Our mysterious signs are still appearing.

And just so that people know, I posted my own signs in the cave just before the hacker attack, saying that I hoped they weren't anything to do with the Herobrine attack. I was meaning to remove them after that particular mystery solved itself, but never got around to it.

Anyway, that's what they're referring to when they're talking about Herobrine.

New render of the world. Just two screens for now. I rendered an entire Google Maps version of our Minecraft world, including zooming function and all that stuff. I just need about 10GB of server space to put it online, lol. Maybe Alcar is willing to help out.

By the way, the server has been up for almost a month now and it seems people are enjoying themselves a great deal. More people keep joining, more stuff is being built. So this is as good a point as any to ask for some contributions. The server costs 10 dollars a month to keep running, so anyone who wants to chip in with whatever amount is obviously free to do so. It's completely voluntary of course, but greatly appreciated if you can spare a buck or two.

It's a logo placeholder. Like I said, the program is a copy of Google Maps but for Minecraft, so you can put your website's logo there if you want.

Alcar okayed using some of OWF's server space to host the entire map, so I'm going to tweak it a little to cut down on the file size :p. Sorry I left some buildings off :P

Oh so YOU built that. Why did you build it with slabs in the first place and now with the ugly cobble? Mind if I upgrade it with slabs bit by bit? I've been planning on luxury paths between main locations for a while now :)

I had no coal, and I figured that with the 1.7 update cobble will look much nicer.

But I've got a stack now, so I can help upgrade it. Torches to keep it snow-free would be nice, too, but only if they're placed so as not to melt the snow on the outside.

I plan on making roads to various other places as well. While minecarts are faster, roads create more of a sense of... I don't know... connection. Also sometimes I don't have minecarts, and they don't work for me in high lag.

Wow Rupture Farms look staggering! How many people are working on that? The place is really evolving fast, well done.

Not to mention it's quicker to walk in some cases.

Guys once again I feel like i'm missing out on alot. I bought minecraft for 26.99 and all the servers that I have played are stupid, please let me join yours! it's the only decent one! and Havoc and Dripik won't answer even though they have logged on since I send them. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

BTW when the hacking incident happened, I took a video of the hacker when he compromised Notch's name while being diplomatic with him. Notch's skin has a cape somehow. :P Cheater.

I debated with myself if I should burn them or not. Then I confessed to Splat and Max that I had them. They said to do as I liked with them.

So I looked at the RF construction site to remind me of the vast job that I have ahead of me and thought "Sod it" and stashed them. Alright, I won't be able to stay that RF was done entirely without cheating, and I have a bit of a guilty concious for deciding to keep them, but they have made the job easier so far. And it's not like I've been spawning stone or other materials, or will spawn anything again - Would defeat the purpose otherwise.

They're your bounty for saving us.

I gather that the purple lines draw from the maximum to minimum days since joining, post count and rep of all members of OWF who use the server.
The boxes, I guess, shows the average where most users of the server hover, though that bit I could be wrong on. I'm too lazy and hungry to decipher the Wikipedia article, and its ages since I took a maths lesson.

The line in the middle of the box is the total median, the boxes shows the interquartile range where 50% of the data falls. The ends of the whiskers are the minimum and maximum number from the sample. The top of the Rep whisker is me, the top of the Post whisker is Max etc.

I do when it helps explain to people why they shouldn't expect to be let on the server.
