Suuuuure.

Kastere stoned.
OHMYGODYOUWOULDBEHILARIOUS |
OANST didn't think so.
|
Nope. You actually had me fairly agitated by the end. After you left I told WoF that we should just stop playing now. We sat in confused silence for a moment more and then logged off to go our separate ways.
|
Sorry about that. There were points where even I knew I was trying too hard and being a dick.
|
This new update due tomorrow doesnt sound too bad :
http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/sy...es/default.htm I particularly like the idea of the games on demand service. |
It also makes games that you install to the hard drive take about half the space that they normally do.
|
What are the benefits of installing games?
I might get Bioshock from the Games on Demand thing. |
Less loading times, and your X Box will actually be quiet while you're playing.
|
I looked it up right after I posted.
The only game I can think of that's worth doing that is The Orange Box, for TF2. On a side note, has it been revealed if the multiplayer content is still available in some of the Games on Demand? |
:
And I don't know about you, but my X Box sounds like a semi going through a tunnel when I play Nuts 'N' Bolts without having it installed on my hard drive. |
I already have the update, some games have a couple gig knocked off them, some dont change. You save almost a gig if you reinstall The Orange Box. Games On Demand is shit, its horribly overpriced.
|
Not for some titles. Bioshock costs about the same as it does used.
I heard Australia got it the worst. 6000 points for Mass Effect? Pfffft. |
Australia always gets it bad. I'm surprised the revolution has not yet come. Nate's been slacking again.
|
The prices for these games are ridiculous. I mean come on, £20 for call of duty 3? Yeahh. Plus the avatar extras are not cheap either. You can buy a arcade game for the price of some of the crap they ave released for them.
|
It's cheaper to buy all of this stuff used, too, which is what really gets me.
And the Bioshock pieces? Why can't any of those be a reward for playing the game? This is moneygrubbingly retarded. Oh, and I can't play the Lost Planet 2 Co-op demo, even though it's RP and I'm of age to purchase Mature games? I fucking hate Xbox Live. |
Apparently there is no avatar awards to unlock atall at the moment, but there going to start doing it soon with some splosion man stuff coming out first. But still, why was this stuff not sorted and released with the update?
|
Microsoft disallowed it. The rumor is that they wanted the stuff that costs money to be the only thing available for a little while. The avatar awards should start being available in a few weeks.
|
|
I like the Big Science shirt a lot. I hope they add something for The Orange Box.
I know they won't, but I hope they do anyway. |
Im surprised MS hasn't released Spartan Armor from Halo on the avatar marketplace, as a shit ton of people would buy it no question.
|
They should sell it for like, 800 points.
They'd make so much fucking money. |
They would. Though, then it wouldn't be Avatars. It would be Spartans with the occasional Avatar.
|
I thought the splosion man clothes would be better, like a whole splosion costume or something. I do like the theme i unlocked for it though, its pretty good.
|
I think that anyone who wastes money on buying clothes for their avatar should have all their money taken off them, being slapped by a wet fish and being told, "You fucked up!"
|
The Splosion Man clothes are free.

I, sadly, bought the guitar prop for my "Slash" avatar and it looks awesome. http://avatar.xboxlive.com/avatar/Ridg3/avatar-body.png Unfortunately the prop doesn't appear. :( |
I have bought one piece of clothing; "Ferris Bueller Glasses".
They were 80 Points and I've had a spare 80 since like March, so it worked out. The only other article of CYBER CLOTHING I can see myself buying is one of the Monkey Island hats. |
Yeah, my avatar just looks like me on a bad day and I don't see that changing till I don't have to pay rent.
