Yeah, but other than that, it's not really good. The special ability isn't really good.

I've been playing some Fallout 3 for the first time. It's an awesome game.
Though, I seem to level up too fast. Unless there are some much harder baddies somewhere that I'm missing out on, I can already kill anything at level five. It gets a bit tougher if there are lots of dudes or they have powerful guns, but it's nevertheless pretty easy. Centaurs, for example, which were pretty damn tough in Fallout 2, are now incredibly easy. And even Super Mutant Brutes I can kill with three or four hits to the head. I don't seem to be able to view how many karma points I have, just the rank - which is Protector or some shit at the moment. I'm also annoyed at all the seemingly pointless items - dinner plates, ashtrays etc - which I don't have room to take with me and which will probably sell for bazoodles to some collector somewhere. But annoyed in a good way - it's good to have something intentionally annoying. |

Enemies do get harder. Follow the quest for long enough and you'll meet Enclave soldiers. These guys drop powerful weapons and power armour, though. Also, Deathclaws are scary fucks. The Deathclaw cave is absurdly scary because you know that there's at least one around there, but if I start shooting it who knows how many are going to come at me. It really isn't that bad once you figure out how sparcely they're placed. The usless items stay usless. That said, my mum made 60k by the end by picking up everything worth more that it weighs. |
I've been playing Left 4 Dead 2 recently. I love The Passing campaign

MOTHERFUCKING VANQUISH
US Marines strategy in Vanquish: Break through the blockade around the space colony with badass ramming speed Fly through a closing starship gate with no guarantee of making it Spit out troop carriers with weapons and engage enemy ships Ram your fucking starship right into the goddamn dock and crush half the enemies Vomit out troops in troop carriers and bounce those buckets cross the deck Quote Starship Troopers Get reinforcements by blowing through the gate can crash another fucking starship into the dock Scream "MOTHERFUCKER" and kill a giant robot Run through into the space colony Engage enemy warships inside and bring them crashing down on shit All while firing continuously |
I played the Vanquish demo.
I must get that game. |
I've completed 70 percent of Super Meat Boy. The final 30 is going to be very hard.
|
Just played Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom demo, surprisingly fun. The dynamics between commanding the Majin and moving yourself are good. Might have to watch out for this one.
|
Oh, Majin demo already out? Got to test it out. I really liked the trailer for it.

Do the Enclave guys drop advanced power armour? Because I already got three sets of normal power armour (albeit damaged) from those metal knight dudes on the way to Galaxy News Radio. As for Deathclaws - I remember in Fallout 2 there was one you could save from a laboratory in some Enclave outpost place, and after you did that you could go to the Deathclaw cave and they wouldn't attack you. In fact, I believe they gave you a G.E.C.K., unless that was some other cave. I already have a Fat Man, a Flamer and a Missile Launcher, too, which are pretty damn powerful (though I haven't actually used any of them yet). If there's something better than the Fat Man, I'd love to see it :D . |
Finished Vanquish.
Sooooooooooo gooooooooooood |

I never got one of them. I spent 100 fucking hours on that game and I never saw the spaceship crash.
I dusted off Jade Cocoon 2 recently. I've finished all of the forests as of today. I only have to complete the 2-merge tourney before I can fight Wu. Then I'll still have a lot of jobs to do so that I can get the Drackich egg for my awesome drac team that I'm going to make to fight in the drac genus arena. I haven't completed ANY genus arenas yet (the most medals I have is 5 Alco, then 4 Mau, Ogg, Ku, Na and Bug) and I have many, many trophies to find. Amongst these trophies are remaining Mu and Ra which will cost 199,998 yen. I currently have ~180k so I may buy those soon. I'm also going to need to save some money so that I can finish evolving my team. So far there is only 1 DB (Tamatotch, who has been in my team from the start) with 6 merges. The rest are about to get to level 15 merge 5. I'm probably going to have to make 7 merges before I can beat Wu. Then I'll try to raise his team of larval Maus. I don't know why. |
I liked the first one, what's the plot for the second?

Missle Command on Game Room for XBL. *Sighs* The Cold War was so awesome.

