Yes...it's cruel I know...

AckroTheSlig 11-19-2009 02:21 PM

Ooc: Cruel?.. More like retarded, how am I suppose to know when 24 hours is up?
Ugh, why can't this be a civil role play like all the others on the web.

MarsMudoken 11-19-2009 02:31 PM

Splat says he was in an RPG but they all posted when he was sleeping. So this is to stop people from excessive posting so no one is left in the dust.

AckroTheSlig 11-19-2009 02:35 PM

Ugh.. Again, how the heck am I suppose to know when 24 hours from now is up? -_-

Use your common sense?

You post in the rpg, go about your day, then you sleep, then you wake up and then you can post again. Repeat this cycle...

AckroTheSlig 11-19-2009 02:54 PM

Mm.. Thanks T-Nex, even though I didn't ask for your opinion.
What I was saying is what if I post early when someone replies to one of my post's.
Since we're in different time zones?..
Yeah, think next time. ._.

Yeah, think next time. ._.

If you post on a forum, you automatically ask for everyone's opinions. Quit being a whiny baby.
There's a reason for everything, and this rule is very thought through. It's just a rule to keep things from being messy.

Honestly, I'm really tired of your crying over absolutely everything. Things have worked extremely fine this way, and you not being able to follow the rules is your own problem.
This rpg can survive with or without you, so no changes are going to be made for you.

So yeah.. Think next time.

[-- ooc --]

Just look at the time of your last post!

[-- IC --]

"Hey, stop!" shouted one of the other Sligs. Tok glanced at him.
"Why should I?" he spat. "This little - "
"Gah! How dare you, this is your, fault ya goon!" yelled a voice from behind him. It was the blue weirdo.
"Hey, let's calm down," said the Slig Tok though was called Flad. "If you haven't noticed, we're surrounded by Paramites. You," he said to Tok, "No shooting. Who knows how the Paramites will react to that? Your the one we're after," he added to the native. "I'm keeping my eye on you."
Tok walked over to Flad. "This native - " he began, angrily, then something hit him in the face and felt himself smash to the ground. Blinking, he saw Flad go flying too; the terrorist glowed blue and whirred. Then he shot off at high speed before spinning out of control and crashing head-first into a wall.
"Get 'im!" shouted Tok, but nobody listened to him, probably because they'd already posted.
Then a Big Bro came out of the shadows. "Which of you guys got him?"
"Um... well... nobody. He just... Knocked himself out," said Flad, and laughed. "Anyway, looks like the animals have gone, so this makes our job a bit easier."
Ackro, at this point, wandered away again. "There he goes again," murmured Flad, and went over to Mars' body. "Anyone gonna help me carry him? I'm sure there must be somewhere in this huge factory where we can lock him up until we can find out what he's doing here. I suppose one of you knows your way around the factory. I doubt anyone wants to stay down here any longer."
"I'll help carry him," said Tok, grabbing the terrorist's legs. "In fact, I reckon I can carry him by my - " there was a pause as Tok tried to life Mars' legs " - er, yeah. Anyone want to help me 'n Flad carry this guy?"

~short post but I can't really go any further by myself.

Every system sucks. We have idiots in charge of our planet, we're encouraged to kill ourselves with smokes, and people sell oil for car's fuel even though it destroys the ozone. Them being in charge are apocalyptic, Splat being in charge is irritating. All he does is delay awesome RPGing. It happens anyways. You just have to be patient.

AND SPLAT IS GOING TO KILL ME! :D

Gretin 11-19-2009 03:13 PM

OOC: What T-nex said.

EDIT: And Mars, I thought I explained to you the purpose of that rule. In my opinion Splat is running things just fine. It's about making sure that everyone can be involved, not just the people who have plenty of spare time to waste on it - it's fairer this way than giving everyone free rein so those who have limited time miss out, even if it doesn't seem fair when you do have plenty of time. And you yourself were unable to post for a while, what would you have done if there was no limit to posting so there were 50 posts for you to have to react to between your last post? If there was no limit many of the players, including myself, would just get frustrated and leave.

