O-ho boy, do I know that. I turn the pages over with that wipey-thingy you get for your CD's (see it tucked away in the book in the photo?). My mum thought I was mental when she was going to look over the book and picked it up, and I jumped off my chair and practically screamed.

Heh. I have my book hidden so that people won't go and steal looks at it without me being there. It seems like there's a very small life force holding it together, despite all the "accidental" attempts to dismantle the pages.

I don't think my mum was trying to steal a look at it, though...more just wondering what was it so special that I blew nearly 60 bucks on...(I ordered mine from amazon.com cause the s&h from Australia would have been a fortune)

On christmas day when I got my artbook, mum started piling opened christmas presents on top of it and I went ballistic at her. (Hey, Ballistic :p)

I get exactly the same way. I want to show it to people, but I've got to keep it safe. I'm still restoring the smudges from Christmas 2004, sustained before I realised how vulnerable it was.

Is there actually a way to get rid of the smudges? I've been trying to wipe them with a cloth but they seem to get worse every time.

What is happening with the modern world? My mother's forbidding me to post pictures of me in my youth, and I can't find any good pictures of my modern day 36 year old self! I'll draw my face from a reflection in the mirror due to the lack of camera film an money. Once I've done that, you'll have to make do with the image of a crap drawing when you see my username for the rest of your life. I may not be able to draw people very well, but you'll get the general gist of what I look like. When I find a genuine photo, I'll post that.

Believe you me, she has her ways. No man would dare mess with my mother - not even me. Damn, her slaps hurt, especially when trying to take a photo of yourself out of the ol' album. My cheek's still red from the last time she slapped me.
