My guess is that this was done ad-hoc to cover while they get a contingency plan set up – there’s been no hints for new puzzle clues to direct us elsewhere, which I think would have happened if this was pre-planned.

Oh, I see. I think it might be new, and it was added when we got to the picture #2 page – the quotes that are appearing are the same ones that I highlighted earlier in this thread.

So: it’s new, and was added for picture #2, and retroactively to the page for picture #1.

So, after all that, were we intended to eventually find the clear images? If so I won't feel guilty having a go at them in Photoshop haha

Bruteforcing is useless - they removed all CWB images.

I think so, they must have been deliberately placed into the image list, just maybe not supposed to be found that quickly
