I beat the I Wanna Be The Guy levels in Super Meat Boy, last night. I felt like curling up in a ball and crying when it was over.

Jak 2 is pretty awesome, but the vehicles segments piss me off

Still Alan Wake, Im enjoying the story and atmosphere. But holy shit, this game has some pacing problems. Episode 3 is like the second LOTR movie in that there have been at least 3 instances where I said, it probably ends after this. Split it up or make it shorter. Right now Im just running through, dropping flares like wildfire so I dont have to stop and fight.

EDIT: Fuck you Episode 3, fucking showing me how far the current objective is. Alan would probably die of exhaustion before the darkness got him at this rate.

I think that I would have enjoyed it more if there weren't so many places where enemies would constantly respawn. I like the ability to investigate an area once I've cleared it of enemies.

Hmm, Alan Wake is on sale right now for 19,95€. Should I buy it?

I might end up getting it just because I want to support Remedy. They are Finnish. :D

I guess Kinect launched today. That means I can tell you fuckers all about it. I've had it for, over a month now. I havent played it much though. From what I did play, demos of Kinect Sports and Joyride, the controls are surprisingly responsive. I found myself having fun playing some of it, but there was part of me that said, it would be more fun with a controller. Might just be me. You can play it sitting down too. They let us keep the Kinect, but Im hoping that MS' marketing does magic, and make this thing sell like hotcakes, so that I can sell it on Ebay for $500.

At the moment I am xboxless. Would you say it would be worthwhile to invest in a new 360 and Kinect in one splurgetastic paycheque sometime soon?

Like every console, it comes down to the software. Joyride was pretty fun, and I will be able to tell you all about Kinect Adventures tomorrow. A lot of the launch titles look like shit, right now, I say wait for a couple months at least, see what else comes out for it. Also, it takes pictures of you while you play.

EDIT: Watching a video on Ubisoft's fitness game, they seem to know how to use the Kinect correctly, so, that looks sorta fun.

Steel Battalion is the only reason I'd ever, EVER consider buying Kinect.

The only reason I'd consider buying Kinect is because Rare makes most of the games, and I consider myself something of a Rare fanboy. I probably won't buy Kinect, though. Wii is good enough for motion shit to me.

Rare fanboy or no, you can't seriously tell me that you think Kinect Sports is a good use of their talents.
