Ok I can see a figure behind that mudokon and I think it's a glukkon. Maybe it's Dripik? Also what's that tattoo on the mudo's chest?

First post, just checking in, any chance the bomb is some kind of container? BB could stand for bone brew or brew bomb or something, also 101010 is * in binary.

As per OWI's tweet I tried to take a closer look at the photo. All I could manage to find is highlighted here. Thought initially the X etchings were paper creasings but they're too perfect to be random.. But then again who knows..

Those X markings on down-right are part of a (military like?) fence I guess.
I think this shot was taken at the slig barracks.

The bottom left "X markings" are just a structure like a metal truss or something. The bottom right ones look like stitches on the side of his torso.

@Syrum The X pattern near the mudokon seems to be the loincloth which is sewn like that, the more X markings I think it's a fence, and that X on the top.. could it be that there is the Mudokon Moon, like in that user's drawing xD.

I considered the stitches but based on the body angle I wasn't too sure. Has to be something we're missing considering OWI is essentially telling us to look closer.

I think the messages written on the photo are “who?”, “where?” and “so tired”. I wonder if that’s what OWI wants us to notice, so I’ve tweeted them.

I created my own reconstruction with high resolution and a bit of color correction. I also enhanced the contrast and sharpened the image a bit, although 1029-LY looks a bit out of place.

It also seems there's a third Mudokon peeking in 9394-AL.

Me and MrsKJJ think picture looks suspiciously like the RuptureFarms Stockyards. The chain-link fence is iconic, and there appears to be a spotlight shining down from the top left corner. Considering this resistance force are calling themselves "The Spirit of 1029", it wouldn't be too far of a stretch to imagine them using the abandoned RuptureFarms as a base of operations.

Many people have already suspected this is Ed carrying what appears to be a warhead. Could they be preparing for war?

I'd say just hang in there for the next instructions. I think they're just giving it a bit of time before showing us the completed image, and then moving on to the next piece.

Initially, to me it looked like "BB" was holding a bomb of some kind, but looking at it again, I think i can see the handles of work tools? So it's like he's got his "uniform" or something belonging to his slave number wrapped around his tools, like a pack. There kinda looks like there's a handle too (in the smaller red square)

It's very possible that the Mudokons elsewhere are being lined up for a firing squad in this picture, after what happened in 1029. THAT is dark...

I agree about the work tools or something of the sort. I mean he looks frightened, his mouth isn't sewn shut nor are his eyes so maybe he's in line to go to the mines(against his will of course).

I don't really think they're preparing for war though. I mean originally Exodus was right after Oddysee right? I don't think the timeline would add up.

Well judging by the audio file we got, the firing squad idea is very plausible. Why else would there be Muds screaming over the RF alarms?

It’s worth pointing out that those alarms are not only used in Rupturefarms, they’re present throughout the industrial facilities in Exoddus as well.

There were also fences in Necrum.

I doubt Spirit of 2019 would be going out of their way to show us pics from an already-defunct Rupturefarms – it’s more likely going to be Necrum.

Either way, The Magog Cartel could well firing squad Muds due to 1029. They don't want more to rebel, so they number the Muds and kill them systematically if they show signs of rebellion. It DOES add up...

EDIT- Also would explain why Ed is hiding and is scared of whatever is with him. He doesn't wanna get executed.

It’s possible, but I didn’t really get that from the audio – what I heard was crowds of Mudokons pleading for help, with sirens going off and regular bursts of electricity. That seems awfully similar to the Tear X-Tractors that were in the Brewery.

I'll be honest, it could well be that too. I haven't beaten Exoddus more than once, so I don't remember everything. Oddysee and N'n'T, though, I beat those 5 times between the two.
