Pellets, despite their name immediately bringing to mind the image of BB's, are more like bullets. Typically they're made of a soft, semi-malleable metal that will flatten on impact to avoid injury and keep you from reusing them over and over. They vary in shape from completely flat tipped, to hollow point .22 Calibre pellets about the size of your pinky fingernail.

Pellets need to have a 'skirt' at the bottom, partly for an aerodynamic design and partially so that they create a seal down the barrel, allowing them to be fired.

A BB is a minuscule sphere. They usually hurt less than pellets and require less pressure to launch. Most BB's are made from Copper or painted lead.

i had some of those. they're quite good. i also had some Logun Penetrator pellets. good at close range, otherwise they're a bit too heavy.

all i have at the moment are pointed pellets. i don't believe they're as effective as domed pellets.

God, if I didn't know you were all talking about pellets the name of the pellet brand and the pellet 'logo' would have made me think of different things.

I have a german WW2 helmet hidden away somewhere in my garage.

My friends think it's haunted, if that's so, then we got lucky with a chill german soldier ghost that just likes closing doors a lot.

I just re-obtained the Oddworld: The First Ten Years book! I used to have it... but my mom basically took it when I moved out. I'm sure it ended up sold off with the rest of our stuff.. but anyway, I have it again after 4 years! It's so good to have it back, that book is amazing. The only thing I wanted for Christmas. And i got a cool Oddworld iron on patch. I also have The Super Mario Bros. movie, and Alien vs. Predator Omnibus comic. I was gonna ppost pics... but my phone is being dumb.
