Sorry to be a n00b, but what exactly is Sony Submission? Had a Google but I couldn't seem to find anything of any worth on the subject.
It means submitting the game to Sony who will run tests on the game, and if it qualifies, Sony will allow JAW to publish the game for their systems.
Back in the days of the NES, developers had to go through the same process to have their game gain the Nintendo seal of quality. It's nothing to do with how good a game is, but basically making sure that the game runs smoothly on the system without any significant bugs or crashes. |
Am I the only one who actually doesn't want to see any more screenshots? Like, they're looking amazing but that's the problem. They're like spoilers Dx

Thank you Alex for making my week!
And yeah @Nep, I'm on the same boat. But I can't look away and say no. They're just so damn juicy looking. And Alex, this is an extreme request I'm making, but is there any chance next week you could pull out a gif loop of a scrab "dancing" on its prey hopping up and down? You know, after it kills something? I need to make a party hard gif for when NnT is released lol :) Keep up the wicked work! We hath faith in thee! :) |

Not sure if anyones mentioned this, but will Abe's tattoos show as you progress? as in, will he have 1 tattoo showing while going through Scrabania/ Paramonia and both there after? That would be wicked :D
Yeah, and the fact that they are on two separate screens distracts from the fact that they look exactly the same.
I love the fact that we are going to see fireflies used more. Although i wouldn't necessarily need them, I only saw them a couple of times in the original, and there were tons of unused ones that i have seen in some footage somewhere
Looking sweet. But I also share Nep's spoilery concerns!

I'm about to say something no doubt controversial- In the original, I never really cared for the Monsaic Lines. Not sure why.
However, from what I've seen of New n' Tasty so far, I can say that the Monsaic Lines are looking like they'll be my new favourite level. The detail, in particular the soft mossy look to the surfaces, looks amazing. You get a much better sense of scale with the shift in perspective. |

Monsaic Lines sucked. It was too easy. But then again how do you make a sacred mudokon temple difficult?
So you want the place where Mudokons go to meditate and find themselves to be difficult? Do you guys not realise the setting is designed to be easy?
Well Monsaic Lines seems to be more of a developed tutorial for gamers who have blazed through the first half of the game without really rescuing anyone or possessing any Sligs.

I actually really enjoyed the Monsaic lines, it gives the player a break from the game as you literally jump straight into action. It's not just that though, the scenery and the story telling of the Monsaic Lines really brings the game together for me.
Monsaic Lines is one of my favourite areas.
Well, Monsaic Lines is a sort of mini hub, I'd hardly blame it for lacking challenge.
It did have some challenge for new players though. After the first run, the mimicing puzzles just got irritating.
That's why the only cheat I ever really used was the instant puzzle solving one. It also helped skip the bell chimes in a speed run too