And I just found out while looking up some W@RF history yesterday that there was previously a character named Ralph, nothing like the current one though :p
And yes Splat, perhaps Ralph and Jim should... go somewhere and... do... something, but I'm open to suggestions :p

IC:

Things started happening very suddenly now, but Hembar just stood still with the meech (Crunchy) hiding behind her until the native mudokon (Mars) very anti-climatically crashed into the wall, knocking himself out.

Realising that none of these sligs were ones she'd seen before, she figured that none of them would recognise her either, which meant they wouldn't know she was also a native!

She quickly looked at Anni and realised that the chances were that nobody was supposed to be down here, but if they didn't ask she wasn't going to bring it up!

She was going to offer to help the two sligs carry the unconscious mudokon, but realised it'd probably look kind of suspicious considering there were plenty enough sligs to do it.

Deciding waiting was the best option, she still just stood there, with any luck she could just make herself scarce and get away without any questions.

Splat 11-19-2009 03:33 PM

Yeah, think next time. ._.

That was... pretty rude.

Ackro, the idea is you can post IC twice between each midnight IN YOUR TIME-ZONE.
It works because everyone else is doing the same thing, and stops people getting flooded out of the RPG.

As for your comment against T-nex, it was rude, it was self-righteous and it was stupid! Clearly she is more able to think than you and you are making yourself so unpopular right now. We've tried to be fair and welcoming to you but you are doing yourself no favours.

:

Quit being a whiny baby.

That pretty much summons up what everyone is thinking about you, I think. We are not all out to get you, but you've got to learn to accept criticism or you won't even be able to get a job in Real Life. You can't take every attempt to give you advice as a personal attack.

:

Splat being in charge is irritating. All he does is delay awesome RPGing.

Yeah, let's address this;
1) The PPD rule wasn't made up by me; it was made by Dripik. I enforce it 'cus as mod, I have to enforce the rules though, as with the other rules, I think it's a pretty good one.
2) The rule is there so everyone can take part in and enjoy RPGing, not just the people who spend every hour of every day in front of a computer screen.
3) There have been other RPGs created on OWF while I've been mod, where the creators haven't had a PPD limit and they've regretted it as things have gotten out of hand.
4) I don't know why you're complaining anyway; you've posted only a couple of times in the last few days.
5) I lead the rules as T-nex did, who was RPG mod before me, and if you'd like to know what this forum was like before there was an RPG mod who enforced the rules, I'm sure she would tell you. If you don't like how we're doing this, you're welcome to leave, though frankly since this is the first time in months that this RPG hasn't been totally dead, I would rather you didn't.

I am really sick of how things have been here recently; I just want to RPG and have fun and recently I have been enjoying this more than I have for years, but now it seems every time I log on there are a bunch of whiny OOCs I have to deal with. I'm here to have fun; not to spend ages repeating rules. It's really ruined RPGing for me these last two weeks.

Enchilado, thank you so much for posting IC even when everyone else is arguing around you. Kudos to you.
I would follow your example but I hate ranting and ICing in the same post, so I will post again soon.

AckroTheSlig 11-19-2009 04:04 PM

I'm done arguing, and as far as "Taking things the wrong way"?..
Yeah, I tend to get a little mad when I'm told to use my common sense.
I don't consider that "Helpful". All I'm saying is I was having a conversation about
the 24 hour waiting time with mars and Some people that I'll not at the time mention.. Should have minded their own business and not made some smart mouthed comment
like "Use your common sense". And if the 24 hour deal is a rule why wasn't I told before starting? I read the rules and I saw nothing like that what so ever. But yeah, this is the last time I'm going to argue over a "Game" You can reply to this saying what you want but i'm done, I'm going to be the mature person and quit this BS. So yeah, allow me to apologize to t-nex. lol..

Splat 11-19-2009 04:31 PM

ooc: Right then, let us put this behind us and never mention it again. If Ackro does return he can have a clean slate. Otherwise, lets just not mention it.

IC:
Grace shot Mars inna' head! Bwahahahaha!
Ok, kidding.

