowing with visible rage.
"Aw, c'mon Jammer! Don't give me that look! I talked us out of this mess, that YOU had caused! You should be thanking me!", the small slig snickered, "Besides, you look just FAB in white. It brings out your girlish figures."

Jammer replied with a mumble, followed by an angry grunt and a growl.

"Yeah, yeah, I'll take that muzzle of as soon as this train leaves. Don't be so hasty, sheesh."

Red sat down and yawned, "...but then again, you're not as loud now, as you normally would. Think I'll take a nice long nap and THEN take the muzzle off. Whaddaya think? Sounds good, ye?"

Jammer twitched.

"Aww, calm down. I'm just teasing you."

After a few minutes of waiting, the train finally departed the station, (hopefully) headed for RuptureFarms.

"Alright!" Let's get that muzzle off!", and with that Red stood up and walked to Jammer. He fiddled around with the multiple straps on the muzzle.

As soon as the metallic cage of silence hit the ground, a hell of verbal vulgarities was unleashed. Jammer was more than furious.

If words could kill, Muse would've been killed, mauled, burned, shot, stabbed, strangled, then killed again, mugged and tossed into a fiery meatgrinder.
Yes, into a FIERY meatgrinder. Normal meatgrinders aren't as scary as fiery ones are.

Muse decided that the straightjacket looked too good to go.

This train ride was going to be a long one.
Very, very long.

Slaveless 02-15-2007 03:34 PM

OOC: Entertaining, really? Well, Gappiqu and Dionysia are about to get a little more interesting....
MM, I believe Kix and Dean are about to go into the Storage area, since they felt like it would be safer to go there first.

IC: Molt was rather disappointed and frustrated that Arnie had forgot him from yesterday. Yet, he was too ill to say something about that. He didn't want to start yelling, since he didn't feel like he had the air to do that. Also, he wasn't crazy about getting in trouble. That had slipped away from his mind and thought more about his future's bosses input.

He snorted at the name of Gappiqu. Molt remembered that guy and he was not someone he wanted to see again. He commented on that, "It's more like Crappiqu. That guy ain't worth it to be called a Slig. That guy has some serious problems. Did ya know that when I lost my arm here, he threw me against a wall? Then he tried tah kill that Intern guy, as well as me. Luckily, I saved him and myself from certain death. Oh, then he had some Mudokon get caught in trace of pure pity. She was actin' as if she had somethin' for him. She was that black Mudokon ya' saw yesterday. You know, when we were talking, she said she wanted to jump in a meatsaw, right? He was worse than this Mudokon I met 20 years ago, when he was part of some damn rebellion group.

His name was Bonty, I got stuck with him a couple of years ago. I sure hope I can kill him soon, he nearily caused Slurg Barns 11 to fall apart. I can't now, with the whole, no beating regulation. Yeah, he's here. Son of a b**** is still alive. Luckily, he has Sligaphobia, and can't stand the sight of Sligs. That's another story that I can't tell, unless ya want ta.

So, er, do I get a job? I need one for some time. I need some occupation in order ta stay here. Can I stay?"

Molt saw the other Glukkon he didn't regonize, and looked at him with the aggressive glance. Not even Glukkons should look at his parts. Sure, it was unusual, but they nothing to say. Why look at him like that when you aren't going to do anything about it?
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Gappiqu was shaken big time by Dionysia. He didn't remember her saying anything about not wanting to be with him. He never thought that she felt so strongly against him. It was so hurtful to learn her true feelings. His bursts of depression were coming on, but her strange sudden burst of anger was frightening. It was like she was going insane! First, she pitched an abnormal tone, which was very Slig like. And then she screamed in absolute frustrating anger. He ignored the fact that she was acting strangily. Gappiqu was just too saddened that she went crazy because of him. It was too much.

Tears rushed like a waterfall down his cheeks. His whole life, he was looking for someone to make it all better. Dionysia was sort of his friend, and he thought that she would make his life worth it to have survived a terrorist attack. But now, the truth had came to him. Life isn't fair, and he should have delt with it before. He still loved Dionysia, but he didn't think it should have been done. Now he frustrated someone he loved, when he should have never loved her and gotten himself into weird situtions. Should he continue on, was the only thing on his mind.

Gappiqu remembered that native and looked at him strangily, with the only thing on his mind to just dispose of him. But he was too sad to do that at all. He couldn't be angry right now. Gappiqu sniffed and deeply bewailed, "To sum it up, I didn't have a great life either. My friend as well got killed, but by your kind. He didn't have to go, but I didn't need the attention I got afterwards. Now look at me. I can't shoot a gun, I have lost my life, I don't have normal pants, and I upset everyone. What makes you think you should complain if the poad is deeper on another end?"

