Sam and Lady Margeret were planned to appear in MO, but stupid Microsoft forced the game out way too early, so it got sorta screwed. Well, big time screwed.

If there are any future games/movies, then it seems likely they will.

Wil 05-16-2007 10:09 AM

Yeah, the point of the queens is to explore certain kinds of parenting/nurturing, and idolization. It would be a waste if these ideas weren’t presented to the audience.

Slaveless 05-16-2007 04:58 PM

Which brings up a question: When does Skillya come into play of the series? I realize that she must have appeared in SligStorm, but in any other (planned) games?

Zerox 05-17-2007 10:41 AM

It may be that Skillya was to be featured with the other queens in MO, but no design drawings were done by the point they realised they couldn't fit them in.

While I'm thinking about Sligs, even though it may a little OT, wouldn'y an FPS where you play as a Slig be pretty cool? Maybe chasin' down rogue Mudokons or summat. A game like this from the industrialists viewpoint would be cool, since they're not exactly evil, really.

It isn't because no picture was released to the public none was made :p

I have another question, in Stranger's Wrath, the Looten Duke seems to fear Blisterz Booty or whatever, any ideas as to why?

Bullet Magnet 05-18-2007 10:19 AM

You don't want to know.

Zozo the Zrilufet 05-18-2007 10:34 AM

:pThat's what the outlaw said. Well I think I have an idea, but it's a bad idea.

Patrick Vykkers 05-24-2007 07:31 PM

He likely fears the outlaw because he arseraped him in prison.

Yeah, it makes sense since Stranger was shaking his hips....:pDid you have to be blunt about it?

Nate 05-25-2007 03:55 AM

More makes sense since the Looten Duke grabbed his arse as he ran away...

A thought: I remember a while ago there was a thread about Mudokons and how they evolved from birds, various discussion etc. and I think that in the end it was verified they evolved from birds (which makes sense through the feathers, three fingered hands, skull anatomy etc. etc.). Then another though: Clakkerz. Anthro chickens. presumably they evolved from birds too. So, would Clakkerz and Mudokons have had a common ancestor somewhere? How closely are they related? Are Clakkerz a more primitive from of Mudokon? Or just the birds that went a in a much less cultural/natural/spiritual direction way, way back in evolutionary terms?

Hm... I remember that thread. Maybe Clakkers didn't develop as much as the Mudokons, but they developed a bigger bone structure than the birds, but kept all their traits, like wings, beaks and feet.

Wil 05-27-2007 03:15 AM

That was speculated within hours of the first Clakker image appearing. Paramiteabe came up a theory I liked. It went that Abe has to help the Clakkers, but they are stubborn and refuse to believe he is their saviour. Take note of the ponytail‐like plumes coming from the top of a Clakker’s head.

But there has been absolutely zero official said on the matter.

Not sure if this has been talked about, but, what do you think Glukkons would have looked like if the 'great disaster' had never happened? I imagine they would be... very tall, at least. And that picture on the installation screen of AO, with the dude that looks like a Glukkon, maybe it was a Glukkon before this disaster, before they turned evil?

And what about Vykkers and Interns amputated feet? What would they look like? I suppose Interns would have... really, really long toes  Not sure how the Vykkers would work, though.
*shrugs* just a thought.

Nate 06-01-2007 11:55 PM

That guy was an early design of the Glukkon's outfit, before they went all business-attire.

Paramite of War 06-04-2007 03:17 PM

I need a picture of Stranger with a black background and it needs to be rendered. Thanks:)

I bet that Glukkon eyes didn't glow before the accident.

Bullet Magnet 06-04-2007 05:58 PM

Glowing eyes must be the worst physiological feature I've ever heard of. A huge waste of energy, and all it does is blind you.

ziggy 06-04-2007 07:57 PM

But it makes you look evil

About the great disaster idea, maybe the glukkons would be shorter because they would walk on their legs? Also I never remember being told vykkers and interns cut off parts of their limbs, but after realizing they have little stitches at the end of their feet it makes sense. I'd suspect they'd have big sharp claws that were impracticle for walking around in their labs. Like the claws they have on their hands but way bigger. Have the vykkers done other things, which is why ther are so hideous? I think I've heard that. I'm not sure why they would try to themselves ugly though......