IC: (For real this time)
Grace was mildly surprised to hear about Mars' amazing self-destructive acrobatics, but then the mud was injured, "Right." He had to take care of the mudokons; what had they been doing down here, he wondered. For now he'd keep them busy, "You two," He said, gesturing to Hembar and Anni, "You can help carry the mud." That'd mean he could keep an eye on them, and have them with him when they'd got the mud somewhere secure. He turned to Flad and Tok. They were similar in age and build, but since Flad's pants looked rather rusty, he decided to give him the less... physical job. "You," He said to Tok, "You can carry the mud; keep a good hold of him. And you," Flad, "Watch him closely, and keep your gun ready. If he twitches and eyelid, put a bullet in his head." There was a pause, "Also, you guys have to tell me your names. Come one."

Anni reluctantly came forwards and grabbed Mars by the leg, thinking at least she might be able to keep him safe like this, though she was sorry to leave her chance to talk to Somi. Grace began to lead them back into the factory proper, while turning on his radio. "This is Grace; we've managed to catch the native. We need somewhere to take it, if you can suggest anything," He said to anyone who might be listening.

ooc: I'm sort of hoping #7 might be listening. O_o

AckroTheSlig 11-19-2009 04:33 PM

Ooc: Oh, I'm staying at the role play, just blocking some people. :D

Gretin 11-19-2009 04:48 PM

OOC: I posted IC as well :C And although it may seem pointless me saying this, the reason I'm saying is just in case my post was missed due to several-people-posting-at-the-same-time syndrome. Because I did ask if you had any suggestions for Ralph and Jim :p

Might as well use my second IC post too.

IC:

Hoping that nobody would notice the meech, Hembar obediently came forward and grabbed hold of Mars in place of Flad (I'm going to just assume Flad passes him over since Grace told him to just watch instead). If anyone noticed the meech she could just pretend not to know anything about it, since there were animals down here anyway.
The bigger slig then asked for their names, but Hembar remained silent, not knowing whether he that question was intended for everyone or just the sligs. He then picked up his radio and said "This is Grace; we've managed to catch the native. We need somewhere to take it, if you can suggest anything."

Speaking up, Hembar replied, "I think there's some cages in the labs, a mudokon was locked in there earlier today."

Actually, that probably wasn't the smartest thing to say, because if they went back to the labs she might be recognised. Oh well, too late now.

Splat 11-19-2009 04:51 PM

ooc: Sorry, I did notice, but I didn't have any suggestions... I'm trying to remember the times they've met in the past. There was the time Jim went to 'save' Ralph from that room on fire, and the time Ralph helped move Anni after she was shot...
Jim is so socially awkward. :p

AlexFili 11-19-2009 11:30 PM

OOC: Seems like Ackro, Grekin, Enchilado, Slig# and Mars have resurrected this RP. Nice work guys!

IC: "Oh my Ode", Borso exclaimed. Everyone was moving so fast that he literally had no idea what was going on. After all the hassle with the Paramites, it seemed that they got a Mudokon. Borso hurried over to where Tok was. "Hey, I'll help too!", Borso grabbed the Mudokon's feet, they carried him faster (to wherever they had to take him). "Finally glad this is over?", he asked to Tok.

Guekko 11-20-2009 12:45 AM

OOC: Whoopsie, I lost my place on the thread and the posts exploded, best be posting then ^^;

IC: The odd sound of Guekko's nails on the floor came to a stop a few paces behind Krivzee, his head turning and his eyes drifting about the place. Not the best place to be lurking in the middle of a security crisis he would imagine...then again in the middle of any factory during a security crisis was not the best place to be. Could end up possessed after all...again. Very unpleasant.
"I-is that the...the b-b-best idea?" Guekko's head now turned to Krivzee, "Sounds like a-a good way to g-get shot to m-me..."

slig# 5719 11-20-2009 01:05 AM

IC:
Tok came to Flad's call and grabbed the native's legs, then Grace spoke to the others and then to Flad. "...And you, Watch him closely, and keep your gun ready. If he twitches and eyelid, put a bullet in his head." Flad wasn't to happy about having to shoot the native but he would do it if he had to. "Also, you guys have to tell me your names. Come one." "Got it." Flad replied, passed Mars's arms to Hembar and walked beside the group carrying Mars, Holding his gun towards the native. "My name's Flad." He said.