Gappiqu turned around and faced Dr. Krik. Nothing came to mind, except for this. He proclaimed, "Did you really have to make my life more miserble than it had to be?"

Gappiqu fled away from earshot of the two and decided to think about what he had just done at a table. Dropping his gun on the floor, he began to think. Maybe there he could think that there is something else for him. He sat down with a frown across his face and sighed, while weeping hard. Was there anything in for him?
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Slap started to use the artiflesh spray and injector, after finding himself placing the skull of Stuey's back onto his head. It sprayed to make an odd, sticky, substance that looked like flesh a little. He had first sticked the mesh across the skull already there, so it would make a skin graph and create similar matter that is much like the bone cells. Hopefully, the skull will make the mesh have the ability to make the two skulls connect to each other. This procedure was very crucial the part of the operation. If the mesh does work, Stuey will be back together. If it does not, he will have to have a subsitute for the rest of his skull. After spraying, he waited and carefully thought about what Praetyre had said.

Slap typed down swiftly with a serious look in his eyes, "First, before we begin about your curiousity, I need you to make sure the mesh will attach properly to the skull. This is very important in the process of the transplant. Hopefully you don't mind checking.

On the factor of your curiousity, yes, mechincal employees are active. I have seen only one, which was used to carry out the personal requests of Arnie, Otto, and #7 Slig. The droid was here a while back, but RG-49 had found itself chasing after another trouble maker named Gappiqu. This droid is hopefully active. Yet, he is the only one I know of. And he currently shouldn't be found around these parts for a while. On the other subject, using Grubbs is a bad idea in my experience. First of all, Grubbs do not find themselves easy to be found. They populate out of Magog Cartel's range of business domination. It would be more moolah to actually go send Sligs to captivate them, then to buy 5 Mudokons. Second of all, Grubbs are too connected with their faith and native ways to accept these rough areas. They will encourage Mudokons to go out into escaping and cause mayhem all over the place. I suggest employing more work loving Mudokons really, rather than finding a new source of natives."

Patrick Vykkers 02-15-2007 04:03 PM

Praetyre nodded, walking up to Stuey and gripping his skull, trying to pull it off with all his might. But it would not budge a millimetre out of place, even with Praetyre metallic assistance.
"Tougher than a mother's love" he thought.
Praetyre turned to Slap;
"Looks like it set fast. I couldn't pull it off even with my full body weight pulling at his skull. You are clear. And by the way, I've had experience tending to Arrack before. He is in some ways a musical prodigy, and even spent his time asleep thinking up tunes. As such, it causes his brain to generate electricity by itself, and causes humidity to gradually rise up to a 19% ratio. However, due to his physiology, it peaks there, and can only be forced up by infection or outside factors, which I've found have an upper influence limit of 35%. So, you can safely proceed. His loss of bladder control is actually a good thing, as it empties the waste in his body, purifying his blood. The only thing you might have to watch out for are the.. particles possibly infecting him or Arrack. Perhaps you should get some kind of specialty scoop. They normally keep them in cabinets around the wild animal areas."
Praetyre headed out through the surgical seal opening, and resealed it from the monitor.
"Humidity on both subjects is stable. Heartbeat stable. Waste levels on Subject Arrack dropping. Subject Stuey shows no signs of distress, amnesia, or trauma. Subject Arrack's electrical output rising to 1138 microwatts."

Acopperredhairdfreak 02-16-2007 12:19 AM

After Marv looked for a while at Molt's metal bodyparts, he saw that the slig glanced at him aggressively. Marv becamed pissed. Marv had never met a slig acting like this to him.

"What!?" he said in an angry voice. His face turned into a redish sort of colour.

Even for such a small thing, his blood were boiling.
Rebelius Mudokuns, that he could handle. But a cocky slig, that seemd to have drawn the last straw.

Splat 02-16-2007 07:48 AM

ooc: For future reference it wasn't just Krik being nasty; Dionysia did indeed have a (rather violent) moodswing.

IC:
As Gappiqu ran off, Krik called after him, "You can't say I didn't warn you!"
He was, however, shaken by Dionysia's outburst. He knew it shouldn't have surprised him: he was well aware of her emotional instability and had seen (or at least heard about) her exploding like that a couple of times before. Though this was the first time her rage had been directed at him.
He had had enough of this place! He would have another word with Arnie and then would call himself a train and get out! Go and get those tests sorted and come back in a day or two when things had calmed down. If that slig hadn't worked out that he should keep away from her by now then... well, then it was obviously the stupidest slig Krik had met.

