Sorry, I shouldn't have singled you out by quoting you specifically.

The quest for an answer continues then...

Does anyone know if there is a relevant connection between SW and AO/AE/MO? Never played SW, but cant figure out who the people are or where they are.

No direct connection seen so far, but we do know that the source of the Mongo River is where Ma'Spa (the Gabbit spawning grounds) is. So Stranger's actions may well affect Abe and Munch in the future.
The water level upstream of Sekto's dam drops drastically when Stranger destroys that. Though waterfalls between there and Ma'Spa prevent actual draining of the spawning grounds, these waterfalls no longer pour into pools but onto exposed areas of rock. This prevents the biannual migration of the Spiddy-Fish - a great, four-eyed creature which uses vortexes in waterfalls to draw itself up them. Without the Spiddy-Fish to consume the Very Mungy Algae that grows on the rocks in the pools near Ma'Spa, the stream will be overgrown with this invasive water-weed.
As the Very Mungy Algae spreads upstream toward Ma'Spa, the Rainbow Trounce that dwell in the wide, shallow pools will no longer be able to peck off the tiny crustaceans living on the pebbly bottoms, as the algae will get caught between their teeth - and they haven't yet invented toothbrushes. After some weeks, the Rainbow Trounce will die of starvation, and their rotting corpses will cause a rapid increase in the numbers of flesh-eating Spangle-Worrums. The Spangle-Worrums, having eaten all the Trounce corpses (and having extinguished any survivors) will spread upstream (travelling downstream is impossible past the waterfalls). Though baby Gabbits are too bony for the Spangle-Worrums' liking, Freshwater Anenomenonemones are considerably more to their tastes. Freshwater Anemonomenenomes, as everyone knows, are large and delicious-looking. However, they are also filled with a deadly gas. The Spangle-Worrums, upon eating them, will explode with massive and fiery explosions!!!, WIPING MA'SPA OFF THE MAP BWAHAHA!!!! |
How come even though the Glukkons are the richest they are forced to work for the Khanzumerz?
I'm asking this because the Glukkons have the most money power and the Vikkers the scentific one so.... what's left that is making the Khanzumerz so overwhelming? Maybe they are excanging their products for something else than money like eternal life for their sick queen? And in that case does the Khanzumerz have spiritual power like mudokons? It will be fun if it turn out the really bad guys are corrupted mudokons who seek eternal life. |
The Khanzumerz are Oddworld's consumers. It's unknown whether they're a specific species or if it's just the Oddworld word for them, but either way that's where all the Glukkons' moolah comes from.
The Glukkons are not the wealthiest species on Mudos. They're just one of the relatively powerful families seen so far. The reason why they work so hard to raise money is because if they don't hit certain revenue targets, Queen Margaret's grandmother will be revived and the shit will hit the fan.
That's the reason Maggie works so hard, I doubt regular Glukkons go about worrying, or even knowing, about that. The reason they work hard is the same reason we do: To pay the rent and buy things they want.
Sorry to bother you again but someone can tell me how are oddworld inabitant financial condition? Are oddworld games selling well? Are they having budget problems in making the next game?
Wull that's no help for him MM.
I don't think we are certain but something must be going right if they're re-starting up again. I suppose you should wait for a mod (not OANST) to answer your question because they will be most accurate. Not OANST |
Well their upcoming releases are games they made between five and twelve years ago (or more), so that should answer your question.
:
The idea is that these re-releases will drum up revenue for production again.

Stick and stoggies.
They like moolah, they like power, this is a combination for maximum success alone minus business smarts...although not all Glukkons are interested in financial gain...just look at Dripik.
The same Dripik who wears dozens of medals for earning lots of profit?
The same Dripik who lives in a shitty little executive room with medals for owning a poorly functioning slig barracks penetrated...yes penetrated by Abe, I reckon he was just in it for the name and the power. Especially when the levels of the slig barracks seem to be held together with copper wire and tissues.

Still me...:dodgy:
If i kill the most number of mudokons in exodux do i get some weird message? And in munch what appen if you save or kill the most number of mudokons and fuzzles? (i diden't get to play munch so i'm waiting the oddbox:fuzsad:) |
Yes, you get special message in exoddus. And invulnerability too.
Infinite grenades are in Oddysee. You get invulnerability in Exoddus (which can also be activated with a cheat).
Does anyone know the story of OA1, I never got past the flintlock temple and therefore never found out what happens. I know it's Abe but like alternate to AO where he starts in the wilderness of paramonia. Oh and is Paramonia and Rupturefarms the only places in OA1
