I just had a flick through these sprites and they are all awesome.

Keep up the good work. I plan to make an Oddworld Adventures sprite sheet with extra stuff at some point.

Hulaabeo asked for me to animate his sprites to make sure they worked so I have. But I posted them here instead of sending them to him over PM because this way everyone can get at them and I can get rep :D.

Just a few things Hulaabeo. First is that the sprites on your sheet are not in animation order which could confuse some people. The other (this ones a lot more important) is that your sideways sprites are missing a hole section, whereas he should use one foot after the other you've just done the first foot a second time and as a result his arm only swings backward.

Other then that they work great.

Well making sprites is a form of art. It takes a certain skill... that I just don't have. So luckily we have suckers errr friends who are willing to make sprites of things. Save a sprite sheet made by one of these spriters then use paint/photoshop/etc and cut out each sprite from the sheet. Save each sprite individually and upload them with game maker. Good luck.

Hehe love you for it. If you're feeling up to it why not try spriting a Vykker? I don't think I've seen anyone do one yet.

J_Dude, I really suggest you ask him if you can use those sprites, it's not fair if you just take them. And edit your last post if you need to post again, instead of making more.

I didn't think Arxryl was online to ask anymore. Besides, I was under the impression that he was happy for anyone to use his sprites so long as credit was given when due.

He said he'd asked. He said nothing about getting a reply. Arxryl wouldn't have needed to be online for what he says to be true. Although a month is a long time to have "just started".

I'm not that good at drawing but I have a couple of idea's for more sprite positions like: Slig talking, Paramite running/hopping and Scrab running. I also know of some characters that weren't included: Elum, Shrykull, Meeches and big bro sligs.:fuzsmile:

What? So many awesome sprites and no demo using these yet? O.o

I can use my existing engine and make a quick platform game demo. :D But, there are no tiles i.e. no background for the demo. :( Pity. I can place some random tile-art, though.

Further, it'd be great if jumping and hanging animation frames were drawn for Abe. :)

I was under the impression this thread had died twice already (correct me if I'm wrong).
Many demos have been made using these sprites, clearly you are not looking in the right places.
If you really do wish to successfully resurrect this thread you could have at least added to the sprites with some works of your own.
If you really want these alternative positions done you could try editing on your own but if that proves unsuccessful I shall see what I can do