As they entered the main part of the factory Grace started talking through the radio "This is Grace; we've managed to catch the native. We need somewhere to take it, if you can suggest anything," Grace's voice came from Flad's radio. Flad looked at his radio. "Oh right I better return that to the security office when this is over." He thought.

--------Meanwhile--------
A message was sent to Arnie's desk:

Transfer Notice

Name: Slen

Race: Mudokon

Position: Slave

Reason for Transfer: Insubordination

Extra notes: Just do anything with him. Under no circumstances should he be paid. He is being sent by FeeCo train and shall arrive shortly. All necessary paperwork has been delt with.

Signed
Gluck Shock Power Station executive.

---------Character Profile--------

Name: Slen
Race: Mudokon
Gender: Drone (male)

Age: 25 Oddworld years

Appearance: An ordinary green Mudokon however has a blue tint when thinking about his past.

Personality: Preferres to get the job done before anything else. thinks things through but not very smart. Helps others when the need arises.

Equipment: none unless you count his loincloth.

History: Slen was a slave at Gluck Shock Power Station. He was born in the power station's labour egg birthing area and since has been a slave. He has watched several escape attempts, all of them failures. Sleg came up with an escape plan: He would save up the very little wages he earned. (Gluck Shock was one of the few places that paid there slaves wages. usually just to see what they would do with it.) With enough Moolah he would buy himself and earn his freedom. Slen saved his Moolah for fifteen years and almost earned the Moolah he needed. However the higher ups at the Margog Cartel found out about what he was doing. They decided to take all of his Moolah away and transfer him to a working environment which did not pay slaves: Rupture Farms. The Glukkons spent Slen's Moolah on labour eggs.

AckroTheSlig 11-20-2009 09:51 AM

Ic: Ackro was sleeping soundly, when the group transporting the slaves grew near where
he was resting. "Hmm.. heh.." Ackro said in his sleep, dreaming about laying ontop of a huge pile of moolah. "This is Grace; we've managed to catch the native. We need somewhere to take it, if you can suggest anything," Hearing this, Ackro swiftly brought his self to wake up, where he pulled himself to his feet - his legs making awful screeching noises from just starting back up after being off during his sleep. Ackro pulled forth his gun, pointing it at the group. "Freeze, identify yourself!" Ackro said this for he couldn't see the group clearly yet, having blurry vision from just waking up.

dripik 11-20-2009 11:59 AM

OOC: Kind of umbelievable that you guys can fill up two pages in two days. The place is alive now, but... eh, I don't know. Too fast for me sometimes, especially that I have a lot of uni-related stuff to do, I just can't keep up with the waves of new posts, and it usually ends up as 'Nah, I'll post later'.

Oh yeah, most of that stuff was this talk about the PPD rule. Oh well.

---------------------------------

"I figured you'd be after this threat we're having now." said #7 Slig to Dionysia, hearing her answer. "You're supposed to be the big Native-detecting, blending-in Industrial spy! But if you think you spare a few moments from your crammed schedule, it would be welcome."

With that, #7 Slig set off towards the Security Office, closely followed by Otto. RG was hesitant at first, calculating what possible harm could Arnie suffer in the current conditions, but then decided to go with the others. He would detect anyone approaching Arnie's door with his heat-reading mode.

As they entered the Office, #7 Slig went over to the screens and had a look. One of the screens showed a group of people, including a couple of Mudokons and some Sligs, one of which was slightly larger than your average Slig (Grace). He was speaking into his radio, and #7 Slig could hear the message coming from his own. He picked up a radio from the desk and answered.

"Good job down there. Take him up to the Labs on the first floor, put him in a cage in the storage. There is another Mudokon locked up there. You won't miss it." Saying this reminded #7 of Rick, who has been there for a time now. He should get him some food, or water at least. But that wasn't as important now.

"Now, things seem to quiet down a bit, but... all this made me realise how vulnerable this place is. The building has a lot of weak spots, it's a cake walk for anyone to enter. And we can't do much work like this. We need to toughen things up." said #7 to the others.

"Weren't you guards supposed to take care of all this? Why is it only now that you think of this?" asked Otto, incredulously.

#7 didn't pay much attention to him. He was watching the screens, which were quite motionless now. Motionless...

