You've been sitting in front of the Jacob too long...

'It's not a f*cking fact. It's YOUR opinion. In MY opinion he looked like Prince Harry in the first picture - if you think he doesn't then that's your OPINION. There are no "facts" for something like that.'

Do you have to swear constantly? It's so common and unnecessary.

And on the opinion thing, one could have the opinion that all Monkeys could fly. It'd be a fact that they couldn't - but it'd be my opinion that they could. So technically opinions do enter into the equation.

A fact is something you can't have an opinion on, and if you do, then you're either misinformed or an idiot.

It's as simple as that.

Majic 05-23-2004 12:54 PM

In more complex situations, namely politics, creation/evolution, abortion, etc... Important things. There are scientific studies, plenty of facts, yet enough opinion input from everywhere that no sure answer is ever agreed upon.

Death doesn't swear that much. I've seen/heard worse. My stance on constant swearing makes me think the individual can't think of any creative word usage. It seems like today many people use the f word as an adjective.

Example: "Ah, what f*cking day it is! The f*cking sun is out and the f*cking birds are singing in the f*cking air. It's so f*cking nice, I think I'll go for a f*cking swim."

I swear to give people an idea about the tone of the post, nothing more.

I can be creative if I want but it doesn't seem to draw the same attention and seriousness to the matter really...

Aww thanks!!!! I change my hair all the time, sometimes it's bright red, sometimes it's blonde, sometimes it's 5 different shades of red and blonde, sometimes it's brown. I'm fickle! :)

And yes that's Abbey my dalmatian, hehe who is white with black spots, don't know why I said black and white spotted in the other post! :)

VaniLLaKiLLah 05-24-2004 08:38 AM

i remember that!
i imagined how a dalmatian in black with white spots would look like. funny.
i totally forgot to reply in the pet-thread.
BTW: thanx for the PM.

Merlin is sweet!

Greyhounds can be extremely affectionate... (just don't let any 2 year old relatives run around in front of it!... sorry! Sick joke!)

So how long after your arrival from Russia did you get him?
Is he yours?

I have a dog but its my "family pet" Bonnie's not "mine" if you know what I mean!?!

Shhhhhh! Fuzzles!

My Bonnie is 14 this year! Sush! ... She ain't never gonna die!... no!... not listening!... never!... gonna live forever!

The Red Muse 05-25-2004 03:50 AM

*sniffs* I had a dog too... She was a labrador retriever and she was the most sweetest thing ever! But she died... to a heart attack.

I can still remember the day when I got home from school and my parents told me that Emma was gone. It was so awful... *sniff* :crying:

Ah, well... anyway...

Yeah.

Lovely dogs^^

Fuzzles! 05-25-2004 03:57 AM

CB - I know it's an awful thought. I look at her and can't imagine her not being around.

Muse, we had 2 yellow labs when I was younger, Nikki and Indy. They weren't related but the two of them passed very close to one another (they were 2 years apart, so they passed at 12 and 14). It was just awful. I always wonder why I get a pet when I know I'll have to suffer when they are no longer here. :(

oddguy 05-25-2004 04:33 AM

I myself lost one of the best cats I ever knew. It was a while back, but I sometimes find myself a little sad over the whole thing. My cats' name was Spirit. I think I liked him so much becuase he reminded me of a dog, minus the drool. He never used the literbox, he insisted on being let outside. He'd come when you called for him. He'd kill mice and moles and leave them on our doorstep. My dad would tell Spirit he was feeding the family with the mice he left us as a running joke. Great times. I miss the little guy.

The thing is, he died of unnatural causes. Some guy who had a crush on my sister would always come by the house uninvited like some leech. He was weird too. He'd talk about how fun it was to torture small animals. Anyway, it started creeping us out, so my Dad told him that it'd be best if he didn't come by anymore. Next thing we know, Spirit is gone.

Well, I was about 10 at the time, so I'm cool. Dude, that guy was soo weird though. He'd say he was abducted by aliens and how he was part warthog. No joke. He actually believed this stuff. He was 16...way too old to be making up weird stories like that.
