Yeah, I can't see myself going back to it. I'd rather play Diablo 2 any day. They just did everything right with that one.
Have you tried Torchlight 2? Because that game is fucking great.
It has certain drawbacks, but it's really fun. |
No, but I've heard good things. Like that it's a Diablo clone, which if done right can be fucking awesome. I also heard that some of the Diablo/Diablo II team worked on it.
I played the demo for the first one and it seemed pretty good. I'll give it a shot next time Steam puts it on sale. |

Sounds great, I have been considering getting Torchlight 2 for a while. If it's got the approval of you guys then I'm definitely grabbing it. Especially now I know that Runic is composed of Blizzard members.
At this point I'm obligated to mention Titan Quest, which is reeeaaally good.
This game looks sick!
That game had better be good otherwise they got me all worked up for nothing.
It will be good. |
I love how they went back to the design of the original alien, with the skull visible inside the semi-transparent head.
Man I can't wait for this game. |

Some developers just want to see things burn
Oh, Varrok. No, sweetheart. Just no.
I'm actually sorry for that... weird
Ontopic: How do you get money for burning old things? |
It reminds me of Salad Fingers.
A couple of the guys who worked on Little Inferno also worked on World of Goo. I had no frigging idea what the game was, but I pre-ordered it anyway.
Haven't played it yet, mind you. But I will when I have the time. |
So... You burn things? That's it? Seems kind of boring. Can you even lose?
So you pile up goo? That's a bit boring.
I assume it's more fun to play. |
Having played Little Inferno for an hour, I still don't know what the hell it is. But I sure as hell want to play more.
Good to hear, there hasn't been any news of it for about two years.

I assume CP likes Mirror's Edge, and that is why he's excited about the sequel
Why?
Because, despite it being an EA game, I have to admit it has some fun elements.
It's fun if you just appreciate the freerunning and totally ignore the story.
And the bloom. Oh god the bloom. |
I played it on a weak notebook, with all effects disabled, and I skipped most of the story. So I guess you might be right.
Why?
Because you must love being negrepped by Nate D:
Mirror's Edge was fantastic and I'll pound anyone who says otherwise with my bony little fists.
I liked the bit where the baddie said 'You can't live your life on the edge. Sometimes you just have to jump!' and the bottom of his helicopter becomes grabbable. That was cute.
Other than that, I didn't like the game one bit. |