"If I may note, most Industrial facilities have automated defenses. I have no recollections on how Rupture Farms was equipped before the current Boss of Rupture Farms, but..." said RG, and #7 Slig turned around.

"Of course! The chant suppressors!... And the float mines!"

"And motion sensors, if I am not mistaken about the operation of float mines." added RG.

enchilado 11-20-2009 12:22 PM

The terrorist was his. He wasn't going to just hand him over! He was going to kill the Mudokon. He had to. The problem was that he was surrounded by Sligs and a couple other Mudokons, and no doubt they would not take kindly to him shooting the native.
"Finally glad this is over?" asked the other Slig, helping him lift it.
There was a pause, then Tok said, "Of course. He was adangering the workings of RuptureFarms. Therefore... what was that? There's something moving down that corridor - and it's large! Quick, let's go and invis - enves - see what it is!"
And then, spoiling this plan, the blue Slig Ackro emerged from that very corridor. He pointed his gun waveringly at them all, and said: "Freeze, identify yourself!"
"It's Tok and, er, some other guys - " he glanced around at them, to make sure he'd got their names right.

~So... who posts next?

EDIT: Oops, forgot about Ackro's post. Fixed.

Splat 11-20-2009 12:42 PM

ooc: ME!!!!!
OMIGOSHROFL!!!!

IC:
Grace completely ignored Hembar's actually quite useful advice because, frankly, he wasn't the sort of slig who took advice from stinking muds. (sorry). Instead, he waited for #7's answer on the radio and replied, "Right, we'll bring it up now."
Before he could get any further, a blue-skinned slig staggered towards them, threating to shoot them all. Grace, assuming falsely that this slig was an employee and had been longer than him, replied as such, "I just got a job from the boss a couple of hours ago. We've just captured the native intruder and are taking it to the labs to lock it up. Uh, do you know where that is?"

Anni thought of offering to tell him, but she hated the lab and so kept her mouth closed.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Dionysia stood in the doorway of the security room while #7 got busy and looked sour-faced. Though when they began discussing factory security she didn't hold her tongue, "Oh good job; how many native break-ins has it taken for you to figure that out? There was the one that me and Gappiqu caught, the one who tried to pass off as a worker, that one who tried to possess the boss... I can't believe this factory is still standing!"

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

In the production lines, things were just beginning to run. Jim glanced uneasily up at Ralph, who was a little creepy in his opinion, but still, "So... Anni's healing well isn't she? Since she was shot?"

ooc: SOCIAL AWKWARDNESS!

MarsMudoken 11-20-2009 12:56 PM

I'm doomed...seriously this time...

OOC: POSTIN TIME!

1. Thank you Alexfili. I feel happy :).
2. Sorry Splat. Don't worry, things like this always happen. I am a screw-up :D.
3. Everyone wants to kill me...and now they can at any second.

Mars
IC: Mars perhaps was unconscious with his body but his mind was a madhouse...

"WE'RE ALL DOOMED!!!" "We're only doomed if the guys WANT to kill us." "There are two sligs with bruises. Yes, we're doomed. "Alright, that's it. LET'S GET UP!

Mars willed himself, feeling conscious again. Unfortunately at the wrong time.

"...And you, Watch him closely, and keep your gun ready. If he twitches an eyelid, put a bullet in his head."

Right...let's shut up.

Krivzee
IC: Krivzee continued to hack.
"Sounds like a-a good way to g-get shot to m-me..." Guekko said. "C'mon, what could go wrong?" Krivzee said sarcastically. Krivzee nearly had opened the door. Just a few more minutes...

OOC: Where is Dripik?

AckroTheSlig 11-20-2009 01:29 PM

Ic:
He had just pieced together a cunning plan soon after noticing and recalling the slaves from earlier, that the little group at captured. "We've just captured the native intruder and are taking it to the labs to lock it up. Uh, do you know where that it?" Grace had asked, he replied, saying
"Oh, I might just know where to find the labs are, however I'll be needing those intruders,
you see, for a promotion!" Ackro chuckled, releasing a few kricketing sounds.
"Eheheh! think of it, the boss will be tickled pink! He'll be so generous I'm sure he'll
give me an all expense paid vacation." He rang his hands together sinisterly.

