To be honest, since being forced to switch from Windows to Ubuntu I have no fucking idea how to take a screenshot of my desktop let alone anything else - please help me Nathan.

Can't you just use PrntScr button? On ubuntu it takes a photo and probably stores it in My Pictures (least it does for me)

Yep, although I've got to get a bit more RAM for the laptop so it runs the cutscenes and oddworld in general smoothly. It runs Fastest Abe's Exoddus fine though.

As Varrok said, try the Print Screen button. It should pop up a dialog asking whether you want to save the file or put it in the clipboard.
