You can play the game on the hardest difficulty, it basically just removes those red highlighted points and doesn't actually add much more challenge to the game.

I played the new Hitman game. It's amazing. Really seriously, get it.

New Hitman has very mixed reviews. It actually is possible that it's good. I haven't played it yet, but I think I am going to

I'll probably give it a try. It looks pretty good. Although, i never played any of the other Hitman games.
|
The visuals are amazing and I really think that this generation has limited the game, but I'll give you an insightful review later.

I always thought that was, like, the whole point of the game.
|
I think not-killing is fun. I'd love to play more as a Careman than Hitman
|
I'm going to be charitable and assume he was saying 'You don't need to kill anyone except the target' which tells me that Nespotic obviously hasn't played a Hitman game before this, because that's basically the biggest draw of the franchise since 2.
Now if you really don't have to kill anyone most of the time, that sort of goes towards proving my point, the review I read saying 80% of missions were 'Get from place A to door B'. Which I really really want to be wrong, because I loved the old Hitman games. |
I thought the idea of Hitman was that it was completely open-ended in how you reached your target, meaning you could navigate through the entire mission without killing anyone (via stealth, knocking them unconscious, etc)?
|
That's exactly what I mean, sorry for being vague.
|
Really looking forward to this, the reviews have been extremely good (something like 90+ in Metacritic). Glad I pre-ordered, Vaas seems like an insane antagonist.

Ok, first of all, Hitman: Absolution is a typical Hitman, apart from instinct and point shooting. Only the Contracts mode is straight A to B. There's a couple of "stages" to complete before killing anyone, but that's normal, in most occasions, since the targets aren't really in the open, waiting for you. I understand people can complain about this, but I think it's the most normal thing to happen. In Blood Money, the first part of the first mission is just passing through a Carnival fair and then kill the target. In Absolution, it takes a little longer, BUT it's more engaging. This is more based in opinions than anything else, actually. The Story Mode is like any Hitman, you got a target. How you neutralize it, it's your problem. Neutralize and keep low profile. Now I've seen some reviews saying the game is completely different. I don't know which game are you playing for the last years, but this is essentially a Hitman game. The covers are perfect, for me, although I preferred I could climb through a window without having to lean on the wall, specially in heated situations, but it wasn't a game breaker. Without much spoilers, there's "Bosses" in this game. Can't reveal more without spoiling it, so...
The instinct isn't so much special, if you play Hitman like the older ones, apart from the Point Shooting. Yes, if you see an enemy and if he's walking, you can see his future trail, but it didn't help me that much, mainly because I tend to play it stealthy. The visuals are amazing, in my perspective. And even on medium resolutions, the detail is amazing. For some characters, at least. I like the last one.

Yeah, in this one Agent 47 looks very convincing
|
Not really a upcoming game. but there is leaked news of a new Wii coming out. Wii Mini
To be put simply, a Wii slimline. Could it also be the smallest console ever made? Even smaller then a PSone? Who knows. Who cares? Well I do. Because I'm sad. http://sphotos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...49051426_n.jpg It looks like a older console to me. Edit: It's an Canadian exclusive for some reason. |
That looks horrible.
|
Yeah...
I'm more interested in the Red controller to be honest. |
I think you can already buy them. They came out with New Super Mario Bros.
|
I don't see anything wrong with it. Just a smaller Wii.

|
Awesome!

A wii without online is like a xbox360/ps3 without online... terrible. Great for soccer moms and those who like singleplayer. A kick in the teeth for those who like Mario Kart, Black Ops and Monster Hunter. Edit: Okay admittedly you can still play local multiplayer so it's good for party games like Just Dance and Wii Sports, but you would miss out on the WiiWare, DLC songs in games like Rock Band and a variety of things. On a side note, I'd like to thank someone on Steam that gifted me DOTA2. I forgot to write down the name, so thank you very much, wherever you may be! :) |