Levant assembles people to go through the gate into the forest. These people, Devine Beasthunters, are trusted with the job of defeating the Kalma. You play as Kahu, a boy who's going to become a Beasthunter and a man to make his dad proud. After going through 4 levels of the training forest under the guidence of Levant, yo are cursed by a fairy and becomce possesed by a Kalma. Levant needs to preform a demonic summoning to remove the beast before it kills you. You need to find the 4 orbs of the forest so that he has the power to preform the ritual. You travel through the 4 elemental forests. These forests have 4 levels, each with 4 stages. Along the way you meet people who become your rivals. You fight these people many times throughout the forsets, and they eventually challenge you for the obrs when you get to them. There's more story, but I won't spoil that. There are lots of collectables to find in this game. Defeating Kalma, or seed beasts as they're reffered to when merging, gives you new abilities to merge with your beasts. There are lots of different attacks that can be used in lots of ways (although most people have similar fire and earth sides). Merging no longer changes your beasts physical attributes, though. There's more I could go on about, bu I'm short on time. |

After defeating the Kalma beast during the deamonic summoning (it's a really easy fight after the orb fights), Levant then turns evil (or some evil thing inside him finally takes control) and decides he's going to kill the God of the world. To do this, he'll need to summon a beast called Lilith.
Kahu then is blessed by a godess Mahbu and sprouts wings (you also get the ability to heal some pathetic amount of health to your beasts for the cost of a shield, but I never used that). He obtains the Kaya Key so that he can go into the forests of drakness in chase of Levant. He must re-obtain the 4 orbs so that he can open the gate to the Lilith nest. The forests of darkness are nothing like any of the other levels. There are several exits from some levels and they're structured like a maze. Some of the levels are really hard, too. There's a level in the dark fire forest that only has enemies that cast a sudden death spell. There are 2 dark earth levels that only have enemies that use Fossa Magna, an attack that reduces your beasts health to 1 unless it's 1, in which case it kills the beast. The Lilith nest is fairly straightforward untill you have to fight Levant. He swaps between 2 forms: Levant and a water Drack. Each form has seperate health. After defeating him, without break, you must fight the Lilith. The Lilith is an endurance test. She summons beasts to help her in battle that distract your beasts. I was screaming at my beasts for attacking her helpers instead of her. You need a really strong water side to recover a lot of HP and MP otherwise you won't be able to beat her. After beating the Lilith, you unlock new forest levels. After completing the new forest levels, you unlock new tournaments that you can enter. Once you beat all of these, you get to fight Wu who is the real final boss. I'm haven't completed all of the tournaments, but I've read about Wu's team. The sudden death and reduce-to-1-hp attacks mentioned earlier are present. He also has a decent healing side. It's not too good, though, otherwise he'd be impossible to beat. I strongly reccoment this game. There can easily be >200 hours here if you want to do it all. There are a couple of bugs that provent you obtaining 4-5 abilities, though. (This was longer that the last post ¬¬) |
So does beating Levant kill him, or was he just possessed or whatever?
|
Levant dies or goes to some higher plane of existance.

Pot-kettle.

Phylum, that's only funny when you say it to someone who isn't actually gay. Just so you know...

I've been playing Beat Hazard, Red Dead Redemption and Saw. All of them are fun.
Also, I rented King Kong (X360) from my friend and it's a fun adventure game with amazing visuals for it's time (2005). 9 achievements, 1000 gamerscore = Awesome. |
Decided to rent Alan Wake, holy shit, I can already tell Im going to love this game. I already beat Episode 1, seemed like a good introduction. The combat seems fine and I love its story telling in it, the way Alan narrates everything. Can anyone tell me the name of the song at the end of Episode 1? I love it, pretty sure I've heard it before, but cant recall a name.

I'm still playing Banjo-Tooie. I'm almost done Grunty Industries, but had to stop because it was beginning to give me a headache.
|
Haha Grunty Industries
I was so glad when I got all the jiggies there. |
I beat the hardest fight in Jade Cocoon 2. I'm going to come back to it later.
For now, onto FFVII. |
I've beat LoZ: TP and now i'm playing Jak 2 :D
