Hi

Your probably all bursting to know what I look like, so here I am!

I warn you, if your not already sitting down, do so before you see this...
I get alot of flak about how I look, I am essential a goth. So I don't mind if you have a problem with it...

Reese...

Joshy 05-31-2003 06:02 AM

I didn't expected you to look like that....

Xavier 05-31-2003 07:29 AM

nice picture... is it make up or an computer edited?

Reese Charles 05-31-2003 08:31 AM

Nope, thats not a computer enhanced image, its makeup!
My vanity is cosmic.

Lol, only joking, I use a wipe off stage makeup. Before I had that stuff, I found that watercolour paint was about the best, because that washes off easily with soap and water, and its easy to apply...

Aren't I a little freak?

You seem to have confused 'Gothic' with 'Zebra'...

You have the potential to be cute if you wasnt such a loser...

True Gothicness

Thats a site which has pics of a club i go to. Many of my friends and family are on there...i, so far, have not been able to find myself. Feel free to scavenge through the volts of amazingness...

Xavier 05-31-2003 11:52 AM

here is my pic as goth, but I can't find some good make up here in belgium, If someone knows some good I would be intrested

Reese Charles 05-31-2003 12:48 PM

Your both forgetting that you can only see my face in that picture there...

I have a very original look, I call it "Alienist" but it does fit in to goth. There are of course many types of goth, but the general idea is to be so different that people actually stay away from you.
You have Vampires, Depressed, Mourner, Devils Advocate, and many more types of Goth.

I have loads of armour rings and studded cuffs etc. Along with often multicoloured hair and absolutely mad clothes.

I like being a raver, but I also like being a goth. So, I mixed goth with raver and got a really neat and insane look...

As far as I am concerned though, if its a photo of yourself to show people how you look, its the face thats important...

As far as being cute is concerned Jacob, I have to say that I am not homosexual, and if you are female, then you are the first female that I have met who have called themselves "Jacob". I wouldn't consider myself a loser however, I think that it is obvious that we are not getting along so I do expect stuff like this...

I appreciate that you think I am cute though, I do my best. :)

Jacob 05-31-2003 12:53 PM

Oooohh, Xav you have those finger things, i've always wanted them but i'm too Trendy to get some. I'm getting some new clothes for re-enrolling at College though. I'm getting some black jeans from a random Trendy shop. An amazingly amazing Red t-shirt from Topman and maybe, like, a black shirt to go underneathe. And then a black tie with a diamond cross in the corner from Claires accessories. The whole Goth look is in this year...i'm dying my hair black aswell soon, hopefully. I'm not going overly Gothic...just enough to be thooper.

Alcar 05-31-2003 12:58 PM

I'm doing the exact opposite at the end of this year Jacob. I'll be bleaching my hair blonde, I always used to be blonde but in the past few years it naturally "dyed itself" to brown.

The reason i'll be doing it at the end of this year is so that I can start at my new school with the blonde hair and not have to change it, because they'll think that it's my natural colour! Yay!

Hopefully I won't immediately loose all intelligence I had beforehand to my sheer dum-blondeness :D

those claws were realy cheap (3euros)... but it is realy shit, one of them is allready broken (I have to buy an other of better quality, when I hvae some money)
I find it a bit sad that the gothic look is becoming too "in", because gothic isn't only a way of clothing, it's also a way of thinking

Reese Charles 05-31-2003 12:59 PM

HEHEHE!

Whenever I do something it automaticly becomes the trend! My originality is forever doomed to a long drawn out death!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

And in the same year I decide to go really gothic with the face makeup!

Its just not fair I tell you!

Reese...

EDIT: Xavier, I buy all my rings online from Alchemy Gothic, I suggest you try their website...

Xavier 05-31-2003 01:01 PM

same thing here... I dress black for ages, and when I decide to buy some "jewelery" it is becoming "in"

are we models?

edit: I know alchemy gothic (just take a look at the posters behind me) but It is realy expencive and I can't find a good online site

Jacob 05-31-2003 01:04 PM

:

because gothic isn't only a way of clothing, it's also a way of thinking
I'm highly superficial as are many of my kind, lol, so we just see something pretty and buy it without thinking of -
The consequences
The people who made it
What it stands for etc

What you mean its a way of thinking? In what way do Goths think differently from others?

:

Whenever I do something it automaticly becomes the trend!
I find it doubtful people will be becoming Furries for a trend...

Reese Charles 05-31-2003 01:05 PM

Dunno Xav, but all my life I have bought into things pretty much the day they have come into fasion.

Maybe humans are more alike from person to person than we think?

Also, I think it might have something to do with the increased media attention on Goths...

Reese...

PS: Alcar, if your going to get your hair done blonde, then I have a piece of advice, be prepared for major scalp irritation. Your hair wont get "dyed" blonde, it will be bleached with a strong peroxide. Once you have it dyed, stay away from chlorine swimming pools as this causes your hair to go green...

Xavier 05-31-2003 01:09 PM

well Jacob I'm a bit superficial too so I don't know exactly what it is, but most of goth have realy black Ideas (I do sometimes) but lets keep it simple:
Goths (anyway the ones I know) follow the satanic rules of La Vey, wich aren't stupid at all (not pretending they are the best thing ever)

there are plenty definitions of gothism on internet and it is impossible to know exactly what it is, I only know one thing for sure, you are a goth or you aren't, you can't become one

Oh curses.

It'll be Summer over here at the end of school. And a scorcher of a Summer at that. What's worse is that I love swimming...

Goths were originally ancient Germans. Although I am unsure about the link between the German Goths, and the Gothic era, I beleive it to be a combination of the two, to have started this particular following. During a time of Spartans, Barbarians, Vikings, Celts and the beginnings of the Roman empire, its difficult to discern any kind of culture amidst the history we have about battles and warriors etc.

I do know that it has alot to do with Alchemy, and that Gothic beleifs lye within a following of god defying science. As far as the Alchemists could see, God was preventing them from making all the valuable advances in science, and Satan was not, therefore they trusted in Satan.

Pretty logical when you think about it.

I am looking a bit inconspicuous here...

Jacob 05-31-2003 09:26 PM

See, you can look cute. If you stopped being a loser and an "Alienist" you have the potential to be my type...

However, i've already labelled so its too late for you...

Reese Charles 06-01-2003 08:05 PM

I don't look like I do in the photo most of the time however, I change my look from day to day...
Rescently I had my face silver and my hair blue like that guy off of MuDvAyNe. It looked pretty rad...

Jacob 06-01-2003 08:26 PM

I am interested to know how that is supposed to make you a better person. I was always under the impression that the people who say things like that were the losers...

Dipstikk 06-18-2003 05:24 PM

This is a picture of stinky ol' me.

You'll notice I don't follow trends in this picture. I don't like trends. Too confusing.

Al the Vykker 06-18-2003 07:38 PM

Heres another photo taken on a trip to Nashville. As you can notice this is extracted from a larger photo, including about ten other people.

Ill try to get a newer one with my shorter haircut now

It depends on the person stating such randomness. Please stop trying to bait me, it's really irritating...

Thankyou for saving me the trouble of pointing that out...

I'm presuming you want to look like your "aaaall that"? Not that, thats a critism, i like your black tie and shades by the by. Would have looked better minus the blue shirt [and when i say that i mean with another colour, not toplessness]

Abe16 06-18-2003 08:19 PM
