Aw :( Why so exclusive?

Sekto Springs 12-06-2009 06:19 PM

I refuse to rethink anything I do. That's for losers.
Also, your location will not save you from the scorn of the Havoc.

Aw :( Why so exclusive?

Because no-one else wanted to come to Melbourne, before Taco came along. It was only exclusive by association, not by exclusion. So to speak.

Sekto Springs 12-06-2009 06:48 PM

Melbourne doesn't even exist. Nate's just being snobby.

Take in to account that Oddtour Melb was going to be just me and Peter. Then rethink your post.

Tehehehe.

ODDTOUR FOLKS:

I suppose, after some collaboration, that we'll be tentatively planning the US Oddtour Roadtrip for April/May some time. Considering the costs involved I think it is going to be appropriate for there to be a 'buy in' to share the cost of gas/lodging/food/stuff equally, if you are going to be part of the trip. People who want to want to meet up obviously don't need a 'buy in' but gratuity is appreciated. :D

I'll be working on the numbers pretty soon to see about what I expect each participant should bring. Oh and by the way, I'm not doing the road trip with any less than three people. This means three bodies, myself and two others. The more people, the less we each have to pot.

Everyone's invited, even the improbable attendance of overseas members is encouraged.

I have to admit my favorite out of those is the baby which gradually starts crying.

My idea for a roadtrip is an admitted stretch, just because aside from OWF's 'clique' members, the thought of meeting up with internet peeps is unthinkable. Plus, our 18+ membership here is just about limited to our 'senior clique' demographic, most of which are in UK or Australia. Pity. Also, I'm not considering anyone who's not a 'forum regular,' nor under 18 for participation.

OANST 12-17-2009 10:57 AM

I'm over 18, and I don't live in Australia.

I actually would be willing to put up with you guys for a few days. Three would probably be my cut off point. Could be fun.

Pilot 12-17-2009 11:17 AM

Definitely be fun. Okay, you're in for a visit once we figure out the rest of the details. By 'put up with' do you mean you're willing to 'put us up' or would other arrangements be necessary?

I could put you up for a few days. We have enough room to sleep two more people. More if beds were being shared.

Pilot 12-17-2009 11:28 AM

Cool.

More if beds were being shared.
Yeah, that's not likely to happen, though the seats in the Rambler fold down into a full bed so Chris can sleep there!

It's all coming to fruition.

OANST 12-17-2009 11:31 AM

Be warned. I am an extraordinarily boring person.

Wings of Fire 12-17-2009 11:31 AM

It's true.

Pilot 12-17-2009 11:31 AM

I think we all are, we just pretend to be mighty and glorious on the internetz.

He with the tightest T shirt, wins.

Wings of Fire 12-17-2009 11:33 AM

I like how the last three posts were all in the same minute.

Pilot 12-17-2009 11:36 AM

The key is:

*crickets*

You're really hearing the crickets in your mind now. That's how the magic works. Creepy, huh?

It's true.

You're cruising for an oanstfraction. I can give those out again, you know.

He'll not only brand you with a Scarlet "O"... but he'll also inhale your ear.

I have a feeling I know what the London OddTour is going to be like:

Wow, thank you. If that post can be called anything, it's Relevant.

MA 12-17-2009 03:32 PM

he may have gotten mixed up between this and B&P. i've done that a few times, seeing as they resemble each other so much.

and by that i mean full of interesting stuff that makes me chuckle.

Pilot 12-17-2009 03:33 PM

Hmm? I was just complimenting him on a post well done.

Whoa, it's like you were watching the last one.

Sekto Springs 12-18-2009 07:39 PM

Why am I the one that has to sleep in the car?
Thassum ol' buwlshit.

It's probably for the best though. Of the three of us that are currently attending, I'm definitely the one Mat likes least. Also he would not trust me around his child, I'm sure of that.

Pilot 12-18-2009 09:20 PM

Blah blah blah whinge whinge. Whatever!

You'll like my car. It has clear plastic slip covers on the seats and everything.

Sekto Springs 12-18-2009 09:24 PM

Justin, shut up and come back when you're a little...
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmh

...richer.

Pilot 12-18-2009 09:29 PM

I'm not rich enough for you?