All thoughts of the meech that had attacked him earlier and of getting revenge on Gappiqu were gone. He headed for Arnie's office.

ooc: Is Arnie on the catwalk or the ground floor of the grinders?

Zerox 02-16-2007 08:45 AM

IC: "That's good to know. I was worried they might be Sligs, or another species that would more likely be trying to profit from me, and as a result, do who knows what with me". Sturg started following Anni back down the stairs.

ZERO101 02-16-2007 02:39 PM

IC:"Yes, I am a glukkon and did come from maggie, but I have all ways been more of a nice glukkon and would love nothing more than to save the animals on oddworld". "I do have a need for power, but I can be evil and let all my evil out on the plants and trees". "But if you want to know I do have a pure evil side that shows when I feel like I need to try to save someone or try to win..... allso it come out if I get wet". (The last time I got wet I killed over 40 scrabs) thought zero with a sad looking face. "any who, this food looks good, dig in guys" said zero stuffing his face with the sweet and sour meat.

OOC: Dripik I am EVIL, just not on like wild life more or less I would try to take over the glukkon queen and rule oddworld and yes I am a glukkon so to save or help a friend I would kill someone or something

OOC MoxCo I am a glockstar and the onwer of ZERO MART "if it's less than one moolah it's zero" If you like skoot on over to the cafeteria and we can talk about the factory's and I have arms and have a tan glockstar outfit on and a gold Z on my hat.

Splat 02-17-2007 07:10 AM

ooc: The RPG is called 'Work at Rupture Farms', not 'Work at Zero Mart'. Your character has to be in Rupture Farms and he has to arrive somehow!

dripik 02-17-2007 10:45 AM

OOC: I don't have anything against friendships between characters, don't get me wrong, IloveHammy!. If Opple and Shickwayla call a Glukkon who gave them money a friend, then I didn't say anything. And I wouldn't mind you and ZERO to post in the story-telling form instead of the script-like form, if that's possible. Sometimes, it's hard to make out what you're trying to say, it's too packed. Or at least, leave some space in your posts.

Heh, Arnie has a lot of my personality with him. I always forget who he already met.

---------------------------------

Apparently, Molt wasn't afraid to share his thoughts about Gappiqu and Bonty to the Glukkons. Arnie was taken aback by all this: the Slig said openly that he was against the rule of No Mudokon-Beating. This was the same situation as when Jammer was assigned outside, in the Stockyards, just to keep him away from Mudokons. Arnie had to find a way to keep Molt out of trouble... somehow. He started with the usual idea.

"So, I don't recall you ever told anything about your abilities. I mean, do you have any skills, other than firing a gun?"

---------------------------------

"No idea, Arthur." said #7 Slig. He could be anywhere, but my bet is that he's on this level. He can't be too far from here."

Then Dek came in and told him about Molt. "He's gone again? Nothing's stopping him, right?... OK, I'll help you, but I think we could use some more guards. Have you seen RG? Is he still at the Labs?"

moxco 02-17-2007 12:05 PM

Occ: @ Zere101, well if your guys so rich and all, whats he doing in an abandon factory? My guy here becuse hes factory in vykkers labs blew up.

Well fancy that, said Mox, The train still comes to an abandoned building.
"Well actualy," replied ELsman "that was a private train run by some chump who will take you any were to get some moolah".
"shut up and stop bragging about your knowledge and get me somthing to eat commanded." Mox, Yes boss replied Elsman. What are you getting me, isnt this rupture farms, creator of the tasty paramite pie." "Er sir, said Elsman".
"What", snapped Mox,.
Well if this place is abandon dont you think they wont be making paramite pies" said Elsman.
"There you go with that about bragging your knowlodge again," said Mox
*Sigh* why did we come here again if i cant get anything to eat.
ELsman held out a piece of paper.

Mox, Rupture Farms is not abandoned. It was reopened by Arnie a long time ago.

Secondly, saying that note comes from Arnie counts as godmodding. You're controlling Dripik's character by saying he sent the note.

OOC:
http://www.geocities.com/old_nile/postcard.jpg

Sorry about this Moxco., but it seems that you just can't get the hang of this. I know that you even had difficulty with your characters. You need to write a decent profile for all of them. Random ones are dying out here fast. And that last post of yours was the one which made me react like this. One thing was the godmodding, second was the content of the whole post, it made no sense, third is the grammar.