"That is.. unless your willing to share the glory and allow me to assist you
in transporting these.. these.. things, to where the lab is. I was near the lab earlier,
it was close to where I found some music box piece-o-junk."

Ackro prepared for the worst, cocking his shotgun and gesturing to.
grace and Tok by tilting his head to the right,
then resting his deadly weapon on his shoulder - right up against his neck.

enchilado 11-20-2009 01:59 PM

"Um," said Tok, "Look, you guys can go about your business now. I used to work in RuptureFarms before that Abe guy blue (haha GEDDIT) it up. I know where the lab is - me and Ackro can take him from here. Just leave it to us."

~BLUE it up. I am amazed at my brilliance.

OOC: Where is Dripik?

ooc: Dripik is in Budapest, Hungary.

IC:
Grace looked at the blue slig sceptically. "Alright, firstly I just radioed #7, so he knows who caught the terrorist. Second, you're one slig and there are four of us. I dunno about the rest, but I was a soldier in the Cartel's army for 17 years and I could shoot you one handed from the far end of the stockyards. You really think you can threaten us? And finally, how do you think the boss will feel to hear you risked letting the native escape while you threatened to kill his other sligs? No thanks; I'm not letting this thing out of my sight, so stop wasting my time and show me where the labs are or I'll have you charged for aiding a terrorist, myself!"

OOC: That wasn`t what I meant...

Jimmy-le-sniper 11-20-2009 02:59 PM

-----OOC-----

Lol, I think I just made Arnie even more paranoiac than before :D. Now, to stop that door-hacking Slig...You'll notice that most of the characters in Rupture Farms have first met my robot by being his target :D

-----IC-----

SU-01 was still near the boss' office. He had been in sleep mode due to routine remote checkup from the Vikkers facility. When he went back online, the first thing he saw was a Slig and a Glukkon trying to hack the office door. The boss might have been unable to unlock the door and requested help while SU-01 was down...or maybe not.

He let out the classical "Freeze !" while aiming his spinning miniguns at the slig and the glukkon. "You're currently in a restricted area. Step away from that door...NOW !"

Another message appeared on Arnie's computer :

/////INTRUSION REPORT/////

MarsMudoken 11-20-2009 03:05 PM

OOC: Despite the importance of this situation, I'm not posting till' something happens to Mars.

Go ahead Guekko. Krivzee's working on the computer anyways so he'd take a while to notice the snoozer.

slig# 5719 11-20-2009 03:37 PM

IC:
Grace had just spoken through the radio. A voice replied telling the group where to take the native. "Right, we'll bring it up now" Grace replied. Suddenly a blue slig came up to the group pointing his gun at them and asking what they where doing, after Grace and Tok replied Flad said "I'm Flad." Flad then pointed to Grace "What he said."

Acro then made a "Proposition" to the group which Grace quickly replied: "Alright, firstly I just radioed #7, so he knows who caught the terrorist. No thanks; I'm not letting this thing out of my sight, so stop wasting my time and show me where the labs are or I'll have you charged for aiding a terrorist, myself!" Flad could tell from Ackro's stance and words that his intentions weren't good. "I agree with Grace here, besides The more of us with this native the better. I may not have been in an army for 17 years or something like Grace but..." Flad looked down sadly for a moment "...You wouldn't be the first Slig I've shot." Tok's words had just processed in Flad's mind. "Hey, did you just say you used to work here and know the way to the cells? If that's so then what are we waiting for? The quicker we get this native in a cell the better." Flad said and looked at Ackro "There's something not right about this guy. Just a feeling." Flad thought.

Guekko 11-21-2009 03:07 AM

OOC: Well, I'm not directly messing with said door, just standing near it. Not a good place to be though.

IC: Guekko mulled such over, stepping a little away from Krivzee and pacing around nearby, thinking and not paying attention. At the sound of the word 'Freeze!', Guekko stopped pacing, looking up he found a large robot...wait no, it was a Snoozer, he'd only seen one before...with guns pointed at them. Ah...
"I...I think that i-is what could go w-w-wrong..." Came Guekko's stutter, trying to attract Krivzee's attention. Yes, he looked scared, but name anyone who didn't look scared while staring down the barrel of a gun?

