Sligs don't seem the type, and I doubt Sligs eyes glow so much to create the intensity we see there, or aprticularly in the visors in the PS1 games when they show up in shadows and such.

Slig concept images without masks appear to show black, beady eyes, and descriptions and notes near the pictures seem to say this also.

If something is fully extinct, it's usually technically impossible to bring it back (unless eggs and dna are somehow preserved, then cloning may be possible). It is assumed some meeches live elsewhere in the world, due to the 'Southern Meech Diet' that, uh...don't remember the name, but that overweight Mudokon was eating to lose weight. I suppose at least, Meeches are extinct from the areas around Rupturefarms, as it sucked them all in. Presumably some elsewhere, though.

Some of the questions here don't have any information on them, simply because it doesn't seem important to this Oddworld. Like how long the factories were built. OWI might later say how fast production happens in Oddworld, since that would seem to at some point important. But yet, it doesn't seem to matter much.

Something tells me you're just asking questions for the sake of it. That's not what this thread is for. Some of those questions are worthy of being asked here, such as 'Was there ever a good slig/ bad mudokon?' The short answer to this one is: yes. The long answer: In a black-and-white stereotypical world, all sligs are bad and all mudokons are good, but there will always be a 'black meep' in the crowd, different from all the others. That hasn't been seen in any games yet, but it's only a matter of time.

The questions that shouldn't be here are the ones that either nobody cares about (i.e aren't relevant to any storyline, character etc.) and/or ones that only require a bit of imagination, as Used said.
If you want any questions you have to be answered, please read the first post of this thread before posting here. There are links that will guide you to already-answered questions, as well as very reliable sources from other sites. Do this before posting! There is also a search feture that allows you to search for things inside threads, use that too.

Take a gander at the other Q&A threads, and make sure to read through them, they should give you an idea of what to post and what not to. Glukkons eyes glow because of their poor eyesight, due to the fact that they like in dark/really bright rooms their entire lives i supposed they evolved like that after years of isolation in a factory. Same goes for sligs. they have really poor eyesight. that's why they wear masks that cover their eyes, to improve vision. Perhaps in oddworld poor eyesight is represented with glowing eyes. and evil, of course. but maybe not evil, maybe just anger... madness, insaneness... I'm not sure why their eyes glowed in the first place. to look scarier?

I had a few questions about the Oddworld Art Book. On page 230, the Chronicler, does he have one leg that has two feet connected to it? Or two VERY thin legs? And on page 26, on the top left corner, is that a baby Slig unmasked or something?

Much love to anyone who answers Alf's question, twice the love to someone who can show me the pic of the supposed Slig baby.

Also two things:

1) @ Zerox: The Meech diet was a joke, thats how Buddy lost so much weight. Just think about it. If your diet was strictly dodo bird exclusive wouldn't you lose a lot of weight?
