I've grown tired of this thread constantly just people posting youtube videos of bands they like, so I'd like to spark a new conversation:

Anyone here play any instruments? I play guitar mainly, but I dabble in piano and drums.

also, if there are any other guitar players on OWF (which i'm sure there are), could anyone recommend me a decent fuzz pedal? I'm looking for that explosions in the sky/mono kind of fuzz sound. Thanks

I was pretty damn good at Bass when I used to play it often, stopped though. Im sure I could play it still , just not as well.

Guitar, but I don't use fuzz pedals so I can't recommend you on that point. Been heavy on playing it as well, like whenever I have a free moment. And now I have to go buy a new guitar cable because one of them is faulty.

Also, I'm looking for a wah-wah pedal which I might get this week xD... oh, and a Line 6 Spiderjam amplifier, but that might have to be next months investment.

I played bass a few years ago for a few months and was getting quite good, then I had to fuck everything up by giving it to a lend to my friend. Since he was right handed, he changed the strings upside down and the whole thing was out of tune. Then he further fucked up by breaking two of the strings, now it saddens me it lays in complete disrepair in his shitty room.

Two weeks into when I had it, I was tightening the D string and I was in conversation with a friend and it snapped and flung past my hand, scratching it and near missing my eye. Went and got a replacement a few days later, but they gave me a fucking A string instead.

I have always tried to keep clear of the strings whilst I'm tuning them. They can fucking hurt.

I've always had bad experiences with the sax. I always bite into my lower lip when I'm playing, and for a long time, keeping my thumb stretched over the octave key was incredibly painful. That's not so bad any more, though. It's still a beautiful instrument.

I enjoy the sound of the saxophone, but I couldn't see myself playing one. It's one of those things I have where I'd rather observe than partake in.

OTC was favorite band for years and years. I've seen them live multiple times, have a hand drawn shirt by Will Hart, and tons of rarities from them.

On the rare occasions that I smoke pot, Black Foliage is still my go to album for the best thing to listen to while high.

Admittedly, this is my first entry into the world of OTC. I've heard of them many times in the past, but this is my first listening experience with them.