IC: Borso was a little bit shocked at the scene before him. "Ackro, don't do anything foolish" Borso had his hand on his revolver, in case things got messy.

AckroTheSlig 11-21-2009 04:51 AM

Ic:
After hearing this, needless to say his anger was far past boiling point
already. He turned his head for a moment, concocting a stratagy when Flad stepped in saying " ...You wouldn't be the first Slig I've shot." Ackro, now panting and wheezing like he was out of breath, and his head hung down looking at the floor slowly moved his head upward. "You really think you could shoot me?..
do you really? how would that make you feel.. Would you get off on the satisfaction of knowing you put a bullet in between the eyes of the only known blue slig?.." Ackro gestured at the slaves with his gun.
"All I wanted was to be important here, perhaps be someone by being included in the capture of these intruders.." Ackro turned away from the sligs, walking off in the opposite direction, limping slightly from one of his mechanical legs trying to act up yet again. Sparks shower from the bend of his leg every few seconds.
"Ackro, don't do anything foolish" said Borso, while Ackro was walking off.
"Hmph, don't worry Borso, one one of the few I actually respect."
He said while continuing to hobble off. Suddenly he stopped, looking back and saying.
"Find the lab yourself, grace.."
He chuckles in amusement, the hobbles off again, his image fades in the shadows of the factory.

Krivzee
IC: Hearing "Freeze", Krivzee was still a bit oblivious, but after hearing Guekko stutter "I...I think that i-is what could go w-w-wrong..." he got the idea something was wrong. Looking up he saw a snoozer. This wouldn't be a problem had this one not had a gun to their heads. "Guekko, I am a technician and mechanic. The best option we have here would be...RUN!!!". Krivzee bolted as his screens and keyboards retracted to his backpack. His legs switched to the emergency overdrive funciton and he ran like crazy...till' he heard mechanics and such. Heck, he could smell it. He followed a corrider and took a left for a room, and by checking his GPS, he just landed Dek's lab...

Well, no time to waste. He sprinted for any random machine and hid behind it.

OOC: I just looked at the map and this place looked as good as any.

"Huh, that guy seems to like walking off," said Tok. "Oh well, I guess I'll take you up to the labs. Now, where are they - oh yeah, this way. No, that way. Er, that's right. It's this way actually. Let's go!"
He marched off up a small corridor.

now... the rest can follow me if they like. I can't make them.

Ic:
Ackro, now was a ways away from the group of sligs, when he heard "Huh, that guy seems to like walking off". Ackro pulled his gun out, firing it randomly where the group was earlier.
The sound of a bullet ricocheting fills the area. The bullet, surprise! hits Tok's right leg, causing it to function much like his does at the moment.
"Heheheh, that'll teach them who likes walking off.. and who'll be the one transporting the slaves to their cages next time, ALONE! - At least I can find the lab without asking for help. Haha, yeah."
Ackro knew his day would come, when the other sligs would need his help..
or perhaps some of the glory when "he" captured a slave and wouldn't share with them.
He then stopped near an old vending machine, laying against the side that would make it hard for anyone to see him. "Ah well, that's enough excitement for one day.." Said Ackro, while folding his arms behind his head and resting. "Oh!, I nearly forgot about my snacks!"
Ackro pulled out a small bag of meech munchies. "I've been saving these for a special occasion." So, before his nap he nibbled on the snack, crunching on them.

Ooc: I guess, I'ma just say the munchies are like chips.

MarsMudoken 11-21-2009 03:26 PM

Sligs have metal legs. Muds do not. So Tok's injury is useless...heh.

Also is the lab's everyone talking about the same one Krivzee mindlessly ran into?

@Mars: Yes, I think so.

@Ackro: You blue bastard!

[-- IC --]

There was a whizz, a few pings, then a small fzzt and Tok's leg exploded. He was thrown sideways into a wall. His other leg was crunched at an odd angle in the process. He lay there, panting, wondering what happened; then the whole mechanical pants unit erupted and he was flung naked down the corridor, smashing into a door at the far end, which quite be chance happened to be that of the lab cages he had been leading the Sligs to.
"Poo-brain," he muttered, and fell unconscious.

~Ackro: You stink, brother.
