Ah, I read that article in OXM this morning. I just saw the magazine lying on the table i my house, wondered when my new issue came, and read it. Plenty of superb info on the Covenant Carbine, Brute, vehicles, etc... And I was going to scan in the images later tonight, but someone beat me to the punch:p Damn you all.

Not many people will know what i'm talking about but "Space Dementa" by Muse would be a good song to put in the game.

Does it have lyrics in it? If so, it should never, ever be put with the gameplay of Halo:p

Those scans are so very good. E3 is only a few days away.
Personally, I both love and hate E3. I love it because you get lots of information. I hate it because you get too much which takes a while to get through, and you never know where to go next... I'm going to be so confused upon it's aftermath. |

Plasma Swords are usable! Cars blow up. Ghost have two explosions! Hijacking looks cool! Needlers look worth picking up! The Elite is called Wort! Hubcaps fall off! Warthogs have horns! Ghosts can boost! Lens Flare! Destructable scenery! Rocket Launcher can home in on targets! Two attacks with plasma sword! I think there's a close up of a minigun in the flyby! Interactive stuff in multiplayer such as gates and the like! The Plasma Sword seems to be somekind of hidden superweapon in each level. Personally, I really like the new Needler. Did you see the rate of fire on that thing? Whohoo! And then there is Hijackal- erm, hijacking! Whohoo times 2! I'm prolly gonna piss in my pants when I'm able to play it... Anyone pre-ordering the LE Halo 2? If my local gameshop joins the pre-order mania, I'm on it right away!

Yes, needler looks like a contender for most stupidly powerful weapon. Like the pistol in Halo. Unless they don't fiddle with the damage on the needler. Then it'd be fine.

Without sounding too much like a fanboy either, Halo 2 will be the best game ever made...simply amazing and beautiful....people should cry its so beautiful. :p :fuzsmile:

Just saw the videos. Oh my...that looks amazing. Can you play as any enemy you like? Or just the Jackal?
By the way, I'm just loving that new targeting system for the rocket launcher! :love: A question though. Since you now can hold two guns at the same time and fire the left gun with the left trigger and the right with the right...which button is for grenades? It used to be left trigger, so what's going on? Maybe while holding onto two guns you can't throw a grenade, but you can throw a grenade while holding only one gun? Your thoughts... -oddguy |
Oddguy. You can still throw grenades silly. But you do need a spare hand. Which you don't have when holding two guns.

I assume that you can go over grenades and press either X or Y to swap one of your guns for the four grenades, and then use them with either left or right trig, depending on the hand its in.
In that respect, I think they have the same properties as every other gun. |

two new screenshots:
I can't get them in for some reason... you can find them here: Screenshots :) the bottom two.. theres an elite being blown up in multiplayer, and a nice shot of dual needlers. Notice in the needler shot, theres "no smoking" and a "no animals" sighns on the walls. You can also see that the flag in CTF has been givin a nice makeover. |
Very nice screens. I think you can also customize your own flag emblem...I think.
