Free weekend and -75% sale on Gratuitous Space Battles. You create various ship designs, place them on the battlefield by spending a set amount of credits and watch them fight the enemy fleet. Emphasis is on designing your ships, you have no control over them once the fight starts, so not much action to be had, but if you like watching space battles, you might like this one. All it did for me was wanting to go back to Imperium Galactica 2.

Guns of Icarus is also on a -66% sale. Steampunkesque multiplayer game where smaller teams man airships and battle each other in the skies. Players take different roles, they can man the guns, repair broken equipment, steer the ship, spot enemy ships, extinguish fires, etc. It looks good, sounds promising, I'm considering getting this one.

It wasn't back then, I just wanted to work so I could buy my stuff without asking my parents for money. Gaming can be a very expensive hobby, so I had two options. Buying stuff very slowly and dirt cheap(or even not buying anything at all) or I could work and get everything I wanted, when I wanted.
